  1. Your favorite band sucks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  2. I just wandered into this forum and was shocked to learn people actaully think this game will get patched at all, much less lost content.
  3. Well, technically most of the player can't hit each other, it's more like sumo wrestling en mass. Now picture a bunch of sumos fighting to make space to move a ball carried by small speedy guy trying not to get crushed by the sumos. I lost my focus somewhere along the way
  4. It's worth it for the high, just try a little A link to a flash version of Bubble Bobble 2. Ctrl is start & bubbles. Directional is ...directional pad. Space is jump LINK to goodness
  5. You know, if a god wanted to send any message with these hurricanes, I'd like to point out that the red states are the ones that get hit.

How un-patriotic. I mean, the late great "Morgan Man" once shot a programer on the Obsidian front lawn for hording water bottles. (Old-skool reference, in two ways) Taking a arguement to extremes is in our blood!
  8. ahhhhh wonderfalls, how I miss you
  9. 20 oil rigs missing in Gulf of Mexico: US Coast Guard
  10. but it makes me feel all warm inside
  11. Listen to the Bubble and Bobbley goodness
  12. more than a few (old) mods on that list I would have thought Sammael had more posts tho

"I'm sorry Timmy, but you did clearly J-walk."
  14. I got to tell you, not having read the 5 pages inbetween, I have no idea how a thread about 800+ people dead and 300+ people injured got to this point. I love this board
  15. Look, I'm pretty green, but it is a leap in logic to automatically assume this is from global warming caused by humans.
  16. CNN is reporting "at least 841 people were killed and 323 injured"
  17. Just thought peeps would want to know: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050831/ap_on_...aq_050831105049 BTW, I got the error message while posting this
  18. I certainly don't think I compared it to the tsunami. While certainly many people died in the hurricane, I think the "amazing" part of this disaster is that a world famous city is now mostly underwater. It's certainly not as destructive in human life or (I would assume) in property.

those are on the same channel, arn't they? So how did you.....

A social experiment with an expected lifespan of about 300 years. That would give a "Best before" date of about 2096 or such (give or take a few decades) but we're taking all of you with us
  21. Um.....how the hell isn't this a bigger story. A city that is known by many in the world is currently 80% under water, and the water is rising. There is talk about the city being a total loss and it's like nobody gives a **** really. hmmmmm

It was ok, but it was missing the soul that Band of Brothers and Deadwood had/have. Only the first episode tho.
  23. New Orleans is actaully getting worse: n New Orleans, meanwhile, water began rising in the streets Tuesday morning, apparently because of a break on a levee along a canal leading to Lake Pontchartrain, and prompted the evacuation of hotels and offices. New Orleans lies mostly below sea level and is protected by a network of pumps, canals and levees. Many of the pumps were not working Tuesday morning. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050830/ap_on_...HNlYwMlJVRPUCUl
  24. Those look very neat... I wonder how much of this concept art are is Bethesda going to use? They bought the whole package, right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I suspect none of it, at least not offically, since it most of it was released to the public in one way or another.
  25. Flooded up to the rooves from what the pictures say, MSNBC said earlier this evening that the damn thing swelled upt to the size of Florida and from what the pictures say they're right! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
