Well, if you play on ditching the GTX's for some Ultras (Or 3-way SLI'd GT/GTS512's) I know someone that could use the GTX's. Come to think of it, if you want to go for that quad core, I think the same person could use your dual core.

I swear some of those critics are trying to look at the plot. I didn't go to see a plot. I went to see predators and aliens beating the crap out of each other and that's what I got. On that count it was much better than the first one.

I'm seriously wanting to steal the CPU from my dad's computer. He has a P4 2.4C Northwood in that Dell of his.

What changes does that patch make? Gameplay changes? Or just bug fixes? It forces the game to use Shader Model 2.0 instead of 3.0 so that it will run on older hardware (Back to Radeon 9x00 series). Unfortunately it appears that my computer is just too slow to play the game well. Got into a fight with some splicers near the beginning and because it was chugging so much I couldn't target them properly so I quickly died. Load times >5 minutes (side effect of the SM2.0 patch) are a little meh, but if the actual game ran well enough I could put up with it. This one will have to wait a little longer it seems.

I'm attempting to play Bioshock with the SM2.0 "fan patch" thing. It works, but everything is a little dark.

I just finished clearing the huge snowbanks at the end of 4different driveways thanks to the plow that came through a couple hours ago. The smallest bank was about 2.5'x3'x20'. Someone gave me double my normal rate just to clear the end of her driveway. Did an extra thorough job on her driveway for that. Also cleared the driveway of the neighbour who couldn't get out yesterday. Apparently he managed it this morning though. Hope he went to get some snow tires. I still have two more driveway to clear, but I think I'll be taking a short break first. I should have used the snowblower...

Snow storm went through our area yesterday too. Spent about an hour trying to dig our neighbour out of his driveway after he got himself stuck. He tried to drive out through 1+ feet of snow with all season tires. Ended up sliding into the 3 foot tall snowbank on one side of his driveway. We eventually gave up on him. Just couldn't get any traction at all with those tires. Didn't help that the bottom inch of snow is actually ice from the freezing rain we got a month ago that I haven't been able to clear. He called CAA later in the evening. The tow truck managed to get him out of his driveway, but he still had no traction so ended up stuck spinning his tires in the middle of the road. Ended up pushing him back into the driveway and calling it a night.

I'm playing Advance Wars Dual Strike. Finally managed to find a copy of it the other day. I really hate the stupid dual strike powers. The two turns in a row is so very overpowered.

About the first part part. I thought they did a pretty good job of that actually. What would you have liked to see them add on that? On the second point, I noticed that too. It was kinda odd that they didn't go into that any more than they did. I assumed that it had to do with

I absolutely hate this thing and it has caused me to lose large amounts of work several times. I have the auto update set to go off around 2am, but because I'm a horrible, horrible slacker, that's when I do most of my assignments for Uni. Several times I've done like Gorth says and have been typing away when the pop-up comes around and immediately rebooted thanks to an errant keystroke. More often than not though it will appear just as I look away to write something down on paper and don't notice that it's popped up until it's restarted my computer.
