Hmmm... I may see this one. I avoided Troy like the plague.. I hate historical innacuracy in movies... I mean I can understand small mistakes and minor embelishing, but from what I hear that movie is a mishmash of a dozen time zones and 2 or 3 stories

Yeah, and Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play is the RPG companion to Warhammer Fantasy Battle. No reason a WH40K RPG wouldn't be possible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually they already made one, I believe it's called Inquisitor.

I think another problem is that they attempted to cover too many bases. SPECIAL Check... REAL TIME DIABLO-COMBAT, HEALTH/MANA SYSTEM and EQUIPMENT SYSTEM Check... Some things aren't meant to be mixed and matched.

Exactly, it's old, it's been done, and it needs to be pushed to the side. Look at how many fantasy games have come out lately, the concept is so boring that companies seem to be trying desperately to come up with new ways to present it... and always come short. Baring Shadowrun... I'd love to see a basic Cyberpunk setting.

Shadowrun Rifts Battletech/Mechwarrior 7th Sea Legend of the Five Rings TORG Earthdawn (though that is fantasy) World of Darkness (Old... Troika has that or new... which seems to suck royally) That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I don't work or have any connection to Obsidian, but I feel I can safely say there's roughly no chance in hell of this happening as Sony probably holds the rights to do all mmo's.
Agreed, I'm sick of fantasy games. Especially DnD... though Eberron "might" be ok since it's "odd" enough. Obsidian should beg Microsoft for the rights to do a Shadowrun game.
