gonna have to agree with this, although admittedly i only played the GBA versions Tactics Ogre - quite an interesting story based around a fallen angel FFT - starts off will a snowball fight... Do not confuse Final Fantasy Tactics with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Advance isn't even a port, it's a new game. The original is much better and is being ported to PSP. Tactics has a terrific plot revolving around the Zodiac stones and a Saint. It also has an atrocious translation that seriously impairs the enjoyment of the plot and the game. I never noticed the bad translation. I was having too much fun and enjoying the story.

Not a movie, but I saw the pilot for Journeyman. Not sposed to air til the 24th, I enjoyed it. Mondays will definitely be the highlight of the week for TV for me with Heroes and that. It looks like it won't be serialized, but will have an overall story arch. Basically its about a guy who makes little trips through time, altering the lives of those he encounters for good or bad, he doesn't know why or how he does it, but the time he's gone in the past registers in the present, so he'll be missing for days in the present, which puts a strain on his relationships. I hope this does well, as I'd like to see how things unfold.

The EB here had been advertising its release on the 12th for the last month. I wanted to get the 360 version but it was 25 bucks more than the PC version.

As would I. And it shouldn't be a real-time strategy game with resource gathering and such. A semi-RPG would be cool, based around the Greek pantheon. You're an up an coming god and have to gain followers and cause trouble for mortals and such. Maybe spawn a couple superpowered progeny by mortal women and guide them as they grow, or completely ignore them as you see fit. Spore looks like it will come closest to the all powerful god type game though.

Chances are a publisher rather than a developer would get the 4e license, if Atari's D&D license doesn't just carry over into 4e. It just makes more sense for a publisher to have the rights as they could make action games, strategy games, RPGs, etc., while developers tend to be more specialised.

So Kevin McKidd semi-confirmed his involvement in Thor. He won't be playing Thor, but says he is being considered for "The other male lead" Which would obviously be Loki. I think he'd rock as Loki, but the other revelation, that they're looking for someone more around the 19-20 year old range for Thor, doesn't look good. Especially if Kevin McKidd is Loki, as Loki is supposed to look up to Thor at first.

Not really, they're basically gone after the Macross Saga. Well, you lose 90% of the plot for the first half of the series. Chances are, the first movie will be the Macross saga, if not the first trilogy.

One of the few 80s cartoons that really doesn't need a lot of changes to make it work. The robots are earth-made so you don't need to make them look crazy, and the transformations work, as evidenced by the toys. The 40 foot human-looking Zentraedi might be a little odd on screen though, but you lose 90% of the plot if you change them.

The only problem I've had with it is it being the worst racing game I've ever played. My brother says its harder because its a simulator rather than a game. I say what does that have to do with not being able to take a corner at 30 MPH. After 5 minutes playing I was like "Well, I can see why this came free with the system" I wonder how much EB will give me for it...

I'm usually the same. But sometimes I get the odd movie that everyone says is fantastic and I hate it and get angry at the world.

When it comes to games and movies, I don't look for objective reviews. I look for reviews by people with the same taste in games/movies. Regarding Fallout 3, I'd put more weight on the opinion of someone who hated Oblivion and loved Fallout rather than someone who loved Oblivion and never played Fallout.

I pirated that and Date movie a couple months ago because I couldn't bring myself to pay for a rental. While Date Movie was the better of the two, both of them left me feeling like I had somehow lost a part of my soul. Although I admit laughing at the stuntman gags. Such as in Epic Movie where Fred Willard is replaced by a 20 something asian dude for a fight scene, and in Date movie, Alyson Hannigan is replaced by a 6 foot black man for a motorcycle scene.
