  1. Only in Europe. Sucks to be American.
  2. It should come out on Friday all across Europe.
  3. 2 Days in Paris Quite funny, although I felt it fell a bit flat in the end. Daniel Bruhl's scene was great. Go go Julie Delpy!
  4. I don't think the problem is a question of unequal footing between teacher and student. For me the issue is that most girls are brought up to be wary of sex while boys are brought up to be more open and more aggressive about sex. This makes the situation completely different when it's a male student rather than a female one. While for a male teen, consensual sex with someone older might healthy, and even a major self confidence boost, for a female teen, it brings with it a much bigger and more dangerous load of emotional baggage. Of course, these issues will likely be exacerbated by the teacher's position but, again, those issues are a direct consequence of the child's mores. I hope this doesn't make me sound like I support child molesting, or something.

  6. QOTSA - Regular John
  7. Well, when I was 15 there were a couple of my teachers I wouldn't have minded having sex with. Anyway, this isn't a problem of the court's or the media's double standard but rather a question of general sexual mores. Meaning, if a father discovered his 15 year old son was having sex with a hot teacher he'd probably feel proud of the kid, while if it was a 15 year old daughter the dad would've have wanted to take the teacher down for taking away his daughter's "innocence".
  8. Yeah, and in that scene he had just come in from outside. And then he tells his mom to leave immediately.
  9. C'mon, he clearly dropped the picture in the newspaper.
  10. Check Ando and Sulu's first scene closely. Also, I can't wait to find out what's the real meaning of the symbol.
  11. My bad.
  12. As opposed to keeping your finger on the A button while you're looking at something else?
  13. While I've only played a little bit of FF XII, I'm betting that in it you also get nice rewards at the end of boss fights. As for the nice story scenes, most of them were also long stretches of exposition featuring not the deepest of characters. Don't get me wrong, I loved a few of the Final Fantasies back in the day, but they were never a whole lot more than what Tale described. I'm playing NWN2 right now.
  14. Smack The Pony
  15. That reminds me of an awesome Smack The Pony sketch.
  16. "Birthdays" are the days people celebrate annually, because it was on that date that they originally began to die. Edit: Oh, and congratulations for the grownup Link.
  17. Don't worry, the game, like all SNES Final Fantasies, is easy. It's just a question of leveling up enough. That's the problem. "leveling up enough" = doing cummy sidequests You call running left and right, waiting for the random fights, while pressing A continuously a side quest? I hope you meant crummy... Sounds like every other Final Fantasy game to me.
  18. Actually it makes a lot of sense. If you think of the sort of environments, weapons, gameplay etc that a CIA game would involve, it is the sort of thing that is best suited for consoles. It is also likely that it will have real time combat (or a system similar to KOTOR) and either 1st or 3rd person perspective. Because real time in a 1st person perspective is best suited for consoles. Or not.

  20. Aaaand.... I'm done.
  21. Game reviewers are about as trustworthy as someone not trustworthy at all.
  22. Mmhmm... Beals....
  23. The Bourne Ultimatum. Great, with sweet action scenes. I think the Bourne series is easily the best you can get in action movies in the past few years.
