  1. Only because 99 times out of 100 women easily beat men any crying is from disbelief in losing to an inferior opponent
  2. Hmm... this thread's been dead for 4 days.. why not just say "Bump" or something
  3. Looks good
  4. I need a smirking smiley
  5. And here you say you watch Alias. To quote Volourn: You lose.
  6. I thought JJ made that call. BTW, how cool would it have been if they didn't have a "leader". Anyways, they have to deal with his character now. Not to meantion ever promo shot for the show features him and Kate. I doubt he is going anywhere any time soon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kate was supposed to be the leader.
  7. Keep in mind Jack was supposed to die to the creature in the pilot. It was one of the high ups that made them keep him.
  8. Total Survivors 48 (as of Jack informing the Pilot) #49 Pilot... for a few mintues #48 The Marshall who had to be put down #47 The woman who drowned 46 survivors total. I don't think I can simplify it more than that.
  9. #48 was the Marshal that was transporting Kate. Overall an interesting episode, I almost expected "Sawyer" to die based on some of the creator comments I've read.
  10. I tend to agree on all points. Speaking of hobbits.. while I rather liked last weeks episode... I'd prefer the hobbit went back into the background instead of being in the middle of "every" story. I thought this was show about 48... well 47.. well... 46 survivors... not the hobbit.
  11. anyone who would actually want it is sick in the head in my opinion.
  12. I think Sawyer is wanting to be hurt. If you notice in the early episode where everyone got their mail and whatnot, he was reading a letter and almost cried while reading it. I think something happened before the crash and he feels the need to be punished.
  13. I don't see a reason why not. Other places have this I believe.
  14. Oh look, it's Volourn pretending he's a psychic again.
  15. I thought you were a gully dwarf
  16. Omg
  17. Agreed on this. I'm already to the point I just avoid his posts Posts that are too difficult to read aren't worth the effort.
  18. Ahh, I should probably clarify that what gave me a laugh was the clever and hysterically funny essay the woman on EBay wrote... not the Daily Mirror headline, which I found incredibly insulting even to a total Bush-hater like myself. If the world wants Americans to come together as a group, all they need to do is continue to their moronic global insult fest. I'm frankly pretty sick of the arrogance being shown by this kind of garbage, and I doubt I'm the only American who feels that way. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. One thing the rest of the world should have figured out by now, is the best way to get "all americans" on one side is to attack it or it's citizens somehow. And the side they tend to join is the one getting attacked.
  19. oops I'm a little late :">
  20. We have more than one background scheme?

    Not I, sounds painful.
  22. It could happen with a strong enough and popular enough leader. If Bush had been that leader, instead of a wanna-be holy roman emperor... who knows how it could have played out.
  23. I say strait out that I don't have all the facts on his foreign policy, so anything I say now can and might change later if accurate info is supplied. I see it this way. The USA is the "only" remaining Superpower from the "old world" (The USSR is a memory) and as such I think there's a lot of fear and resentment over this fact. I also think a lot of this stems from the fact the USA went against the (in my opinion, horrible) desires of the UN. The UN made resolutions about Iraq, and the US decided to enforce them. Personally I think the UN is more at fault for how things have worked out than anything else. If that makes the US hated for doing what needed to be done, then so be it.
