Collector's Edition
I'm going to put it with the rest of my collection and wish all the rest had such nice cases. I fail to see how a nice metal case is of any less use than a making of DVD or a poster.

*stares at the pile of boxes in the corner of his room* Same here. Nothing of mine gets thrown out. Ever.

Dragon Age
I just went to look for the first time in months and the new website is a little jarring in comparison to the old version. The blood dragon looks pretty neat in the videos, but I can't say that I'm a fan of the version on the website. The big empty white spot on the top left and everything else on the right being shades of red makes it look like a big mess.

Collector's Edition
Excellent! One more follower for my steelbook crusade! Our numbers have double in just one short day, if we can keep this pace up soon they'll have to listen to my our demands! Who else shall join me in my crusade for a steelbook collector's edition?!

What are you playing now?
That's the impression I've been getting from the complaints here.

DRM?
I haven't actually played the game since 1.04 so I can't really comment. Back when I played my TEC missle boats were one stop kill everything machines that worked out pretty well for me. If I was to go back and play now I might update. Dunno what they've added since then, but Stardock games are a rarity among my collection in that they seem to get more than just unit tweaks in their patches, or fixes to bugs that I never encountered anyway. *looks at C&C3* Why must you have nerfed my Mammoth tanks? Just because they were super effective against everything and had better AA than many dedicated AA units... This is one of the things that I don't get. It's not like Stardock just pulled the Impulse patching out of their ass one day and said deal with it. I may be misremembering, but I'm sure I recall them saying that this was where they were going with their games many months if not years ago, that the games would have no protection on themselves, but that any patches or content updates would require authentication to ensure that only paying customers received the product.

I seem to recall there being something that showed which section you had posted in most often and for a lot of the regulars that ended up being WoT.

DRM?
*raises hand* Now you know one more. As long as I don't have any problems I don't really care too much whether the game is patched, mostly because for 95% of games I have no interest in the multiplayer aspect of them so I don't have to worry about being up to date with the latest version of the game.

DRM?
You are correct. It does require Impulse to patch, but not to play. Google seems to show that you can get up to 1.05 without needing Impulse, but you wouldn't be able to play online with others.

MP3s
It's also freakin' huge.

Good thing I just picked up a 1TB drive! Seriously though, the closest any of my current games comes to that is Last Remnant at 12GB and about a half dozen others at 10GB.- MP3s
No, no they aren't crap. They are actually pretty good media players. What are you looking for when it comes to an MP3 player? Just music playback? Any other features important to you? How much space do you need?- What you did today
Ouch, that sucks. I don't think I've had an exam that required me to write more than 3 essays and those have given me three hours to work on them.- What you did today
What was the exam for that 10 minutes would make that much of a difference?- What you did today

Have you read any of the posts from Stardock that talked about the issues the game had on release? They weren't going "Oh crap, those damned pirates ruined our game!", they were saying "Oh crap, we screwed up when designing the network infrastructure for the game." EDIT: Demigod: So what the hell happened? For your convenience.- Mirror's Edge
From my perspective, the game wouldn't have been as much fun without the story, "lame and cliche" as it may have been, but then I actually like the existing story. The snipers were never an issue because the areas that they appeared in, they were the only enemies around and their firing rate was slow enough that you were back to full health by the time they fired again if the even managed to hit you the first time. There are four places that I can recall having trouble with because of enemies shooting at you and of those two were quite easy if you didn't mind fighting back. 1: Coming out of the storm drains with the four shotgun cops are nearby. Just running can be a little tricky, but doable. 2: The first helicopter drop of PK's. There are three PK's and two drains that you need to climb along the far wall. I have yet to beat that one without disarm/shooting. 3: At the orange warehouse. If you've played the level you know the section I mean. Catwalk with 4 PK guards, only one at your end. Yet to beat that without fighting, haven't tried though. 4: The very end right before the final confrontation. Again, if you've played the game you know which room I mean. Possible without fighting, very hard though. And yes, that parkour boss was freakin' annoying. I didn't mind the inability to disarm. Once you get close enough the boss doesn't shoot anymore anyway. I was more annoyed by the damn counters if you punched more than twice in a row. I don't recall there being any buildings around when you fight the parkour boss anyway so that's hardly a problem is it? The ninja cops were awesome. Drop kicking them just as they jump across gaps and having them fall 20 stories down was awesome. Just hearing them behind you was pretty nerve wracking at times though.- Awesome
Heh, not bad, but that second comment is gold. :D- What you did today
I hope so, if it doesn't and I fail this exam I'm hunting you down and beating you though. Just so you know. It's worked for all of my exams so far! Well, all except for the one that it didn't, but that doesn't count. Last minute revision has been my preferred method of study for years and while it hasn't totally screwed me over yet, it's probably cost me a few marks had I not been a lazy jerk and actually studied properly. "I've got two weeks before my exams. Plenty of time to study! I'll get some in each night before I go to bed." *two weeks later* "Crap! I haven't studied at all! Where the hell are my notes and why didn't I bring a calculator to my freaking math exam?!" *runs off to buys his 5th cheapie calculator from the uni bookstore* - Dragon Age
