  1. If you believe it will be a total disaster and it is, you won't be disappointed. If you believe it will be a total disaster and it isn't, then you're pleasantly surprised. Win/Win situation.
  2. Whoo, Nazzy ain't available anymore, he's staying in Vancouver.
  3. Nothing wrong with being upset that it was cancelled. I never saw the show until I bought it on DVD but after seeing the first couple episodes I was upset that it was cancelled. Its my all time favorite TV show, and I never even saw it on TV.
  4. Mine is kinda lame... I like this one though.
  5. I believe its a world where magic is so common that its not just saved for the elite. Consumer goods are made with it and various technology has emerged from it, such as a high speed train that rides a bolt of lightning. At least thats what I've heard. Theres also a playable race of sentient constructs.
  6. The best part about this whole thing is the whole Canada: Its ours... see we landed on it and built a rock person and planted a flag! Denmark: WHAT! But we already made a pile of rocks and planted TWO flags! Thats it, I'm writing a stern letter of protest Its just plain silly.
  7. You'd be amazed how affective an all black monocolored deck is. It takes something very specialized to kill it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had an all red goblin deck that was pretty devastating. When I had my 9/9 mountainwalk Mons Goblin Raiders and Goblin Warrens tokens, and some enchantment that made all lands act as mountains as well as their standard land type, people got angry.
  8. Now this is a game, which a programmer really messed up. All and all it was a great game. As you play it, the speed of MTG depends on the processor. Since I now have a 2.6GHtz system, I probally could not keep up with the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whosa whatsit? What does a processor have to do with a card game? EDIT: Oh right... forgot there was a computer version. But then it's turn based... so what does speed have to do with anything?
  9. White Ninja comics are good too...
  10. I read 3. Real Life Comics, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Penny Arcade, and Loserz. Edit... whoops.. thats 4.
  11. I played off and on since Fallen Empires. I don't really have anyone to play with now, so I don't play.
  12. Hollywood needs more Jason Isaacs.
  13. I still hope the Penguins move to Winnepeg like was rumored not too long ago. The Jets need a comeback.
  14. I downloaded those last night. First good fan made mode I've played.
  15. Right now I have no idea what I'm listening to. I'm streaming one of Warren Ellis' Superburst Mixtapes of random mp3s he finds on the internet. Some of it is crap, some of it is awsome, and its all wierd. www.warrenellis.com, little music player thingy on the right.
  16. I didn't like Buffy, but after the first season, I really started liking Angel. I saw two episodes of Firefly and bought the one and only season from Amazon. Awesome. That and Lexx are the only sci-fi series I could be bothered to buy on DVD. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I got a $25 gift certificate to HMV when I signed up for my cell phone, and I just happened to go in when they were offering the firefly season for like 22.99. Regular price 47.99, otherwise I never would have bought it. I thank HMV for having their erratic prices now. They're wierd, they have horrendously high prices for most of their stuff, but then you find the odd thing thats like 5-30 bucks cheaper than everywhere else. I bought the Godfather collection for 35 bucks when the next cheapest was Wal-Mart at $55.
  17. Wow... its about time someone did an RTS to scale. I'm very impressed with the graphical side of it. Hopefully it will live up to what it says it will do gameplay wise. If so, it could be one of the best RTS' of all time.
  18. I wasn't a fan of Buffy or Angel either, but Firefly is possibly my favorite show of all time. But I haven't seen much Battlestar Galactica or Dr Who.
  19. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/topnews.php?id=10465 International trailer. Not a very well put together trailer, but has some good clips.
  20. As Kotor2 is the only one we've seen and/or played, that one gets my vote.
  21. Priest is the only Manga I read, and I didn't realize there was a new Lucifer trade, just checked Vertigo's website and it came out last month. I'll have to check Virgin, they're having a 20% off sale...
  22. Garth Ennis: Preacher, Punisher Warren Ellis: The Authority, Transmetropolitan, Global Frequency, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Planetary Mike Carey: Lucifer Mark Miller: The Authority, Ultimate X-Men, Chosen, Wanted, Wolverine Grant Morrison: We3, Animal Man, The Invisibles, JLA Brian Michael Bendis is hit or miss. Master of writing dialogue though.
  23. I personally prefer Preacher, Transmetropolitan, Lucifer, The Authority, Ultimate X-Men, Watchmen, Dreamwave Transformers, Sandman, The Ultimates, and Ultimate Spider-Man to any Manga I've read. Manga has no variety in the artwork, its all the same art. Manga may have been superior to Western comics 20 years ago, but with the coming of Alan Moore, Garth Ennis, Warren Ellis, Brian Michael Bendis, Grant Morrison, Mike Carey, and Mark Miller, Western Comics have surpassed Manga.
