  1. I identify as a Democrat. However, that doesn't preclude me from voting for an independent/third party candidate or break from the party line on individual issues. That being said, It's expedient for me to align with the Democratic Party because I believe in the over-arching platform of the party and it's organizational ability to coalesce in a united front --a government that is generally consistent with my social, civil, and political world view and values.
  2. Thank you for your most timely and appropriate interjection, Bartimaeus but yes, I have a general understanding and basic command of the English language. I'll be sure to never make an irreverent post outside of the basketball thread again. <-- This was mild sarcasm.
  3. The futures market on a Clinton indictment is overwhelmingly and resoundingly NO. https://www.predictit.org/Contract/1792/Will-a-federal-criminal-charge-be-filed-against-Hillary-Clinton-in-2016#data If you're so absolutely sure about an indictment, make yourself a good buck and put down a YES. You'd currently be getting better than 3-1 on ROI.
  4. LeBron deserves to be bashed. His team lost and he got outplayed by the Warriors' bench. This is Kerr bashing LeBron.
  5. Let's be real here. Clinton"s lead with he normal delegates is virtually insurmountable and the superdelegates aren't going against the will of the people and pledge their votes to the candidate who is behind by millions of votes. There will be no contested convention. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/clinton-will-likely-clinch-the-democratic-nomination-in-new-jersey/
  6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyDf_RKmDnE Lol. Adonal Foyle.
  7. The latest NBC/WSJ/Marist poll has Clinton with a 49-47 lead over Sandrrs with a +/- of 4.2. Most polls have Clinton leading, but within the error range. Won't matter anyway because Clinton is going to clinch the nomination in New Jersey before the voting even closes in California. Remember, in the Democratic Primaries, it's not winner take all --delagates are assigned based on the voting and Clinton is about to clinch.
  8. Yeah, well...it's not like Bernie doesn't have bad shooting nights either.
  9. The Ringer's scouting report on Uncle Benjen. Unselfish with the rock but juiced on Obsidian.
  10. Bernie's pretty decent in the paint. But Obama's got all-around game.
  11. Dawn?? King Tut was the Sword of the Morning!?!
  12. Last night, Bernie was at a venue filled to capacity with 20,000 people with many of the Bay Area's elite (actors, politicians, music stars, sthletes, billionaires etc.) present. He was sitting next to Danny Glover and this was probably the most anonymity that he experienced since the Primaries began and he genuinely seemed to have a great time being one with the crowd. Just a man enjoying the breads and circuses and reveling in the spectacle of sport for a couple hours. I was there, and had no idea he was even in the building until my Twitter feed told me so. Eventually spotted him.
  13. Welp. "DPRK News Service DPRK News Service‏ @DPRK_News Noble Philosopher Donald Trump praised as sharp-eyed mountain eagle, sent by heaven to strike down villains and evildoers from high above. May 31, 2016, 9:21:27 AM" https://mobile.twitter.com/DPRK_News/status/737680400013795328
  14. The Warriors are indomitable. No double digit lead is safe. Being up 3-1 in the series is meaningless. Even Bernie knows it. https://twitter.com/BernieSanders/status/737492131389005824
  15. Bernie is a man amongst the people.
  16. Remarkable episode. No boobs were shown and no one was killed.
  17. Dude, it's the Warriors. Not a choke job when the Thunder are CLEARLY the inferior team. PS Andre Iguodala for President.
  18. If there was ever a time to be a dynamic third party candidate, this year would be it. 538's take from a few days ago. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/pay-attention-to-libertarian-gary-johnson-hes-pulling-10-vs-trump-and-clinton/
  19. Thank you Merriam-Webster! The hot dog is indeed a sandwich! http://www.merriam-webster.com/words-at-play/to-chew-on-10-kinds-of-sandwiches/hot-dog
  20. Flash wears red, Arrow wears green. Why don't they call him Green Arrow?
  21. Gonna need some real comfort food for tonight's game. Went out and bought Prego mushroom pasts sauce, Kraft parmesan cheese, and Costco meatballs to serve with spaghetti. Haven't had this combo since I was in grade school.
  22. Westbrook shot 3-10 last night when Curry was the primary defender...but that's kinda beside the point because the Warriors defensive scheme is to relentlessly switch out on pick n rolls. The big problem was that GSW's team defense just utterly sucked the last two games. Dray especially needs to get his head back. OKC currently has the series edge and suckerpunched the Warriors the second half of Game 1 to come back from the rout and steal one on the road. All other games have been blowouts for the home squad --considering the massive home court advantages for both sides. Warriors in 7.
  23. Blizzard's writing is decent enough. I used to devour the Warcraft 2 and Starcraft manuals for their world lore.
  24. Holy smokes, OKC has more length and athleticism than Golden State. The Thunder did a great job disrupting the Warriors' passing lanes and flow. It'll be an uphill climb but if any team can go on a tear, it's the Warriors. They lost their focus the second half of game one and allowed OKC to come back down double digits at the half. Golden State will win Game 5 at home. Game 6 will be key because I can't see Golden State losing a Game 7 at home.
  25. Let Westbrook be Westbrook. OK. Now I'm worried.
