  1. I got that one! I got a warm fuzzy feeling inside when I heard, the Pronouncement of Two Deaths as One. I miss the TNO and his companions!
  2. Didn't someone already do this for 360?
  3. Psychonauts is an excellent game. Its a shame that its not more popular.
  4. Yay! Didn't notice that before. I'll fiddle with it when I get home. Stupid work. Thanks
  5. Woohoo~ Got the game a few days ago. I've had none of the technical problems some people seem to have. My system is on the low end of things, with a P4 2.4, 1G of RAM, and Radeon X800 VFX card. I'm running it at 1024 resolution, with high resolution textures and low water, shadow and lighting effects and runs great indoors and out. No crashes or lock-ups whatsoever. I was annoyed with the camera at first, but after I adjusted how fast it moved and zoomed, I'm pretty satisfied with it. I like the gameplay a lot so far. I'm not a PnP D&D player by any means and the most contact I've had with the D&D rules are the various IE games, so I have just a passing knowledge of the rules, but that hasn't hampered my enjoyment. As usual, I like going through the game as a honorable fighter/weaponmaster the first time around. I still wish they'd include a kensai sub-class. I miss the BG2 kensai class. A weaponmaster just doesn't have the same feel to it. The one thing that bothers me is the party control. Is there an option to make it possible to select the character you wish to control just by clicking on their character avatar and not the portrait? I've gotten used to doing this in all the IE games, so its pretty annoying when I think I've issued orders only to have someone else execute them after the unpause. I also wish they'd added in better total party control. The addition of formations would have been nice, like the IE games. I miss having my party form up to engage in battles and travel around for those unexpected encounters. Right now everyone just runs in a line, following the leader. Not the greatest situation when trying to coordinate an attack. I also keep trying to drag a box to select multiple party members, which I can't do. haha But, other than that, I'm having a lot of fun. I actually restarted after seeing the monkey grip feat. HEHE. Dual wielding greataxe/greatsword fighter here I come! I can't wait to get off work and go play again. Thanks Obsidian!
  6. I thought Friends was funny. :">
  7. Wait, FF6 is on the GBA? Hmm...I think I'll pick one up and play it.
  8. I use avant browser. Its clean, simple and works Firefox doesn't seem to work that on my comp.
  9. I'm gonna get NWN2, and a Wii (if I can) and then play old gamecube games that I missed out on. Super Mario Sunshine Metroid Prime 1 & 2 Twin Snakes Ikaruga Eternal Darkness Zelda Resident Evil 4 There are probably more.
  10. You don't have to but everything on the day it comes out. Wait for awhile and they will drop.
  11. Who liked spawning hundreds of Jedi and Dark Jedi and letting them have at it. I liked spawning a few rancors and pitting them against lots of smaller enemies. Heh.
  12. I vote New IP. I'm really interested in what Obsidian can do. Don't Rush K3. Let it simmer a little to get all the delicious flavor out. But not for too long!
  13. Chinese Super Ninjas! (w00t) Yes, it's actually the title of the movie. It's an old Shaw Brothers kung-fu movies. I first watched it when I was ten when my parents were having a party. They decided to rent some movies for the kids that were coming so we didn't get all into their hair. They rented what seemed like a harmless kung-fu movie, but little did they know that a samurai would perform seppuku early on, people would be dismembered, a hot female ninja would get her top sliced open, (much to the fascination of the various 10-12 year old boys present), and one guy would actually step on what looked like his exposed intestines hanging down from between his legs, (The crafty Earth elemental ninjas attacked him from underground), scream in agony then get his chest slashed open by the evil Ninja leader. Needless to say, us kids thought it was the best movie evar!!! I'm still in that stage of digging through my memory for movies that I watched when I was little that I have fond memories of. This has been going on for a while.
  14. I think the thread is taking a turn for the worst
  15. FF6 was my favorite too. But I don't think I could really play it now that I abhor random battles for some reason. I don't know. I think I've gotten lazy. I don't want to watch the screen change every few steps.
  16. I wish I could play a kensai. I miss my Kensai PC from BG2. I love the idea of roleplaying a warrior totally dedicated to the katana. I'm kinda of a martial arts freak myself. A weaponmaster just doesn't have the same feel.
  17. Got my hands on a Xbox for free! I am now playing Ninja Gaiden Black. This is without a doubt one of the best games I have ever played. Not as hard as I thought it would be, but I'm on normal. This should keep me busy until NWN2 comes out. Hope I can beat Master Ninja Mode by then.
  18. Hehe, though the last part is indeed funny. All those armored guys crammed in that little house watching as the boar gores one of their friends to death.
  19. I've been watching some movies of the game and gameplay seems a lot more different than previous titles. I've played FF 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 years ago and I enjoyed it then, but trying to play FF10, I just grew tired of the random battles and menu-turn based system. It was frustrating to walk a few steps battle, walk a few steps battle, again and again and again. FF12 seems to done away with that having all the monsters visible on the travel screen. Plus letting the CPU control NPC party members through the Gambit system seems a lot like assigning scripts in the BG games, a system I've always liked. I like the overall art design too. I think I'll give this one a try when it comes out. How about you?
  20. Its not as bad as I though it would be. The player just seemed to be rushing head in when obviously that tactic doesn't work. I remember equipping bow and arrow in BG1 and moving very cautiously taking down wolves and gibberlings one at a time when my character was low level. Same tactic might apply here like a previous poster mentioned.
  21. I miss the Nameless One. He was so scarred and magnificent.
  22. Looks like I'll be getting this game later rather than sooner then. I have to build a new system anyways. Were the previous 2 Gothic games buggy at first as well?
  23. Whoa, its almost here! (w00t)
  24. I'm relaxing on a cloudy Sunday. Thanking heaven that my busy season just ended and waiting patiently for reviews on Gothic 3 and the shipping of NWN2. Plus looking for cheap airfare to Korea. I think I'll get some pizza. Mmmm.
  25. I decided he was a basketcase when he started singing that "I'm so Ronrey" song. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I love that movie. I sing it sometimes too, accent and all...you know when I'm lonely
