  1. I got the last one for my birthday over a year ago, so yup. They're a tad on the pricey side, especially season 1. It was like 60 bucks for 13 episodes. After that they're all around 60 bucks, but they have 26 or so instead of 13. *Canadian Funds I also have Beast Wars, which is a lot more affordable. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where are you buying them? Everywhere I've seen them they are at at least $80.
  2. I hate you. I can't afford them. The things you have to put up with when you are an unemployed student.
  3. The list goes back as early as 1990 with SUper Mario Bros. 3 Half Life is number 5 and Halo is like 17 or something. Tie Fighter and MoO aren't on the list though. Chrono Trigger made it.
  4. Yeah, but Enterprise being cancelled was justified. It was awful. The only episode that I actually watched all the way through was the latest one with the mirror universe thug federation. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this movie. After the 4 months of absolutly nothing I was interested in I now have some movies that I would like to see. And if as someone else said it's all action scenes with only the barest plot it would still be better than EpII.
  5. You can only patch games that are Live enabled. Halo is Live Enabled, TSL is NOT Live enabled therefore you can NOT patch TSL on Xbox.
  6. Wow, harder than the first one? I could never get passed that mission where you're in the mountains and have to stockpile food, and the wolves and bandits keep attacking you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You mean mission 4 in the economic campaign? The one where a fire breaks out in your caslte every 5 seconds. That one was damn annoying but definatly beatable. The one mission that I could never beat was the final mission against the Pig where you come back to his fully beefed up castle. That one was tough, even on easy. Rhomal: What difficulty did you play the original on? Some of those early missions can be damn tough on Very Hard. What do you mean some of the VO is hammy/over the top? From what I've heard on the music is that a number of the tracks have been reused from Stronghold and Crusader. I plan on picking up Stronghold 2 at some point but I'm not sure if I can afford to spend the money on it right now. Need to get a part time job so that I have some disposable income.
  7. Isn't that what the "Gold" and "Platinum" titles mean? (Gold = 1000000, Platinum 200000) Or is that just a swanky word play to get people to think the same old games are *new* and *shiny*? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In this case the gold and platinum are package deals. Gold contains NWN + SOU and Platinum contains NWN + SOU + HOTU.
  8. You get the same number of attacks using a double bladed saber as you do with two lightsabers.
  9. For something a little more like the Command & Conquer you could check out Act of War. The campaign is fairly short and there are only a few skirmish maps but it is a lot of fun to play. Might want to wait until the price drops slightly as paying full price for a game that short is a little much depending on if you are into multiplayer matches or not.
  10. The whole game runs like silk. But then I have the mod that let's you skip Peragus. Never had any problems with Malachor.
  11. Here would be my best Melee monster. He gained only one level from the Hssiss glitch and he did it without any input from me except when he tried to attack on of the monsters at the back of the group and couldn't get close enough to him. Managed to power his way through the Sith Battle Simulation Mod on Difficult with no problems. Unfortunatly I didn't get my personal crystal to it's max level as Kriea stopped talking to me except to say we must got to Dantooine. The only thing he used his force powers for was Master Speed, Master Heal and Master Energy Resistance which is really helpful against lightsabers. I would have had higher stats if I could have gotten some better items. I was still using a +2 Str Glove I bought. My belt only gave me +1 to Con. I also had a pair of lightning gloves and another pair of gloves that gave 1-10 unstoppable damage when unarmed so neither of those were helpful. I did get one nice item though. A physical boost d-package implant. +3 to all physical stats. Name: Vynar Pace Gender: Male Light Side Mastery +3 Str Level 15 Jedi Guardian Level 18 Weapon Master Str: 36 +13 Dex: 17 +3 Con: 26 +8 Int: 18 +4 Wis: 19 +4 Cha: 17 +3
  12. I despise Newegg. Why don't you ship internationally damn you!? <_<
  13. I once did almost 400 with Kill on Queen Talia. I'm not sure why but she had over 2000HP. Each time Kill did damage it cam back with 387 damage.
  14. I've used Guardian/Weaponmaster once and Sentinel/Watchman twice. The first was a tank, but stats increase slower and are weighted toward one thing. He couldn't talk anyone into ANYTHING. I got a lot more conversation choices with the second due to higher INT and CHA, etc. I didn't think I'd use the extra stealth abilities at all, but they come in quite handy at Trayus; last time through I didn't use one grenade. Just cloak, open the door, count the Sith, Force Lightning or Wave the crowds and bash three or less. They killed my Weaponmaster dead; but the Watchman came out of most of those fights without a scratch. Has anyone tried the Sentinel/Jedi Master combination? I've been thinking about trying that just for an experiment. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Must have been a terrible weapon master. My current build is steamrolling through everything. Pah, bring on the endless waves of dark jedi!
  15. It's because generally, based on my experience anyway, that you generally only get one or the other with any one game. If you're playing an RPG with graphics on par with the latest FPS to hit the shelves that's great, however if it comes at the expense of a great or even a good story that is when the balance shifts from graphics being the icing on the cake to the straw that broke the donkey's back.
  16. There were Duros and Gand on the yacht. The Twi'leks were there too but then don't ount since they don't have guns.
  17. Even so Jolee could have been placed in depending on which response you gave about Revan.
  18. I said single and I even constructed a single, yet all I get are doubles. I've found 5 doubles in random loot+quest rewards and 1 short. It's really annoying. Especially when none of your other characters have two weapon fighting feats yet.
  19. Heh. This caught me the first time as well. I didn't notice the switch characters button on the right. Interesting to note that it seems to sort character by name so if you create a new character with the same name as an older one your saves will be under the same section as the old character.
  20. Whenever you walk outside you stop every few seconds because the clouds in the sky are causing massive lag.
  21. How do I open the door on Korriban without using the Thorium charges? The charges always destroy a holocron. I would like to see the holocron for once. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It only works if you set Revan to dark side.
  22. Have you been watching Titan AE? Anyway. Malachor: We all know Mal is bad so we are left with "achor" which for my twisted purposes I will shorten down to just "chor". Now what does "chor" sound like? If you said "Core" you get a cookie! So we have a planet named "Bad Core" on which there is an academy which is used for corrupting Jedi. And at the heart of this academy is the Trayus "Core". We know that whenever bad guys talk about converting a good guy to evil they alwasy talk about some little seed of evil deep down in the good guy that just needs to be encouraged to grow and boot the good out the door. Now where do you get seeds? From the "Cores" of fruit! In short we have a planet with a bad core that contains a Sith academy whose heart is called the Trayus "Core" which is presumably where they corrupt good jedi into evil Sith by attacking the heart of thier beliefs or the "Core". I hope that made some sense.
  23. Kriea was more Palpatine like but I think Malak was the more entertaining villian. He had the voice and the style not to mention some neat dialogue right before he dies. Personally I enjoyed Malak as a villian more than with Kriea.
  24. 0 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually I'm pretty sure the exile has the option of saying something similar. In the conversation where Kreia and the Exile talk about the Force on Peragus; the one right before you get your first level up. You can say: "But it doesn't feel like it did.... It feels like it is coming from across a great distance." That's just one example. There are a few others that I don't have the time to search for right now, buried in conversations with Kreia.
  25. I get seamless performance at 4xAA and 4xAF at 1024 on my 9600Pro except in a few rare instances. If there is any kind of dust/fog/smoke in the air I get some slight slowdown. Not bad enough that the game becomes difficult to control but more midly annoying.
