Are we taking any prop bets as to what survives the great EU purge? Thrawn, Mara Jade, the Solo twins??

"United States' claims at being a democracy seriously threatened"

Speaking of cameos, I always figured Bishop in NWN2 was a stand in for Sawyer. He kinda looks like him and "Bishop" was his old handle back in the day. Plus Bishop had an extreme, chaotic evil bent to his personality, greatly exaggerating Josh's posted libertarianistic political views. -
Thanks for the tip! Picking up VtM:B.

For BG2 and ToB, there was Gromnir, Mencar Pebblecrusher, Del, and Lanfear. I may be forgetting a few. But there were definitely a lot of crybabies. Including Lanfear herself, who couldn't quite get a joke. ...Typical humorless German not understanding American/Kanedan making funny. -

Whaa?? When did he do that? Only time I witnessed him break character was on the old Interplay boards circa 2003 when he called out Feargus for the downfall of Black Isle. -
Not a good night for OKC. And especially not for Golden State. Still, they broke The Clippers serve. Now they just need to take care of business at home.

"It's also worth noting that PST's soundtrack was more or less rushed by the publisher." You realize that the developer and the publisher were one and the same, right?- 221 replies

As much as I dislike the Clippers and Blake Griffin, AND coming in as a Warriors fan, that is as funny watching it unfold live as it is as a gif. I give propage to Griffin for that.
-
That game was entertaining. Man, that Lillard.

Interesting stat: This season the Warriors are actually 28-24 when Curry scores mores than 20 pts but are 23-4 when he scores less than 20. This is actually misleading in that when he doesn't have to look for his own shots, his teammates have been more effective offensively and so he can concentrate more as a distributor rather than having to do more himself. He'll take on more for himself when the team is struggling with buckets. I'm glad the Pacers are struggling. I like it when Slow-Paced teams lose.

As expected, it was a nail biter. The Warriors top five (with or without Bogut) is better than the Clippers top five. Clippers are deeper, but in the playoffs you have shorter rotations. Small ball will be the key for the Dubs; keep Jordan and Griffin out of their comfort zone and dictate their playing style and force Doc to react to the Dubs lineup. I fully expect the Warriors to win this series at least.

It's pretty shocking how there is a NorCal versus SoCal in both Hockey and Basketball, and they both are extremely well matched. Yeah, and it was Giants v Dodger and A's v Angels too.
-
Beat the Over/Under. Now all they need to do is win the West and I'm set.
-
Bogut's loss will hurt but won't be catastrophic. It'll allow Golden State to play small ball to good effect. They can still take out the Clippers (assuming that's going to be the first round matchup). We'll see after that.

Best offenses. Usual suspects present: Bulls, Nash, Don Nelson, D'Antoni, Stockton/Malone PNR. http://hardwoodparoxysm.com/2014/04/14/best-offense-nba-history/
-
Yeah. I never brought it up before and kept my mouth shut, but OKC's offensive sets are aesthetically ugly to watch.
-
Dammit. Looks like Bogut is done with a broken rib.

Goat tastes pretty close to lamb to me. Having some guests over tonight and will be watching the Portland - Golden State game as well as Game of Thrones. Cause enough to go fancy. Will be making fideos with clams and saffron.

Howard can be an elite defender but he is not the best, nor is he among the top four for his position. Joakim Noah, Andrew Bogut, Marc Gasol, and Roy Hibbert are clearly better this year. Below them are Tim Duncan, Howard, and DeAndre Jordan.
-
The defensive player of the year has to have enough of an impact to at least make his team a good defensive team. The KD v Lebron watch: http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&p1=duranke01&y1=2014&p2=jamesle01&y2=2014

Dwight Howard can't be the DPOY when the Rockets' overall Defensive Rating is 13th in the NBA at 106.1 per 100 possessions. The three best defensive players this year are Noah, George, and Bogut and it's close.

It was interesting listening to Rex Chapman's blatantl pro-Kentucky homerism. At least they were upfront about it. Hahaha.

FTL Advanced released on both PC and iPad. MCA had a hand in writing some of the new content.
