  1. I just finished a footlong coldcut with lettuce, pickles, onions, olives, green peppers, honey mustard, southwest and mustard. It was good. And cheap. 4.52 after tax with my staff discount. Currently drinking a Jolt. Regular cola flavour because the Cherry Bomb sucks and they were out of Blue, which is the best one. I also have a bag of Old Dutch all dressed potato chips for later. Old Dutch is the greatest brand of potato chips ever. Hostess was the only brand that came close, but then I guess Lays got sick of competing with themselves and stopped selling them. Lays suck. Well, the flavoured ones do.
  2. my filthy pirated copy of the new Lostprophest CD which is out next week. Its good. I had 3 songs from it stuck in my head today. None of which are the first single, which is always a good sign. I like when the singles aren't the best songs on the CD.
  3. I'm currently re-reading Dragonlance Legends vol 3. Is the war of souls books any good? And after reading legends, what should I read that fits into the continuity between then and Dragons of Summer Flame? If the War of Souls books are any good, is there anything I should read before it to prepare me for new characters and such?
  4. Theres a series of videos on youtube called "Screw Loose Change" which goes alongside the documentary and points out flaws.
  5. Another thing that I saw was investigating that. Through their investigations, the jet fuel, combined with other combustibles could have reached a maximum of something like 800-1000 degrees, while the temperature needed for the structural steel to weaken to the point that it would start to bend was like 1160 degrees. Also, the steel was designed to support 6 times what it was required to support. There was also something the documentary left out that I heard before about a recorded phone conversation with the guy who owned the complex where he told someone to "pull the building" which they said was a demolition term
  6. Highlander 2 was never made. It was just a bad dream.
  7. If we count getting teary eyed as crying, then I always cry when Optimus Prime dies in the TF movie. If crying means like actual sobbing and such, that would be like 4 years ago or so when I found out my girlfriend of 3 years was leaving me for my best friend who she'd been having a thing with for about 6 months.
  8. Got halfway before it stopped loading. So far it was pretty interesting.

It was a joke... since she's died and come back like 3 times revealing the one who died to be a clone.
  10. I just saw D&D Wrath of the Dragon God. Better than the first one. I finished it and went "Hrmm, yep, that was a D&D movie". Instead of my reaction after the first one of "What the hell was that crap?"

well his main reason for keeping it secret was so no one would harm Mary Jane or Aunt May, now that they're both living in the avengers building, maybe he figures they're safe. Not that it really matters with Aunt May, she's just a clone anyway.
  12. For the first one I got: Economic Left/Right: -3.50 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.15 For the OK Cupid one I got: Social Liberal (68% permissive) Economic Liberal (28% permissive)

The part about the only good superpowers being flight, strength, speed, and invisibility left one out. Probability control. The greatest power of all. With Probability control you could have all those other 4 powers, and more. Because nothing is impossible, just improbable.
  14. Its kinda neat. But it gets old kinda fast. I started playing through the main campaign and once it gets to the part where it splits off and becomes non-linear (which is kinda cool) it loses focus and gets boring. Some neat concepts though

I believe so. First one is "Welcome Back Frank" I believe.

Preacher is awesome. And if you like that, you like Ennis' run on Punisher, and possibly Goddess as well. Also, the forementioned Lucifer is one of the best comics out there today as well. Though to be honest, the first half of the series was way better than the 2nd half.
  17. There would have to be a lot of added content to justify a full blown retail xp. Like the new XP for WoW is adding two new races, and with the amount of equipment in the game thats a pretty big undertaking. Each of those races gets a capital city, which are pretty big in WoW, they're adding new instance missions, new enemies, new equipment, new quests, new professions, new areas... their regular patch updates I think pretty much just added a new area and "fixed" some balance issues.
  18. Most MMORPGs add new content on a regular basis in order to justify the monthly fee. City of Heroes for instance has added 2 new archetypes, tons of new missions, new mission types, new areas, new enemies, new costume options, new power sets, etc. They used to also send you an issue of the official City of Heroes comic every month as well, until Devil's Due took over and wanted to sell it in stores. Anyway, a Diablo MMOG is the next logical step. Heck, they could even call it Diablo 3 and it would probably feel like an actual sequel unlike FF XI. Starcraft... I'd have to see how its done. WoW is really good, but there are some things that really annoy me. Like level limits on equipment. I understand why its there... but it still doesn't make any sense from an RP standpoint. "Gee, I'm just not skilled enough to put on this hat." I would love to see a Starcraft single player RPG. Not enough Sci-Fi RPGs, and I think that world would lend itself to some good stories.
  19. The tarantula was named after an african tribal dance because of the way people moved when relieving the itchiness from when they shoot their hair at you.
  20. Don't worry bud. My team didn't even make the playoffs... after all the big sports professionals predicted they would go all the way this year.
  21. Good, feel the pull of the darkside. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Right now the main thing that is bothering me is the low movement rate. And the fact that I need money, and the main thing I've read for getting money is selling stuff at the auction house. But the Auction House isn't available in the trial version. I like that it seems like you can solo pretty much the whole game.
  22. the 10 day WoW trial... I might end up paying once its over though...

well god did abicate his throne in favor of lucifer (who promptly said screw it and made his own creation) in the events of Lucifer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not quite. He made his own creation before God abdicated. In doing so he proved himself God's worthy successor, and God abdicated. Problem was, Lucifer didn't want the job, and neither did Michael, so some demons and such got it in their mind to take over. I like what they did with the girl. How she absorbed Michael's powers when she died and was therefore able to create her own creation, and she kept trying and trying to create a world where people wouldn't kill each other over their belief in her, that she eventually just said **** it, and stayed out of it.
