Apparently its being done by the guy responsible for teen titans and Legion of Superheroes. Only he wanted to do it in a way we've never seen Transformers before. And he has. I've never seen Transformers suck so hard.

Maybe we'll get a Stardock type thing here. Where the sequel gets made and is nothing like the originals, and another company comes out with a "Spiritual Successor" that is far superior and closer to the style of the originals than the sequel is. Here's hoping.

Well, Soren Johnson was just brought on board not too long ago. Possibly re-working the civ phase of the game?

Ghost rider was awesome. Not so much for the plot and such, it was pretty cheesy, but every time Ghost Rider is on screen, he just radiates so much awesomeness that you don't care about anything else in the movie.

Just watched Sicko, the new Michael Moore documentary on the US health care system. It was very interesting. I didn't know the US was the only country in the western world without free, or close to it, medical care. Also, the part where he gathers up a bunch of sick 9/11 rescue workers denied health coverage in the US and takes them down to Cuba where they're all pretty much reduced to tears because of how well they're treated and not charged for any of the treatment they're given, that was awesome. One woman had inhalers she needed that cost her 120 bucks each in the US, and she bought the same brand in Cuba for 5 cents each. All in all, even if it turns out to be totally fake, it was still a good watch.

I'm currently watching that right now. I'm watching the DVD version that I received for Christmas for the first time and I have to say I'm impressed. My VHS copy (swear word included! :D) doesn't have 5.1 surround sound. The scene where Unicron first meets up with Megatron is awesome in 5.1. Unicron's voice just reverberates so well in my basement viewing area. The picture quality really impressed me too. It looks like they've done a fantastic job cleaning up the picture! I'm watching it with my little brother and quoting it as it plays. The only parts I can't do are Blurr's lines because he goes through them so fast. It's a really easy way to annoy my little brother. My main problem with the new anniversary edition of the film is the color correction screws up the color. Hot Rod is not supposed to be pink. Anyway, I subjected myself to both Date Movie and Epic Movie. Both were pretty ass-tastic, but Date Movie was the better of the two.

Who needs writing when its open ended!?!

Hmm. Oblivion engine, click to move. Sounds like a totally irrational assumption given what Todd Howard has continually said about their approach to the camera style/view of the world they were considering. I know. I was just really trying to hold on to hope that they wouldn't screw it up. The fact that Todd Howard contradicted himself all the time didn't help coming to terms with Fallout 3's inevitible ****tiness, because there was always that one little beam of hope when he says "nothing is decided yet" a couple days after saying they aren't going to do turn based.

I'm still good for weekends or weekdays after 10 PM PST.

I don't know why anyone would have thought Bethesda were going to use a click-to-move system, or why a birds-eye view necessitates it. Games like Crusader and Alien Shooter use directional key controls. I just prefer click-to-move over directional keys, and figured since fallout 1 and 2, and hell even fallout: tactics had it, they just might try to stay true to the predecessors. No idea why I would have had hope they would stay true to the predecessors.

The thing I hate too is how the camera view choice is likely the result of being designed for console first and PC second. A birds eye view click to move type system would suck on consoles, so we have to suffer because of it.

I got a DS because my girlfriend got one and she wanted to use the wireless linkup with me. All the GBA games I wanted were out of print, and the only DS game I was interested in was MarioKart. Waste of 150 bucks. PSP on the other hand can apparently run emulators, letting me play all those out of print GBA games I want to play, as well as being able to emulate my PSX games and such. It also has a lot more games I'm interested in such as MGS:Portable Ops, the GTA stories games, FF:Crisis Core, and lots more coming out. Plus I can use it as an MP3 player and I believe it plays video files too but I may be wrong. And its only like 50 bucks more.

Well, so far the fears of Oblivion with Guns seem to have been legitimate. It looks like it might be an entertaining game, just not Fallout.

This depends on several factors. If you get stuck on the sides or in the front, then watching in theatres sucks. Also, if you have a small ass tv, then watching at home sucks. In general though, if you get good seats, the theatre is vastly superior. Anyway, saw Pirates 3 today. Was going to see Fantastic Four too but they wouldn't take my $10 off coupon so I'm going to find a theatre that will.

So apparently ticketmaster is taking deposits for "Hamilton Predators" season tickets, and are nearing sellout. Despite the sale not being final, and even if the sale was final, they still have a lease in nashville they can't get out of for at least 2 years, AND Hamilton is in both Buffalo and Toronto's boundaries which would require changine league bylaws to allow the team there.

Also, Keanu Reeves turned down the role of Dr Manhattan in the Watchmen movie. Thank FSM for that.

http://www.superherohype.com/news/topnews.php?id=5860 New bat suit. Its sorta bad-ass. I like what they did with the cowl. Making it more like a helmet so he can move his head more, yet maintaining the batman look.

I can only think of Trigun for that one.

I also thought it suffered from "no ending" syndrome. Anyway, borrowed Bloodrayne from a guy at work who described it as "Eye rape". I thought it was hilarious. The awful effects, the ridiculously bad acting. Oh God it was like Michael Madsen was reading cue cards.

Is there a browser out there that isnt garbage?

Another firefox supporter here. Updates are pretty regular, and extensions add a lot of customization. If you go tab crazy like me though, it can soak up ram like mad. I think at one point I had it using 800 megs of ram. Usually averages at about 250MB though. -
Please tell me those aren't actual lines from the film. Lyrics to a song that was "leaked" on the Sector 7 website. Basically its a cover of the theme song, only with crappier lyrics.

I had a craving to watch Undercover Brother again today... but instead I bought season 4 and 5 of Stargate SG1. As well as Season 1 part 1 of TMNT(2003 version) and the new Highlander animated film by the guy who did Ninja Scroll. All I know about that one is that the trailer was cool.

On the radio today they were talking about how everyone was right when they told the Canucks they were idiots for firing Brian Burke.

I tend to cheat a lot in games because I don't like certain parts of games. RPGs for instance, I tend to cheat and give myself crazy equipment or stats because I don't like combat and want to get through it as fast as possible so I can get on with the story.
