  1. You are thinking of Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor.
  2. If an Eastern European gamer making, say, $400 a month, buys a $1000 PC, he will probably be doing so through a small loan paid over 2 years with an interest rate of at least 20%. Which means that he will be paying at first, some 50$ out of his monthly income in the first year. Now, it's not unreasonable to suppose that this gamer will spend $300 a month in various expenses, including rent, food, phone, gas, electricity, water and transportation. Now, how does this gamer play games on his $1000 PC? He pirates them. Now, I said Eastern European, but I could have said South American, Southeast Asian, or Southern European. These are huge markets and games simply aren't priced to be sold there at all.
  3. It's a huge loss, but it's not a loss of 50

Titus Andronicus - The Monitor Damn good.
  6. I don't recall the airport area being a corridor. Or Hell's Kitchen. Or other areas I can't remember, right now.
  7. Or perhaps the return of Deus Ex 2. Actually, I'm willing to bet it will be like the first Deus Ex, except all the locations are "cleverly" disguised corridors. End of last thread.

  11. Start of old thread End of old thread Conversation resumes here. Unfortunately, I have barely had time to play New Vegas. Real life is encroaching on my game time.

  13. Start of old thread End of old thread I've preordered The Witcher 2 while at work, and decided on the place I'm going to rent. It's right next to Lisbon's medieval castle. Woot.

  15. Portugal doesn't have siestas, so come visit us, instead. Also, no annoying Spaniards to be found here.
  16. In Portugal and Spain, like in the rest of Europe there are plenty of cities that are worth a visit. Lisbon, Oporto, And Guimar
  17. No. That would be DMC.
  18. Zonealarm is the one I've used recently. It works well enough. Comodo is also good.
  19. It's a dumb third person actioner with horrible art and plot. You are War, one of the four horsemen of Apocalypse, tasked with collecting the souls of cars, trees and parking meters in order to become stronger and defeat generic evil. It's loads of hectic fun so far.
  20. Nero does this.
  21. Jerk Gustafsson? I never saw that name when I was in Sweden.
  22. Hooray for Eldar!
  23. By the bugs being described, it seems to be as buggy as Fallout 3 and Oblivion. So pretty buggy. Edit: Actually there are two extra bugs that weren't in the previous Gamebryo Bethesda games. One is the NPC slowdown bug which was introduced recently by a NVIDIA driver release, The other one is the save game bug which was caused by a problem with Steam cloud.
  24. I'd be surprised if New Vegas didn't become Obsidian's best selling game so far. It must be over 1 million in pre-orders alone.
