I've got a question for you Kor. Do you have stupid people there that don't seem to wear hats and/or gloves no matter what the temperature? I ask because it was -20 this morning with a -30 some windchill and it was amazing the number of people I saw walking around without hats and gloves.

I just finished helping to clear out several driveways on our street. We were hit pretty hard with some major snowfall last night. Over the past 36 hours we've received a good 1.5-2 feet of snow with most of it coming in the past 12 hours. As a bonus, uni is closed today so no test for me! :D

Not to interrupt this fascinating discussion about gnomes (personally, I can't stand them) but...

I don't normally play this many games at once, but in the past 2 weeks I've picked up 7 games. Thankfully none of them was over $30 because of gift cards. On Thursday I have a copy of No More Heroes coming to me and I've just barely been able to hold the urge to buy Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn at bay.

I've got that beaten. I currently (all have been played in the last 48 hours) have games going in Super Mario Galaxy (61 stars and counting) Zack and Wiki (Just picked this up today) Command and Conquer 3 (Installed it again for my little brother and decided to take another run through myself) Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (On the last mission of the campaign. I absolutely hate AOE attacks) Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations (Also purchased today) Z&W and PW:T&T both had recent price drops so I figured now was as good a time as any to pick them up. :D

Which Croatia mission were you having trouble with? If I had to guess I'd say the low power base defence mission. I just re-installed the game for my brother to play and I'm considering another run. That level is supposedly easy if you constantly unpower everything you don't need and repower them as needed, like anti-air systems for instance. And anyway, GDI is better off using missile squads and pitbulls for anti-air, their emplacement turrets are abysmal compared to Nod's. Pretty much. It's even easier if you destroy the northeast base early on before they really start attack you. If you manage that then you can power down the northern turrets and keep everything else on.

Also, if you don't want something that will be obsolete in 6-9 months then why are you planning on buying a computer? Wow, I feel better already! Well, I like to think that my above mentioned pc actually did quite well for a number of years (about 4.5 years?). I would like my next investment to also last a bit. I told you it would work! Heh, mine will be 6 years old this October. It's run everything I've wanted it to until the past 6 months. Just because it's obsolete, doesn't mean that it doesn't work. :D

Aw, single-handedly beaten by Ovechkin. 5 point night for Ovechkin with 4 goals and 1 assist. Final score was 5-4 in overtime over Montreal. At least they managed to salvage a point from what was apparently a very poor game for the Habs. EDIT: Watching the TSN highlights it looks like the refs robbed the Leafs of a win tonight. Possible high stick goal by Carolina counted. Blake's goal just inside the post waved off...

I just got back from Uni. It's damn cold out there. I'm pretty sure that the weather channel lies. They say it's only -7 (Feels like -23 with the windchill) but I'm sure it felt colder than that. Waiting for the bus in a constant 60km/h freezing cold winds sucks.
