Thi4f! Brought to you by 31D05! No wait, those numbers actually work...

If they sit there listening to their music while you are talking to them, then I agree. Go ahead and have them strung up by their headphone cords for being jerks. If they remove the headphones and turn the music off, or at least down while you are speaking to them, then I don't see the problem. Granted I may be somewhat biased as I tend to listen to music when I work as well, but it honestly doesn't seem like such a big deal to me. Is it really that big a deal to tap someone on the shoulder to get their attention? I know people that require that even without the headphones, because they get so absorbed in whatever it is they were doing at the time. It's not like you have to smack them upside the head to get their attention (or so I'm assuming).

No, it's bloody rude when people keep interrupting you every five minutes while you are trying to get some freakin' work done. There is a time and a place to socialize with coworkers and that is not at my desk when I'm in the middle of something else.

Have you ever found yourself awake at 3am, after planning to go to bed 3 hours earlier, yet having done absolutely nothing worthwhile in that time? And by nothing worthwhile, I mean the equivalent of cycling through your frequently visited web pages every 10 minutes for 3 hours despite nothing new appearing.

Woo! Vancouver takes game three in Chicago by a score of 3-1. Chicago pulled their goalie with two minutes left and only got a couple shots on net with the extra man. Half the time was actually spent in their own defensive end along the boards. Go Vancouver! Also, I really, really hate that damn delay of game penalty for shooting the puck over the glass. Something like five delay of game penalties between the two teams in the three games in this series so far?

That was my first thought, but then what does he do for air? Does he just have a huge lung capacity?

Just curious, but how heavy is Wolverine with his adamantium coated skeleton? Seems like the kind of thing that could impact his ability to swim no? Like perhaps when jumping into a lake, or river?

Did you buy the gold edition or did the vanilla game not come with a manual? I know that my special edition came with a nice spiral bound manual. No quite as nice as Baldur's Gate 2, but certainly up there. I've been bouncing between games. I'm at the last fight in The Last Remnant, I've been playing an hour or two of Left 4 Dead with friends most nights. On top of that I'm really itching to start my Infinity Engine game marathon. I will play and finally finish them all this summer.

Ace Combat isn't on PC therefore HAWX PC > Ace Combat PC.

I just had a horrible game of Left 4 Dead. 6 of us got together for a versus game, but we ended up with a really annoying server. After every map, it would evaluate the players and swap them around, I'm assume to keep the teams even. That's a nice idea in theory, but when you do awesome on one level and then have all those points taken away from you and given to the other team, it's just really damn annoying. It's hard to get any kind of a strategy going, when your team changes every round.

Boo! Down with Chicago! Down with crappy reffing! Down with injuries! Down with shorthanded goals! You jerks better come back and win game three after that horrible game tonight!

It looks like Assault on Dark Athena. I'm honestly not sure what the hell happened there. There was a witch almost right where I was standing. Someone triggered it just as a horde spawned and the witch ran into the horde. One moment there was no blood anywhere and the next all the zombies were dead and there was blood everywhere.

Well, I played No Mercy on expert hoping to complete my collection of expert runs. It took us nearly 2.5 hours, but we finally made it. Then I got killed 2 steps from the helicopter by a basic zombie and everyone had to leave. Next time zombies... next time I'll have the last laugh!

I actually got everything accomplished that I set out to do today! My room is clean, I applied for several new jobs, got my bike tuned up and got a haircut since it was getting long enough that it wanted to be combed. My university bus pass expired today as well.

I've been following it, but the games aren't on at a time that I'm likely to watch. I'm usually still sleeping at 10:15am. If they'd stop announcing the final scores ever 5 minutes, I might watch the rebroadcast in the evenings.

That game could and should have gone much better for the Canucks. They dominated the first two periods, but that first goal by the Blackhawks gave them all kinds of energy and Chicago was the better team for much of the third period. We'll have to see what happens in the next game, but hopefully Vancouver puts in the full 60 minutes.

Headshots are one hit kills. Even on expert.

I still haven't gotten around to playing either of the first two.

Wow, you are like a clone of me. Or am I a clone of you Eldar? I'm almost done with The Last Remnant. I'm at the final boss, but I ran out of revive herbs half way through the fight and a really painful AoE attack took out the only character I had that had the revive spell. I also didn't get any chance to use any of my special attacks. The first half of the fight wasn't too bad. The boss is only Rank 3 and my Battle Rank is at 65 which has allowed me to take out just about everything except the tougher unique bosses and some of the jerks that have really damaging AoE attacks. I managed to deal 360,000 damage to the final boss, but still didn't get his health into the red. He really isn't that hard at this point, as long as the revive herbs hold out. I think I need to disable the basic heal skill so they don't use up all my revive herbs on basic healing. I've lost track of the number of times that I've had some idiot use up my limited supply of herbs to heal 500HP, when the next guy in the queue can heal 6000HP with a spell that has unlimited uses.

Crap. 4 minutes from game start and I haven't made my predictions yet. Vancouver vs Chicago: Vancouver looked very good in the first round. Chicago was lucky the Flames are choke artists. Vancouver in 6. Detroit vs Anaheim: I bet against Detroit in the first round and they go on to sweep the series. Not making the same mistake. Detroit in 5. Boston vs Carolina: Carolina is on a high and will have the early edge but Boston will take it in the end. Boston in 6. Pittsburgh vs Washington: Tough call. The Washington goalie has played brilliantly so far. I'll give Washington the benefit of the doubt here. Washington in 7.

You figured out your speed too accurately so now you're lost? How does that work, or not work as the case may be?
-
Gah! One of the herbs that is used for the revive skill is also used for a normal healing skill. My idiot people decided to use them all up on basic healing rather than using their magic healing ability which don't require an consumables. This situation has been fixed. Anyone that has a magic healing ability and an herb healing ability has had the herb healing ability turned off so that won't use up all my revive herbs anymore. It's really freakin' annoying to slog through two areas with some moderately tough wandering monsters, only to get to the boss and discover that you don't have any ability to revive. This coupled with the boss's ability to charm unions and AoEs that 2 shot your unions makes for one very tough, if not impossible fight.

Predictions for the first round went like this: mkreku: 6-2 Detroit, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston (g), Washington (g), Pittsburgh (g) Volourn: 6-2 Anaheim (g), Detroit, Vancouver, Boston, Washington, Pittsburgh (g) Alanschu: 6-2 Detroit, Vancouver, Chicago (g), Boston (g), Washington, Pittsburgh Kor Qel Droma: 5-3 Boston, Washington (g), Carolina (g), Vancouver, Chicago Kelverin: 5-3 Anaheim, Detroit, Vancouver, Washington, Pittsburgh Deraldin: 4-4 Boston, Washington, Carolina, Vancouver Hurlshot: 3-5 Detroit, Boston, Washington (g) (g) after a team name indicates correct number of games in addition to the correct team. Mkreku, Volourn and Alanschu are tied for first with a 6-2 record, but the tie breaker goes to mkreku who correctly guessed the number of games for three series as opposed to two each for Volourn and Alanschu.
