What are you playing now?
Try Shoshone if you've ever been frustrated by garbage results from ancient ruins and early barbarian problems. Massively OP civ for the early game, that confers a big advantage, especially in science, right off the bat (scout replacement unit is as strong as a Warrior, gets to choose Ancient Ruin yield, only balance is a short cooldown on each reward.) I found that Venice was pretty strong as well though they take longer to build up steam. Double trade routes provides a ridiculous amount of money once you get them going.

Raptor? If so yes. You should go play it. After beating Pokemon a couple weeks ago I've gotten back into Dark Souls again after I finally made my way out of Blighttown. That place can go die in a fire. I just finished clearing out the Painted World though I left Priscilla alive. I've ditched my longsword for a claymore. Pretty much the same move set, but more damage, greater range and higher chance of stunning an enemy for just a small loss of speed. More than worth it so far. I think I have enough titanite to put a few more levels into it as well.

Bingo. Stock cooling is why you don't want one of these cards just yet. Even in "uber mode" the card was still throttling it's performance. At 100% fan speed it's >60db so it's pretty damn loud. Wait for the non-reference coolers at least. Alternatively the other reason you might not want one is that it won't be compatible with nVidia's G-Sync variable refresh rate tech if that is of interest to you.

Wouldn't you just get a CK2 to give away? When I bought Poker Night 2 I got a free Poker Night, wich I already had (and not from Steam, but Telltale gave Steam copies then for the TF2 items), so the PN1 has been in my inventory since to give away, with no-one wanting it so far... Only some games will specifically give you an extra copy if you already own it. Most games will just disappear.- STEAM!

2 weeks is pretty bad. Any idea where the hang up is? Have you been charged for it? Was it shipped and just not delivered? Have you complained to the place where you ordered from and said "Hey! WTF dudes, where's my game?!"- What are you playing now?
I have once again been outsmarted by the mailman. My copy of Rome 2 was sent out for delivery today. I got up in plenty of time to ambush him as he made his rounds, went outside and double checked the mailbox. To my horror, the delivery slip was already inside the mailbox. Now I have to wait for my package to get transferred to the post office for pickup instead. One of these days I will catch the mailman... I only wanted to play Rome 2.- What are you playing now?
Ugh, I swear the mail man is a goddamn ninja. How the hell did he manage to drop off the mail in the 2 minutes that I was focused on something else and then disappear?! Not that it matters since it looks like my game wasn't shipped in time to get it here today. Stupid labour day.- What are you playing now?
The only people that say that Fallout 1/2 combat is good are those that haven't accidentally hit someone in the LA Boneyard. I'm getting ready to play "Ambush the Mailman". He's not getting away without actually delivering my game this time. No more little "You can pick it up at the post office in 8 hours" crap when you could have just come up to the door and knocked because there are people home all day.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Go take a look at the financial reports. I believe that 2008 was the first year that the Entertainment and Devices division managed to turn a profit. They've managed to do so every year since then, but they've mostly had a relatively small operating income. Since they've started turning a profit they've managed to make somewhere between $2-$3 billion. They lost over $3 billion just looking at 2006 and 2007 let alone the years before that.- What are you playing now?
Who puts a platforming section right after the lass boss? Metroid developers? Depending on how you define final boss, at least half of the series has a timed getaway with some manner of platforming after the final boss.- Steam card confessions

*mind boggled* Protip: You can (often) run more than one steam game at a time. Collect cards from multiple games at once.- Origin Of Your Name And Avatar
Yeah, I remember there being a big thing about it at the time because a lot of people signed up with their real names so they had a lot of names to go back and change for people. Also, I'm pretty sure that DM's name was also his initials, just like GM here. I recall he got caught by the name switch and was sporting his real name for a few days.- Origin Of Your Name And Avatar
Kinda surprised that I never posted in this thread, but it looks like the last post before Sargy's massive necro bump was a couple weeks before I joined. That's what I get for staying over on the Interplay forums for another 6 months after Obsidian opened. My username was just something I made up back in 2001. I needed to get an e-mail address to sign up for the Black Isle forum and this was the name I created to go with it. I wanted something that was pronounceable, but there wasn't much consideration of the name beyond that. It went on to become the name for my first PnP character and I've used it for just about everything ever since then. I actually briefly went by the name "D'aler'iao" on Black Isle (because apostrophes make names cooler!) but that was reverted to Deraldin when everyone had their screen names reverted to the account name they signed up with. As for the avatar, I've used this one since just before Alpha Protocol was released. Someone was making up a bunch of avatars with the Alpha Protocol text and I grabbed this one from the list. I used the Salamando image from my sig before that because Secret of Mana is awesome and Salamando is best spirit.- Steam card confessions
Should have just given the cards to me.
