  1. Peter will likely have gone off into the desert somewhere like Ted did to learn to control his powers.
  2. The only thing I had any issues with was how the whole movie was down down down down down then you don't even get a happy ending. Just bittersweet. With how depressing it all was, it would have been nice to be uplifted a bit at the end.
  3. He looks just right as the Joker. Was he in that fan(?) movie where Batman faces off against Predators and Aliens? The Joker in that movie was good too. No, Vincent Cassel is a french actor, which is why I said he was perfect looks wise. He had the lead in a western with Michael Madsen and Juliette Lewis a while back, but I haven't seen it and don't know how well he hid his accent and for the most part his roles over here are mainly just as french people. He was the villain in Brotherhood of the Wolf.
  4. Best possible joker looks wise would have been Vincent Cassel. http://www.worth1000.com/entries/241500/241511dJli_w.jpg And here's the source: http://starophileimages.free.fr/wallpapers..._cassel_002.jpg
  5. You mean you don't approve how the character has been betrayed since..... his initial appearance back in 1940. They should change this for what reason? His smile has never been a physical deformity until the Tim Burton film.
  6. The 3rd film was a toy commercial. They started making Robocop toys at that point and it didn't make sense to sell toys for an R rated movie I spose. I heard a remake was being tossed around, and the geek in me both hates and loves that idea. I think Robo could really benefit from todays effects, and I think some aspects of his design need a redesign. His look is perfect, but his mobility needs a lot of work. Though I guess his lack of speed and agility is part of his charm. If they do remake it, I hope they plan it as a trilogy, that way if its successful each movie isn't so drastically different.
  7. http://www.ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com/ I personally don't like this and hope its just a test. I don't like the whole permanent smile the movies seem to advocate. I think it adds a lot more to his character that he's just a nutball who smiles all the time. It makes the scenes where he isn't smiling so much more intense.
  8. How badly they screwed up the whole process in that movie was part of the comedy though. I liked that the games were designed, written, programmed, etc. by one guy, then had a 30 man QA team to test it.
  9. The 3rd I believe was rated PG-13, and didn't have Peter Weller as well. Anyway, I just watched A Scanner Darkly and Bon Cop Bad Cop. A Scanner Darkly was ok, but the more I see of Robert Downey Jr, the more I love him. Bon Cop Bad Cop was excellent. Its about a serial killer targeting members of the hockey community who are americanizing hockey. Its very tongue in cheek. I especially liked the joke about the guy drafted by quebec but never playing there, and when informed he might be a target of the killer, he passes out and gets a concussion.
  10. Probably because it doesn't have much to do with Fallout? Actually I believe Mad Max was a major influence on the Fallout games.
  11. I just don't understand why they changed some things that wouldn't have hurt their alien aesthetic or whatever they were going for. Like at least they could make Ironhide red. Its not like red trucks are unrealistic. Same problem with Ratchet. Making him a white and red ambulance wouldn't be a stretch of our suspension of disbelief. I know I've seen far more white and red ones than green and red ones.
  12. He does look a lot better moving, but still doesn't look anything like starscream. Oh, and the TF getting out of the pool and spinning around dodging missiles and shooting his own, thats Ironhide. Also doesn't look anything like him.
  13. Sweet, Goon Show. I've only heard a few of them but they were hilarious.
  14. http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/transforme...kMvx_cskhxfVXcA Transformers theatrical trailer. I had several geekgasms.
  15. As long as he leaves all the emoness behind. Well, it looks like he keeps the hair at least.
  16. Well, they're killing off quite a few characters. They don't seem to be afraid of eliminating key characters for the sake of the story, which is good. Heightens the tension. It also means that they don't have to introduce a new cast each season to keep it fresh, they can just kill people off and introduce new characters as the story requires. I just hope they keep Peter around until he become badass matrix Peter.
  17. 4/3rds of people don't understand fractions.
  18. Just got back from the Finger Eleven show in Vancouver. Was pretty good. Inward Eye, one of the openers was the highlight though. They got more cheers when they came back out to pick up their guitars and such than Strata did when they finished their set.
  19. The Spidey films were ok. I really don't think they deserved how much money they made. Not when Batman Begins, which is a FAR superior superhero film made only 200 million.

The bet between the mayor of Vancouver and the mayor of Anaheim I believe was that the losing mayor had to wear the winning team's jersey in their next press conference Yeah, but that one wasn't mentioned in the media here in Ontario. Seems like a pretty standard bet though. And did this thread just completely die now that everyone else's teams are out? Go Sens! As the only Canadian team still in the playoffs, I'm obligated to cheer for them. Well... that and I don't like any of the other teams.

  22. What MMOs need to do to make them enjoyable is remove the MMO aspect from them. What makes them so unenjoyable is that you are forced to play with other people.
  23. At least I didn't hate Kirsten Dunst in this one. And James Franco did a pretty good job too. Tobey just seems to get worse and worse though. I think they should have saved Venom for another movie. The Pete/Harry conflict couldn't be avoided after the 2nd film, so they should have focused on that while building up the Pete/Eddie conflict for movie 4.
  24. Ok, all it is is a lightsaber battle, but holy crap is this awesome. http://stage6.divx.com/user/DorkmanScott/v...n-vs--Dorkman-2
