  1. Apparently if you hide by the bumper cars you don't get swarmed so badly. Like an idiot I stayed right next to my buddy. I was crouching just behind the hill so that I could go prone and be completely covered from enemy fire. It only took me a couple tries to get through the first half, but it was the second part after that really got me. It took a few tries to get the timing down so that I knew which enemies to take down in which order. I managed to make it through the beginning of the level only dying once. I've only died to exploding vehicles twice so far. The first time was because I hadn't realized they would explode. The second was because I turned around to shoot someone who popped up behind me and while I waited for my health to come back after I killed him, the car exploded. My deaths have been surprisingly evenly split between grenades and bullets. Most of my bullet related deaths have been from not watching my back. The computer AI is surprisingly inept when it comes to watching your back. After all the guys that I've saved, you'd think that they would return the favour ever now and then...
  2. Alfie scored the tying goal and an empty netter. Neil scored the game winner. I suppose the bright side here is that at least Montreal is only losing 1 goal leads late in the third instead of 3 goal leads.
  3. That was a great level, although I agree that the end battle was just amazingly frustrating. It took me over 20 tries to beat it on Regular. I'm working through again on Hardened. Some areas are harder, some are easier, and some are Ferris Wheel level difficult. The TV station kicked my ass repeatedly. It was an "enemies throw flashbangs too?!" discovery.
  4. Crap. Montreal loses 3-1. Another game lost in the last 5 minutes. Why do they always have horrible luck when they are playing their best? So many amazing chances and none of them went in. At least Huet was awarded the second star.
  5. Aaron Ward has just gone down in the Montreal-Boston game. He was turning around when he collided with Francis Boullion who had just come out of the penalty box to end a Boston 5-on-3. Ward lay on the ice for awhile before he got up and was helped back to the dressing room. Sure hope he's okay. And now Montreal has won the game by a final score of 2-1.
  6. Considering how much effort they took to build in the first place, how badly have they been nerfed.
  7. I'm having trouble deciding who is having the most fun here, mkreku, or Kor. :D
  8. Well, at least the Oilers managed to pick up a point tonight...
  9. What would you change about the controls?
  10. I just finished playing "Abe Lincoln Must Die!" and had a blast doing it. I really don't know why I have yet to try these games, but Season one is now on my Christmas list.
  11. So mkreku, the Leafs have finally scored a powerplay goal against the Senators! Too bad they are still down by 3.
  12. Haha, I watched Corner Gas once it was 3-0. So you missed Edmonton actually score on Backstrom?
  13. Contra 4 Only another 8 days.
  14. Ottawa now has a seven game winning streak. They won 2-1 tonight over Boston in a shootout. Alfredsson and Vermette both scored on their attempts and Gerber stopped Kobasew and Kessel.
  15. Alright. WTF is going on with Pascal Leclaire? 5 shutouts in 9 games!? O.o
  16. I wonder if I can struggle through sub 5FPS to get screenshots for this...
  17. It's only spying on the board index.
  18. What is it with Edmonton and defensemen injuries this season?
  19. I'm sure he'll be the one to die first in every game.
  20. If you people start playing Worms on live, that's just going to make my next month while I wait for my refund cheque that much worse. Curse you university administration! Why must it take so long for me to get my cheque?!
  21. I apparently have a very selective memory. CBC tells me that the Canadiens are 5-1-1 in their last 7 home games against the Leafs.
  22. Bah. It's not so bad right now because there were two Montreal games on TSN this week (or was one last week?). But usually the only time I get to see Montreal play is when they face the Leafs on a Saturday and they always seem to lose those games.
  23. Why can't Montreal ever win against Toronto on Saturday nights?
  24. That's what I was hoping for when I opened the thread. I'm disappointed.
  25. WTF? Why is Google spying on us?
