Have you scanned for virii? I know there are some spyware installing trojans out there. Also there are some forms of adware that lurk in your temp internet files folder, deleting those might kill it too.

And this blind devotion to "it didn't happen unless I was there" approach that science uses is why VAST ammounts of proof is just thrown to the wayside or destroyed outright because it doesn't fit the existing model.

Just because it's traced to him doesn't mean that it doesn't have an older source though. After a few thousand years, a loss of the great library and a dark age... a lot of ancient fact and fiction was lost. It could very well be that he was talking about a real place, or a place made up by him. With equal chances of each.

I wish developers would realize that graphics are a means to move the story and game, not the story/game itself. I've heard that someone is trying to make JA2 mod friendly, with luck they'll succeed and then the user made content will begin (for example)
