So, for example, getting whipped gives pleasure to some people, hence they pay money for it, and hence it is worth something to them.

^ I have to agree. Except for Starcraft. It wasn't bad. Of course, all these games sold like hotcakes, which makes it a bit hard to criticize Blizzard. My beef with them is that their last truly innovative game was Lost Vikings.

What's the best place to go to get mods and other stuff for Silent Storm?

This is all very, very impressive. Especially the bit about destructible buildings. Does the game have any gameplay faults?

Kohan (1 or 2) is a great RTS most people haven't played.

I voted SNES because it is the only console I've ever owned. I didn't vote PC because it isn't a gaming console. But I guess you already knew that.

Making a movie out of a game with no story whatsoever is a pretty idiotic idea. How anyone thought this could be a good movie is beyond me.
