Witness the difference in style between RTS and TBS. " Edit: I swear there was no second page!
-
Where were you shopping that it was $70? I got my copy for $50 with tax the first week at my local EB.

The cuts were still a little too quick for mine, but there certainly have been far worse shaky-cam films - I give the world championship to the "Bourne Supremacy" here - I had no idea what was happenig in any of the fights/chase sequences there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As I said I would have to go with Riddick as not only did it have quick cuts and shaky cam but it also blurred most of the picture so you were left going "WTF just happened?!?!"
-
I thought the battle scenes were well done on the whole. The close up shots wern't anywhere near as bad as some other movies I've seen. *cough*Chronicles of Riddick*cough* We did get some shaky cam but not too much and the cuts weren't lightning fast so you could at least see what was happening before it changed again.

Well obviously not all stuff works one them or else no one would be here complaining about why PC users get a patch and Xbox doesn't.

My scores ln the tests were 12/15 on the first one. The second quiz was 24/30 and 7/20 on the advanced quiz. I never read the comic. I missed the one about Spike's female friend as I never saw her, having only seen a handful of episodes that I can recall. I mixed up Slag and Snarl and I missed the one about Fortress Maximus's decepticon counterpart. Shockwave BW the G1 Megatron

Make sure you have wells everywhere. Including in the middle of your farms and by the quarry.
-
I vote for this one.
-
Yeah the really tought thing about that mission was the fire. One breaks out almost every month in the game and in order to keep it from spreading you need to have maybe 3 or 4 wells per group of buildings. I think I had all my buildings clustered together in groups of about 9 buildings. If one went up they would all go up however I had enough wells that usually the fire was out fast enough that only one or two other buildings caught fire.

I got the last one for my birthday over a year ago, so yup. They're a tad on the pricey side, especially season 1. It was like 60 bucks for 13 episodes. After that they're all around 60 bucks, but they have 26 or so instead of 13. *Canadian Funds I also have Beast Wars, which is a lot more affordable. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where are you buying them? Everywhere I've seen them they are at at least $80.

I hate you. I can't afford them. The things you have to put up with when you are an unemployed student.

KOTOR II in the top 100 games of all time
Deraldin replied to 11XHooah's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The list goes back as early as 1990 with SUper Mario Bros. 3 Half Life is number 5 and Halo is like 17 or something. Tie Fighter and MoO aren't on the list though. Chrono Trigger made it. -
Yeah, but Enterprise being cancelled was justified. It was awful. The only episode that I actually watched all the way through was the latest one with the mirror universe thug federation. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this movie. After the 4 months of absolutly nothing I was interested in I now have some movies that I would like to see. And if as someone else said it's all action scenes with only the barest plot it would still be better than EpII.

You can only patch games that are Live enabled. Halo is Live Enabled, TSL is NOT Live enabled therefore you can NOT patch TSL on Xbox.

Wow, harder than the first one? I could never get passed that mission where you're in the mountains and have to stockpile food, and the wolves and bandits keep attacking you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You mean mission 4 in the economic campaign? The one where a fire breaks out in your caslte every 5 seconds. That one was damn annoying but definatly beatable. The one mission that I could never beat was the final mission against the Pig where you come back to his fully beefed up castle. That one was tough, even on easy. Rhomal: What difficulty did you play the original on? Some of those early missions can be damn tough on Very Hard. What do you mean some of the VO is hammy/over the top? From what I've heard on the music is that a number of the tracks have been reused from Stronghold and Crusader. I plan on picking up Stronghold 2 at some point but I'm not sure if I can afford to spend the money on it right now. Need to get a part time job so that I have some disposable income.

Isn't that what the "Gold" and "Platinum" titles mean? (Gold = 1000000, Platinum 200000) Or is that just a swanky word play to get people to think the same old games are *new* and *shiny*? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In this case the gold and platinum are package deals. Gold contains NWN + SOU and Platinum contains NWN + SOU + HOTU.

You get the same number of attacks using a double bladed saber as you do with two lightsabers.
-
For something a little more like the Command & Conquer you could check out Act of War. The campaign is fairly short and there are only a few skirmish maps but it is a lot of fun to play. Might want to wait until the price drops slightly as paying full price for a game that short is a little much depending on if you are into multiplayer matches or not.

one weapon vs 2 weapon fighting
Deraldin replied to Angry Jedi 8's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The whole game runs like silk. But then I have the mod that let's you skip Peragus. Never had any problems with Malachor. -
How strong was he/she?
Deraldin replied to Who are these people?'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Here would be my best Melee monster. He gained only one level from the Hssiss glitch and he did it without any input from me except when he tried to attack on of the monsters at the back of the group and couldn't get close enough to him. Managed to power his way through the Sith Battle Simulation Mod on Difficult with no problems. Unfortunatly I didn't get my personal crystal to it's max level as Kriea stopped talking to me except to say we must got to Dantooine. The only thing he used his force powers for was Master Speed, Master Heal and Master Energy Resistance which is really helpful against lightsabers. I would have had higher stats if I could have gotten some better items. I was still using a +2 Str Glove I bought. My belt only gave me +1 to Con. I also had a pair of lightning gloves and another pair of gloves that gave 1-10 unstoppable damage when unarmed so neither of those were helpful. I did get one nice item though. A physical boost d-package implant. +3 to all physical stats. Name: Vynar Pace Gender: Male Light Side Mastery +3 Str Level 15 Jedi Guardian Level 18 Weapon Master Str: 36 +13 Dex: 17 +3 Con: 26 +8 Int: 18 +4 Wis: 19 +4 Cha: 17 +3 -
I despise Newegg. Why don't you ship internationally damn you!? <_<

I once did almost 400 with Kill on Queen Talia. I'm not sure why but she had over 2000HP. Each time Kill did damage it cam back with 387 damage.

Best Prestige class for Sentinel?
Deraldin replied to nobones's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I've used Guardian/Weaponmaster once and Sentinel/Watchman twice. The first was a tank, but stats increase slower and are weighted toward one thing. He couldn't talk anyone into ANYTHING. I got a lot more conversation choices with the second due to higher INT and CHA, etc. I didn't think I'd use the extra stealth abilities at all, but they come in quite handy at Trayus; last time through I didn't use one grenade. Just cloak, open the door, count the Sith, Force Lightning or Wave the crowds and bash three or less. They killed my Weaponmaster dead; but the Watchman came out of most of those fights without a scratch. Has anyone tried the Sentinel/Jedi Master combination? I've been thinking about trying that just for an experiment. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Must have been a terrible weapon master. My current build is steamrolling through everything. Pah, bring on the endless waves of dark jedi! -
PC version: why performance so poor?
Deraldin replied to PinkJedi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It's because generally, based on my experience anyway, that you generally only get one or the other with any one game. If you're playing an RPG with graphics on par with the latest FPS to hit the shelves that's great, however if it comes at the expense of a great or even a good story that is when the balance shifts from graphics being the icing on the cake to the straw that broke the donkey's back. -
There were Duros and Gand on the yacht. The Twi'leks were there too but then don't ount since they don't have guns.
