What are you playing now?
Hmm. I've only managed to reclaim two of my four high scores. One I'm not getting back with an ironmode mono and the other I'm really close to getting, but I keep missing those one or two blocks that would put me over the top. I should go on the offensive while he's sleeping and grab his scores for a bunch of other songs instead...

Audiosurf showdown right now. A friend beat a couple of my high scores, so we're going back and forth right now on a number of songs. Bastard took my Metroid Metal - Crateria Surface high score. He's got at least one of my scores because I can't get a match 21 bonus on ironmode. The blocks are just a little bit too far away to get the combo.

- What are you playing now?
I found it painfully boring and quit at the beginning of act II. Hope you enjoy it more. Agreed, Assassin's Creed is the master of master of boring side missions and boring story. If it had been like Hitman, it could have been awesome. At least Prince of Persia had Elika and an interesting ending. An interesting ending? I don't know if interesting would be the word I would use to describe the ending.- What are you playing now?
I broke down and bought Assassin's Creed on steam this morning before the sale ended. As much as I hate Steam, $10 is my impulse buy tipping point. Today's deal (Prince of Persia 2008) is a crappy deal. 50% off, but they still have it listed at $50 regular price. Steam is the only place I've seen selling the PC version for $50. Everywhere else has sold it for $30 starting at release.- NHL

The way everyone was going on about it, it sounded like he'd done something absolutely crazy, but after seeing what he did, I don't really see the big deal.- What you did today
I'm pretty close to that. I'm only 180cm and last I checked I was around 82kg. Admittedly that was back a good 5-6 months ago and I've been a lazy bastard all winter. Yeah, that's the catch when living the colder regions of the earth. Once seated in a nice, warm car in cold morning of -27 degrees, you won't ever go back to biking I wish I had a car! My preferred school schedule of nothing before noon and my habit of not getting up till noon or later doesn't allow me the use of the family vehicle very often when combined with the requirement that I get up by 8am in order to drive others to work before getting the vehicle for my own use. Instead I'm usually left standing at the bus stop for 10 minutes waiting for the bus which sucks in the middle of winter. Thankfully they changed from a 30 minute schedule to a 40 minute schedule so the buses actually run on time now. It was a pain in the ass trying to figure out when the bus would go past on the old schedule.- What you did today

Don't you just love exam time? For the rest of the semester in 5 classes I have 3 exams, 1 VB program, and 3 group projects (two due this week, wednesday/thursday). In other good news, I just finished a temporary data entry job so I should be getting some money from that in the near future. I really need to get a proper computer chair before I attempt anything like that again. My current chair is way too low for extended typing sessions.- What D&D class are you?
The PHB is $75 because for some reason they are linking to the super deluxe edition rulebook and not the standard version which is still $35. Quiz said I was a Ranger.- NHL
I had a feeling that it was going to be an interesting game when it was tied 3-3 after one.- Playstation Version
I wouldn't worry about the button prompts too much. They probably didn't even think about the button prompts when they were putting together the demo footage for Qore. If you have/are watching Gametrailers TV, there were a couple segments of dialogue that were shown that had playstation button prompts.- TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline, READ FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING
I remember replaying Kotor 1 about 2 years since my last playthrough and it's been almost like playing the game for the first time. While I of course new the general plot already, I didn't remember most of the quest, not to mention the smaller ones. Unfortunately, I played TSL so much (along with modding) that I doubt it'll be the case here I wish I could do that. There are very, very few games in my collection that I can replay after years and not remember just about everything that I accomplished the last time through. It's sucks so very much to not be able to re-experience a story again no matter how long ago it was. I might not be able to recite everything from scratch, but once I'm back in the game it all comes flooding back. I seriously envy people that can leave something for a year, come back and have everything seem fresh to them again.- What you did today
Thank you! I completely missed that options button...- What you did today
I somehow managed to switch the forum over to a threaded view instead of linear and now I can't find the stupid thing to change it back.- What you did today
??? organizational theory? you mean they actually have CLASSES on this? damn... coulda used that a couple decades ago. taks Yeah, they do indeed have classes on that. It wasn't exactly very in depth though, so I dunno just how much the average person would really get out of it.- What you did today
I had a test today in my Organizational Theory class that was worth 50% of my final mark. I'm absolutely horrified about what kind of mark I'm going to get on that test. It didn't seem that bad to be honest. Only needed to answer 7 of the 11 questions and I actually had answers for more than the seven that I did answer, but that's what has me worried. Those always seem to be the tests that I do the worst on. 50% is just a damn huge part of my mark. Watching the interview on TV right now. Just wow...- Movies you have seen recently
I had a sudden urge to watch Bourne Supremacy last night so I stayed up late to watch that. Now I want to see Ultimatum again, but I don't have that one on DVD.- Boys
Humans suck. Cats and squirrels, on the other hand, are awesome. No, both cats and squirrels suck also. Cats are jerks and squirrels are fond of decapitating flowers and digging up gardens.- What are you playing now?
I'm bouncing back and forth between a number of things. I still get the occasional game of L4D going, I'm on Chapter 21 in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and my copy of F.E.A.R. (1, not Project Origin) arrived the other day. Also, for some reason, I bought a British version of F.E.A.R. It has the BBFC ratings on it. For $10 I'm not complaining, but cheap little DVD case? It looks pretty pathetic in my game collection wedged in between Crysis (Limited Edition shininess!) and NOLF2. It kinda blends into the background.- What you did today
It looks like I'll be seeing it tonight as well. Or at lest I'm going to try to. Jerks. There aren't any midnight showings here. Just 3, 7 and 10pm tomorrow.- What are you playing now?
There are a couple places that you can hide while you run down the clock. Like Will says, you can hide in the far corner, behind the bumper cars and only have to deal with about a dozen enemies that come your way. You can hide around the corner of the one apartment building. There is a little L shaped corner on the right-hand (looking from the ferris wheel) side. In addition there is a little shack just in front and to the left of where you are told to drop Capt. whats-his-face. If you go inside there, and go prone under the table you'll get bombarded with grenades, but 99% of them will land outside the shack. It might take 2 or 3 tries to not get that one lucky grenade that gets thrown through the window, but no one will come inside you shoot you. Of course it's easy if you just sit in one of the hiding spots. It's a huge pain in the ass if you actually try to protect the other guy (even though he's invincible) and shoot all the enemy soldiers.- What are you playing now?
Heat isn't that hard. The sniper extraction mission, without hiding, is harder. Just keep using those airstrikes. Once you get past the house at the front of the field it's a cakewalk. Toss an air strike outside, then maybe one or two more down the hill, then just sprint down the left hand side of the map. I generally die more often trying to get back past the field than I do in the entire rest of the mission. Don't forget your smoke grenades as well. Enemies won't hit you if they can't see you. - TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline, READ FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING
