  1. Fun is shooting and hitting your enemy all the way across the map with the Gauss Rifle when you know that a miss will leave you helpless.
  2. By the way, I can edit the poll if you wish.
  3. Hey, change me to a human Dex fighter. And how can Kirottu be a Half Orc Barbarian? He should be like a gnome cleric/thief with gender issues and a filthy mind. Also, shouldn't we pick only Obsidianites that aren't in the other LP?
  4. You could try learning how to play them. If you button mash, unless you're playing on very easy, you won't get very far.
  5. I'd just like to say that a full blown RPG with DMC4 like gameplay is a sort of game I've been waiting for, for years. So hell yeah. The only thing that worries me is that Nathaniel seems to be saying that you can play the game with a console interface or a PC interface, thus having a radically different gameplay experience. I mean when I was playing DMC4 (on the PC) I was using a gamepad, which enabled the best control of the characters. On the other hand, when I play a PC action RPG, really, the only way to have a smooth experience is with a mouse and keyboard. So my point is that if you're going to accommodate two radically different gameplay experiences in the same game one of them is very likely to suffer. Assuage my concerns quickly, Nathaniel. Please.
  6. I'm enjoying this in a lurky fashion.
  7. "Poll suggests 1 in 5 Americans cannot make simple factual assessments." Poll suggests 1 in 5 Americans are, at best, average human beings. Not too bad, I'd say.
  8. I really, really hope it's like that. A dialogue based RPG with Devil May Cry action gameplay would be dreamy.
  9. Alien Swarm with Pop and two other guys. Good fun, although I have to get a proper headset.
  10. It has a bunch of cool characters and the vampires are vampires instead of emo boys for teens. I find it quite sexy and gory, well written, and with an ok plot. Some plotlines are better than others but that's what happens in these sorts of shows. Jason Stackhouse, Eric Northman, and Lafayette are all really great characters.
  11. The temperatures have been around 40
  12. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lasagna Wikipedia tells me that's an urban legend. Hah!
  13. Well, yeah. But I got the game with a nice discount from Gamersgate.
  14. Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about. No finesse.
  15. Well, yeah, the Spaniards like eating in small portions, but good tapas are still much better food than anything England ever made up.
  16. I finally got Assassin's Creed 2 to work, yesterday, after wrangling for a few days with Ubisoft's tech support. This first bit of advice kind of shocked me: "Your antivirus and firewall needs to be OFF, if not downright uninstalled. Exceptions are not good enough."
  17. Different tastes and all but; no. British food, like most Northern European food comes from a grease based, sledgehammer style sort of brutish cooking.
  18. Yes, because when I think of good food and excellent weather I automatically think of Scotland. I don't know what you've done to Pidesco, but it must be something bloody terrible to make him try and trick you into moving to Scotland. I didn't say that Scotland has good weather and good food. The whole of the UK suffers from those problems. Scotland just has some mitigating factors, like the beautiful cities, the wonderful castles, the whisky, the highlands, and the kickass dialect.
  19. I forgot to mention that the people are ugly too. Oh, and I think you can drive from Ireland to Paris in a day. Pick a Scandinavian country, instead. Everyone there speaks English, people are prettier, the quality of life is above and beyond what you can find in the UK, and the weather really isn't any worse.
  20. I'm not a Brit, but still I'm going to chime in and point out a couple of things: the food is bloody awful, life there is fairly expensive, and finally the weather is awful. With all that being said, within the UK I'd recommend Scotland to live in. Oh, and why not move to Ireland, instead?
