I wrote a little on another forum about this... see if I can copy and paste... http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57891646...0B11C55D76EDE2/ With a little bit of time on my hands and the release of a new MMO, I decided to try it out. After putting in a few hours in here and there, I'd have to say that it's been good so far. It's not that it brings something extremely new to the table, but the release, from what I have seen, has been pretty smooth so far. It appears that the development team took a look at a lot of different MMOs out there, namely WoW, for a huge inspiration, and decided to dump all the features they could into the game. A couple features that I find pretty damn cool are the dynamic events that take place periodically throughout your travels. Such as, you could be running back and forth doing quests here and there, when all of a sudden, a rift opens up along the way. You can either bypass the rift itself, or try to tackle it by taking out all the respective enemies throughout each stage, whether you're alone or with a group. While coming upon a rift, there may be people already completing stages, but all you have to do is click the "join public group" button and start bashing heads and soon enough, when everything's been completed, you'll receive your percentage of the final reward depending on how much you put into it. There are also other long standing events where the enemy takes a "foothold" of a area which they'll keep until you, or someone else take it back, giving you more xp and loot. These are persistant. Another cool feature is the way the class system is done. It sort of reminds of the Titan Quest, but in a better way. Instead of two classes(souls), you're picking three. In the beginning of the game, you choose between four classes being: Warrior: Cleric: Mage, and Rogue. From there, within the starting area, you'll pick up 3 souls within that class out of a possible 8-9 I believe. So if you chose Rogue, you could go: Assassin/Blade Dancer/Riftstalker which each soul having their own unique abilities to add to the skill bar. Which means, from early on, you'll have a whole selection of abilities to use at your disposal. For my first character, I went Warrior with souls consisting of Paragon/Paladin/Riftblade which has been a good combination. Paladin provides a few defense abilities while Paragon and Riftblade are all out offense. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/57891646...F0E3AC721467FB/ After playing around with the Warrior, and realizing the potential for the amount and differentiating classes, I can't wait to try out a different combination. I'm at Level 16 so far, but haven't taken screens for awhile so this is my warrior at level. Thanks to steam for the ability to take screenshots. For those of you who use steam, try this feature because it's pretty damn nifty. I believe everyone gets around a gb of space, so that's pretty nice. Anyway, the game has the regular gambit of features, and so far, everything's run pretty smoothly. I don't want to compare it to any other MMOs, but I will say, so far, it's got my attention. Now, I realize you're thinking, hey, it's only the 4th day it's been released and you've only been playing for 3 and I would say you're right. I definitely haven't seen a small percentage of what this game has to offer, including the PvP component, but so far, it's been nice. Smooth looking interface, easy to use, but I will say there are a couple components I'm still trying to figure out, including Planar Charges, but I will figure that out soon enough. Right now, I'm on a low population server, which has been a nice way to learn the mechanics of the game, but I do look forward to the further populating of the servers to create larger, more agreesive dynamic events to participate in. The rift openings have been a nice distraction from the questing, and the environment created by the opening of the rifts have been well designed. I do notice that groups are easily formed during the events which make it easier and keeps it fair when trying to help out and I truly look forward to creating more characters under this dynamic class system since it affords such openess to character creation. And, unlike other games, I look forward to the PvP. But, although it may sound like I'm gushing about the game, I want to reserve complete judgement. I see that the game has gotten off to a good start (smooth launch), and may bring along some new features, but it also carries some of most MMOs annoyances including a good amount of fetch quests, but we'll see where it goes from here. Sorry for the way the pics are linked, couldn't figure out how to get them to show properly Plan to write up a little more as I'm now level 22

That's definitely not exciting to hear about Two Worlds 2, since I'm coming on 19 hours and just started the swamp area.
-
I really enjoyed the entirety of the game. I thought the combat was decent, graphics were great, storyline was pretty good, and the overall gameplay was fun. I think it was a good representation of what Castlevania could be in 3D.

What happened? In Chapter 2, there's a part of the quest line, where if you talk to a couple people in the wrong order, it'll not unlock the next portion of the quest in two different instances. I found out that other people have had the problem as well on the forums here.... Two Worlds 2 Single Player Quest Forums I have quite a few saves, but after going through a bunch of them, I believe they're all after this point, so I need to scrap that character because it hasn't been patched yet. The problem I came to was, I could find Angie to speak to again (and I've checked all over town), and David's package I needed to pick up wasn't where it was located on the map.

I started my Two Worlds 2 game over, due to a main quest stopping buy about half way through the 2nd chapter, which equals about 15 hours of playtime, but hey, what do you do? Just cross your fingers it doesn't happen again.

