  1. Inktank Sinfest xkcd That is all.
  2. Don't think this is what I read, but it will do. SITE says Telegraph a bunch of idiots.
  3. Bicycles Made eXtreme! Or more often Bicycle Motocross.
  4. Can't remember where I read it, but apparently SITE is firing back saying they never said that they were terrorist images, just that they were "posted on two possibly al Qaeda-affiliated, password-protected websites."
  5. I just started Metroid Prime 3. Stupid Retro making Hypermode difficulty unavailable until you beat the game once. I don't want to have to beat it for a third time to unlock it. The first two times I finished it was on a Wii that I borrowed from a friend and I never bothered to grab the saves before I gave it back.
  6. Lol, Lurkar's posts are pure gold. Lurkar is my hero. According to the codex link Star pact = Cthulhu
  7. Which model do you have? I've been looking at the Sansa View line as a replacement for my current iRiver H10, but the little thing is one well built machine. It's been dropped numerous times on various surfaces (carpet to concrete) and with the exception of a little scratching around the edges it still works and looks just like it did when I bought it 2.5 years ago.
  8. I really can't think of anything else to say other than damn that sucks.
  9. Which one was it. Bunch of my friends have been hit by MSN worms in the past year.
  10. See? I told you that you were imagining things!
  11. Can't say I've noticed any difference really. You're all imagining it.
  12. I'd have to agree, especially if he's using Newegg for the CPU anyway.
  13. I just finished watching a 4 hour miniseries version of The Andromeda Strain on A&E. Only complaint I really have was the number of damn commercials. Commercial breaks should not happen every ten minutes of a 4 hour show.
  14. I'm not worried. I'm sure Max can take you in a fight.
  15. Huzzah! I beat Metroid Prime 2, but I only managed to get 87% of the scans and 71% of the items. Now I can play Prime 3 for the 3.5th time. Damn you Retro for making Hypermode difficulty an unlockable! I don't want to have to beat it again so I can finally play on Hypermode.
  16. Your opinions are officially invalid. Thank you for pointing that out as I had missed that. "It's time you saw the future... while you still have human eyes."
  17. We were actually discussing missions from the Tiberium Wars, not Kane's Wrath. Kane's Wrath is a little harder than Tiberium Wars was on release, but much easier than a fully patched Tiberium Wars. I wouldn't worry to much.
  18. Location: Smack dab in the middle of a city of 80,000 people. Not exactly the best place to be. Our house is totally indefensible with numerous entry points and many large windows. There isn't a room in this place that doesn't have at least one window large enough to get through. While three of the doors are pretty damn solid and IMO would stand up quite well to someone trying to bash them down, the garage door is really flimsy and the door in the garage that leads into the house wouldn't last five minutes. On the plus side, there is no way that a zombie would be able to get through all the crap in our garage and the basement in order to get into the house proper through that route. Food & Water: We're pretty damn screwed when it comes to food. We have a small kitchen that doesn't have much space to store lots of food so we end up going through what we do have fairly quickly. As for water, we would do pretty well on that front I think. Our neighbour has one of those old fashioned well hand pumps that is about 20 feet from our front door. Last I heard (last year) the well water is still drinkable and the pump is in good working order. Weapons: We're pretty screwed here too. We have no guns in the house and as far as I know, none of our immediate neighbours do either. The only weapons we have are a couple axes and a hatchet in the basement that are left over from when we had a wood fireplace (replaced it with gas). Other than that we have a crowbard and a few aluminum baseball bats, but that's about it. My dad works in the same building as the wildlife conservation officers who have an extensive collection of rifles stored in the building so we might be able to get something, but it all depends on how much warning we have. The only saving grace for this place is that we are only 2km from the marina that has dozens of boats sitting there all year round. Thankfully the lake doesn't freeze in the winter and is full of fish so it would be possible to escape by boat if we could get there before everyone else thought of the same thing. I suppose we're also pretty good in that as long as we can survive through the summer and fall, the zombies will all freeze solid in the winter.
  19. Yeah I can imagine what that must be like. Being overwhelmed repeatedly like that is just no fun. It sounds like it would require a total rethink of my strategy for the game just from the fact that they actually use the stealth units.
  20. I need I "Yes, but not until I upgrade" option.
  21. It really was much easier before. The AI never attacked and mammoth tanks wiped the floor with everything. I hadn't realized just how much they had nerfed/buffed some units in the patches otherwise I wouldn't have thought you were such a huge wuss when it comes to RTS games.
  22. I'm in the process of cleaning my uncle's computer of all the crap that he has installed. It really "should" be faster than my 6 year old clunker, but it's moving at a crawl. Taking forever to do anything.
  23. Okay, I take it back. I never thought I'd say this, but this area needs more crates. I'm really running low on light and dark ammo. I was down under 10 each (of 150 current max) before I couple enemies dropped some light ammo to get that back up to 40. Even with ammo I'm starting to understand some of the complaints about the mirror worlds. Having to jump back and forth and then realizing that you don't have the right item to proceed and having to backtrack again. The hint system isn't really helping me. Every time it pops up saying "Hey! Found something here. You should go check this area out!" I'm already trying to get to that area and just haven't figured out the right path yet.
  24. I just restored power to the Torvus Bog temple in Metroid Prime 2 and I'm working my way through Sanctuary Fortress. With everything that I had heard about the ammo system for the better weapons being annoying I have to say that it hasn't really bothered me all that much. Once I heard crates will drop ammo if you hit them with the appropriate beam I haven't come close to running out. I've got nearly 70% of the scans and about 40% of items. It looks like there is at least one scan that I'm missing and I hope it'll appear again later.
  25. I started a run of Metroid Prime 2 earlier. Picked it up at the same time as Ikaruga yesterday. I was slaughtering my way through a bunch of Space Pirates in the Agon Wastes, but then I ran into a boss fight and died.
