  1. Hadn't seen anyone mention this recent news of the kickstarter for a Shadowrun sequel located here http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1613260297/shadowrun-returns I realize with all the recent news of kickstarters beginning which might end up causing kickstarter fatigue, I for one, am excited for this one as well and wanted to see if anyone else was that frequented these forums.
  2. Lucky, I'm still waiting a key
  3. I'm dividing my time between Reckoning and Skyrim. Have about 38 hours into Skyrim so far and about 13 into KOA and it's getting harder to choose which one to spend my limited time on. Both have their strengths and weaknesses for sure, but we'll see what happens I guess.
  4. Please let us know if you can actually go to those levels without getting slaughtered, because I feel like if I were to go to one of those areas, and then come back and finish another area, the area will just be a piece of cake. I'm on hard difficulty right now and feel that the game is a little on the easy side as of right now, but I know I'm only at level 15 or so, so I'm sure it'll ramp up soon enough.
  5. Seconded. Seriously, this game is a blast with the gamepad. I can't even imagine playing a game like this with a K&M. Same as Batman: AC, but I know people do, but I just believe the gameplay is supported by the gamepad so well. I do wish that the FOV wasn't so close. I'm not getting sick from it, however just wish I could see more of the world around me. I think I'm level 14, at about 9 hours in and am enjoying it so far in the chunks it's presented in, within the different areas.
  6. The loo I restarted after about 2 hours into the game on normal because it was simply too easy. Now, after restarting on hard, I feel like its a better game overall. Combat feels more intense and not every combat encounter is a simple retreat from exploring. the loot is pretty decent, as well as the art style, but to be honest, it feels like a single player MMO so far. Now, that's not necessarily a bad thing because I always wondered what WoW would be like as a single player game and I believe its good enough but your actions certainly don't garner reactions from those around you. Overall, it's been a fun game though with fun combat, decent exploration, and good loot.
  7. I've only been able to plug a little over an hour into it so far making it to the first town in the demo, but the "hitches" I had in combat in the demo are not there as of yet and the game seems to run smoothly with everything maxed. I have to say that I'm excited to exit the starting area where the demo took place to really get into the nuts and bolts of this game. Seems like it has a ton of content. I also wasn't sure whether to get a console or pc version as I'd like to sit back in the recliner to play, however although the console versions seem to be stable with dealing with bugs, I have read some reviews about framerate issues being prevalent, pop-ins being pretty dramatic and I will agree after playing both demos, the pc version looks much sharper.
  8. Yes. Why? Wanted to check, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to play it on. I know the pc will look the best, but there are some good deals on the console versions, so I hadn't made up my mind and was wondering what route others were going, like steam or retail?
  9. Hey Morgoth, what system are you planning on picking up KOA for? Xbox, PS3, or PC? I assuming PC.
  10. I spent quite a few hours on the pc with Torchlight and have recently purchased it for my Xbox and after about 15 minutes of figuring out the controls, I have to say that it's a great loot game to play on the Xbox where there doesn't appear to be many. Or maybe it's the simpleness of the game that draws my attention.
  11. Lol, I took this exact same picture during my plathrough thinking it looked crazy.
  12. I finally got into the Path of Exile beta and have only put an hour or two into it. Thoughts to follow when work is not pressing. Here's a shot of the skill tree which the developers have taken a different approach to where leveling your character.
  13. Yeah, many people seem to have found the game being too repetitive, but I don
  14. I will concur with Batman for sure and even playing L.A. Noire lately has been really good with a xbox gamepad.
  15. So is this widespread? I saw the update download but haven't played it yet. Figured if everyone was having the problem, I'd hold off until the next patch.
  16. I tend to put more stock in them (German Reviews) for more strategic game and rpg reviews as us Americans tend to like things easy (simple) and handed to us all the time. I enjoyed the past couple of Anno games and look forward to spending some time with this title.
  17. I've been through the campaign once and am about 1/3 the way through it again and am having a good time as well. I'm playing the dwarf since the start. Also, putting in some time with Battlefield 3 and Skyrim, plus a little Saints Row: The Third on the side.
  18. I'm only level 8 right now, so I am still figuring out what I want to excel at, but has it been said how many times you can level up?
  19. Quick question. For a game like this, it it bad to broaden your perk pics across different components? Like I have a usual melee character who always fires from a distance, and uses magic on occasion, so I've been sinking points to mostly all three, I know there's not a wrong way to play, however will my character be lacking later on do you think?
  20. Just started playing, however, for one, the sound is hard to hear, have to turn it up pretty load, but the big issue is sometimes the dialogue will go fuzzy for a quick second, skipping the voice over, but then go back to normal. Does anyone have same issue, or know what may be my problem?
  21. Decrypting as I type. Hurry UP!
  22. I have bought both and don't necessarily agree with this post. I actually enjoy BF3's MP so much more than MW3. While MW3 is fun, it's just a all-for-yourself style of gameplay that gets tarnished because of, while BF3 works off of the squad gameplay and grouping mechanics. Again, I will say that I enjoy both MP games, however BF3 for me is more captivating and more worthwhile, whether it's the squad gameplay, massive 32 vs 32 battles or vehicles, it just seems to put it all together well, as compared to MW3 which seems to literally be MW 2.5.
  23. Thanks for the update although I'm frustrated by the fact that I'll be out of town all weekend:(
  24. I agree and expect preorders to be able to preload by tomorrow. Just need to get past the onslaught of folks who are downloading MW3 still.
  25. I just added you to my friends list HurlShot, and if anyone wants to add me, it's SadExchange410