I second that, I think I'm on chapter 7. Having a great time.

Lately, been playing a little Dead Space 2 and Sacred 2: Gold Edition with Community Pack. Not the most recent picture, but it'll do. Going the Shadow Warrior Dark Campaign route. He's currently at Level 40. I just love the mass amounts of loot and set pieces in this game. Yeah, it took a little bit to get it running on Windows 7, but now it's been great and just a game to tool around in looking for loot.

I went through the demo a few times. Gameplay is good, I just wonder how quickly it will get old?
-
I've noticed this so far as well, but I'm only through a good portion of chapter 3. The combat is decent because of the weapons and stasis and the game does look good, but I really hope they start to institute something new to the equation. But I will say that the environments do look really nice.

I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed Just Cause 2. Was it the game of the year? No, but I can easily go back into it for 5 minutes to an hour to mess around with the gigantic world. That's what makes it fun.
-
I played it quite a bit and have moved over the pc as of late and am still enjoying it quite a bit. Definitely a better community online and for that price, it's easily worth it.
-
Wait, they're still using the Gamebryo engine? Why wouldn't they want to move away from an engine where they can't even program AI that can use ladders. And yes, after playing Two Worlds 2, it'll be somewhat difficult to go back to that engine for a game, although I'm enjoying my time with FNV
-
I agree and also to take reactions from people you trust instead of just the people who go crazy for graphics and something new.
-
I have to say that I enjoyed it for the entire campaign, but I also read the book previous to playing it, and could imagine what the developers were trying to construct and the atmosphere they were trying to create. If anything, read the book.

I'll take one if you still have one.

So, who around here hasn't played Deus Ex yet? To be honest, I haven't which is odd because I've always have been meaning to do so. I haven't played Puzzle Quest 2 either, is that a good title?

Actually, what did you pay for Two Worlds 2 on Gamersgate? They want 45

Did you preorder from gogamer? I had a preorder from them, but they kept delaying the release and so I found out about Gamersgate and went with. I also started hearing all standard versions of the game, excluding the royal and premium edition, were only in German, so I was worried that Gogamer's copy was only in German. I did email them again and they stated they only sell English copies, but I had already downloaded it from Gamersgate which took an hour, so I ended up canceling the order. Typically I like to have a box copy, but lately, that hasn't mattered to me much as I buy more and more games off of Steam and such.

I've only put in a couple hours but I've been enjoying it so far. Playing on medium and definitely finding myself in places where I shouldn't be because of being too low level. The combat is nice. I enjoy the aspect of crafting and spell making, from what I've done so far. Just nice to have an open world to explore, with so many RPGs going the route of different sections. I believe Reality Pump did a fine job with the engine as well as the game looks amazing and runs extremely smooth. I'll give more impressions as I put more time into it. Those not wanting to wait, you can purchase the game through gamersgate, with setting up a proxy, if you live outside mainland Europe like I do. Not too hard, someone on the Two Worlds 2 forums explained it and I went ahead and bought it since it was delayed here in the US.

Got Two Worlds 2 through Gamersgate yesterday and have put in some time in between having to work a ton, but having a really good time.
-
I just purchased that myself off of steam. Since downloading it yesterday, I've already put in about 13 hours and have enjoyed it so far. Just messing around with it, till Two Worlds 2 releases. Answer me this: Does Two Worlds 2 have flipping? No, I don't believe it has flipping I like this game for what it is. Not necessarily open-world, but just enough to hold me over to my copy of 2W2 comes, and hopefully that's either by the end of next week or the one thereafter.

I'm annoyed by the delay as well, but lucky enough, I ordered my copy from gogamer.com because I live in the US. I really can't wait for this title and hope that I get it soon enough. This game is looking awesome. Anyway not wanting to wait for January, I'd suggest gogamer as it's pretty cheap to get imports from that place. Not trying to pump the site, but wanting to help those who want the game. It still has a release date of October 22nd, so I'm hoping as well that it ships early.

I have a question, I'm at the year approximately 1935 A.D. and am running into the problem of each turn finding out that a lot of my cities are starting to starve. Each turn I can't seem to keep my food production in my cities above 1 and I'm running out of reasons why that I can think of? How do I keep control of my food? I've tried setting my default production to food, but it's late game. Also, should I be annexing or puppeting each city I take over? My gold per turn (profit) is also trimming down as well. Would appreciate any help. I've pretty much built all the buildings needed to extend the food production like granaries and such.
