My little brother picked up Super Mario Galaxy last night with his Christmas gift cards. I've been playing that in between bouts of Advance Wars Days of Ruin. I've got 39 stars in Mario and I'm on the last campaign mission in Advance Wars.

Ouch. That has to suck.

Wow. Alfredsson just vaulted himself into first place in points overall. He had 7 points (3 goals, 4 assists) tonight against Tampa Bay, while Lecavalier was held off the score sheet. EDIT: TSN seems confused. 3 goals, 4 assists, but somehow he has 6 points tonight?

I'd be more excited if my computer wasn't so completely crappy. That card has more processing power than every item in my tower put together. I wonder how much longer we'll be getting AGP version of these cards.

What does this have to do with the Fox News story? I agree, the guy apologized and that's great, but the story is still hitting major news stations despite huge inaccuracies. I don't care if it's a liberal or a conservative, it's ridiculous that gaming is blamed for so many of societies woes, and it's insulting that they air these stories without a shred of evidence or research. well supposedly EA (I think) finially sent a nasty letter to Fox News requesting that Fox retract their story and state the facts. uhh... I feel bad for Boston fans tonight. They were absolutely shelled by Montreal tonight. Final score was 8-2. Boston outshot Montreal 31 to 24, but most were from the outside with zero traffic. Montreal's checking line scored 13 seconds into the game and managed to score their 4th goal with 1.1 seconds left in the first.

Of those currently sitting behind 8th in the East, Toronto currently has a game in hand on Atlanta, tied with Florida, is three games up on Washington and two games up on Buffalo. They are also two games up on everyone that is sitting in 4th through 8th place. Of the teams out of contention, Washington seems to be making a push as they have gone 7-2-1 in their last ten. Atlanta is the only other team not in contention to have made .500 in the past ten (4-4-2). Edmonton has it a little tougher as they are currently 1-5 games ahead of the teams it is chasing and everyone of them except Vancouver and Chicago has been playing above .500 in the last ten.

I knew what it was. I snagged a copy of Justice for All for $15 today, so I'm currently playing that. In between play sessions of that I'll probably try out VtMB since Steam finally decided to let me download the other half of it. It was stuck at 55% for the past two days.

I went out early this morning and snagged a Wii for my little brother. It was supposed to be a christmas gift, but I really don't think he'll mind it being a little late.

The final handgun isn't bad. 150 damage or so with a decent fire rate. Only problem is the crippling finger pain from having to click so much. Rockets are lots of fun. Shoot one right at your feet and it will destroy everything on the screen and a little ways off. With maybe 6 rockets I killed 90% of the enemies in the final room. It's fun firing on off and seeing your kill count jump by 200. Requires a backup weapon for the boss though because it's rate of fire is just so amazing slow. Still, 3500 damage minimum per hit with such a large area of effect, is nothing to sneeze at.

Oh god. Just finished playing that game on easy. That's a lot of monsters and I was only playing on easy! Ended up using machine guns for almost the entire game. My machine gun skill was 115 by the time I finished after you took into account the implants I was using as well. The top machine gun dealth 180-210 damage with a massive rate of fire. Once you pick up the Volcano you can pretty much run straight at a mob of any size of anything smaller than the rocket launchers and not have anyone come near you. Wow, 115 is pretty high. My weapon of choice was shotgun and my shotgun skill was 65 without using any implant whatsoever. At the start of the last level my skill level was at 55 without implants. I just tossed everything that I gained on that level into it and managed to get it to 115(90) by the time I finished. I just tested out some of the other weapons. The top end shotgun is pretty good. Great damage and a good spread would make it an awesome weapon for running through mobs. The Ion Cannon isn't bad, but it's rate of fire could be better. I haven't tried rockets yet.

That all depends upon how fast you beat the boss. I only ended up with 1000 bodies in the room by the time I managed to get rid of the last of the re-inforcements. The complex with the truck inside had nearly three times as many bodies. My final score. I was too busy fighting massive slowdowns during the fights to get any good shots of them.

I just completed runs of both The Longest Journey and Dreamfall. I have to say, I really much preferred TLJ over Dreamfall. Dreamfall feels like a long episodic game because it really only wraps up maybe one plot line out of a half dozen. As I'm going through the last couple chapters, I'm constantly thinking, "They can't be ending it here."

They aren't saying anything about Spezza being out for any time though. Hey, Mkreku, mind if we borrow Sundin for awhile? Not like you need him anyway what with you going to miss the playoffs again this year. :D
