Ultimate Weapon of the Star Wars Kid
Deraldin replied to dufflover's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Wow, I wasn't the only one? I thought things like that were just my luck... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I used it until I had my lightsaber or until I had a few crystals for my saber. Never had any problem hitting anyone with it. Isn't it a dual weapon meaning you need the two weapon fighting feats to use it effectively? -
Because the mods are too busy laughing at us? "

What's Crusader - a console RTS? I only know Crusader: No Remorse/No Regret. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The only Crusdaer I can think of is Stronghold: Crusader which is a PC RTS Castle building sim.

Instead of downloading demos console user get this thing called "renting" which in many ways is better considering many games can be beaten before they have to be returned meaning you can sample the most if not all of the game before you decided to buy. Meanwhile us PC users get demos which limit playing to maybe one or two levels of the game with about 1 hour of playtime for a single playthrough. If you want to play the entire game you need to purchase it.

Somethings will occasionally make me feel bad like when taking the bones from that lady on Tatooine in KOTOR 1 and then telling her that it was a fake always made me feel bad, or having Zaalbar kill Mission. However there are times when it is alot of fun like the two thugs on Nar Shaada that can be force persuaded to jump over the edge. "

Agreed, however that doesn't change the fact that I can listen to Dare all day long but can't stand listening to The Touch more than 2 or 3 times at a time.

Those were my favourites. I remember the one ending in the Ninja book is you get captured and basically hypnotized by the ninja clan and trained to become assassins before they sent you home to await thier command to eliminate the leaders of your country paving the way for Ninja World Domination. The monster one I believe also had a scene where you discovered that when you were in trouble time would stop and you could go rob a bank. The guards would pull guns on you and time would freeze allowing you to loot at will. "

I always prefered Dare to The Touch. Sometimes when your hopes have all been shattered And there's nowhere to turn You wonder how you keep going Think of all the things that really mattered And the chances you've earned The fire in your heart is growing You can fly, if you try leaving the past behind Heaven only knows what you might find Dare - dare to believe you can survive You hold the future in your hand Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive It's time to take a stand And you can win, if you dare Everybody's trying to break your spirit Keeping you down Seems like it's been forever But there's another voice if you'll just hear it Saying it's the last round Looks like it's now or never Out of the darkness you stumble into the light Fighting for the things you know are right Dare - dare to believe you can survive The power is there at your command Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive It's time to take a stand And you can win, if you dare Dare - dare to believe you can survive You hold the future in your hand Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive The power is there at your command Dare - dare to keep all your love alive Dare to be all you can be Dare - 'cause there is a place where dreams survive And it's calling you on to victory

You missed my point. They are clones. They all look exactly the same.
-
How do you know that that is the clone that ends up shooting her in the back. I mean they are clones. It could have been another random clone not shown in the picture. "

It's from the transformers movie when the Dinobots meet up with Wheelie before they go off and rescue Kup and Hot Rod. That's where the pictures were from. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go watch the movie again for like the 1000th time. "
-
I feel so much better now.
-
How insulting. At least Wheelie was cool. :'(
-
No problem Wheelie - I mean DL. "

Which console are you signing up for?
Deraldin replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Computer and Console
Out of all three I like the look of the Revolution the best, although I doubt I'll be getting any of the three. If I did it would be the Revolution though. Still haven't seen the controller for it though. Most of the games that I want to play that have come out on the Xbox have also come out on the PC and I'm guessing it will probably be the same with the 360. I've never really been all that interested in the Playstation line-up so that's out. -
Too late. is here.

Which is better? PC or Xbox Kotor?
Deraldin replied to Mephisto's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Depends on the type of game. Some genres just really don't translate well onto a console. RTS games for example. IMO the best games to play on a console are sports and fighting games. -
Works quite well with a Jedi Weaponmaster who can one-round-one-kill the Hssiss. "
-
No. You must be level 15.
-
You must be lucky then. Although I think the worst I've ever had was a Roman Legionary kill a Mech Infantry.

You only got the massive corruption if you had passed the map size's optimal city number which turned all your citizens in any new cities into damned dirty thieves. On a standard size map the city number was only like 30 or so cities. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You got massive corruption if you tried to build a city far away from your capital and forbidden palace too, whether you had exceeded the limit or not. Compund that with all the things which are continent based in Civ, and island based civilisations are placed at a huge disadvantage. If you were playing England on one of the player-made Earth maps, this became a *real* bitch if you tried to do anything like the colonisation it historically did. Want a city in South Africa? No problem, as long as you don't mind your harbor being finished in 2050. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was commenting on you remark about building a few squares away. Generally the distance corruption wasn't as bad because with the exception of mayble island maps most of your cities would be fairly close together or maybe I'm the only one that clusters my cities as close as I can get them without overlapping worked tiles.

I agree. Pollution wasn't so bad but that corruption that limits you to 30 or so cities that can do something beyond just enlarging your cultural border was annoying. I ended up changing some values so that you can get a much larger amount of cities before have to worry about crippling corruption because of your number of cities. Distance corupption was fine though.

I went to see it right after school. Got home just over an hour ago. Enjoyed the movie immensly. I'll definatly be going to see it multiple times. My brother doesn't know that I've seen it yet.

You can't build any others but you will find others throughout the game.
