  1. Wow, that's a massive improvement over what was shown during the Kickstarter. Yeah, they have been making some nice changes and of course this is still early design phase
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6OkfbzqFHEM\ Guys here is an informative video from Richard Garriott that discusses this game and shows gameplay. Its long so you can skip through to 20 minutes if you want live scenes around housing, crafting and some dungeon exploration. I think it has huge potential
  3. Boko Haram are particularly brutal and intransigent in there interpretation of Islam. They cannot be reasoned with and need to be arrested or annihilated. They are more violent than any other African Islamic extremist group currently operating in Africa Something else I need to say, people are saying the Saudi's are sponsors of Terrorism and it would seem the country and regime in Saudi Arabia are sponsors. But that's not true as its only certain wealthy Saudi businessmen who support these extremist groups. The rulers of Saudi Arabia are very much opposed to the likes of Al-Qaeda and have been instrumental in preventing several extremist attacks against the West. They do this because in the last decade or so they been the targets of extremism so they are aligned to the West in this conflict against Islamic fundamentalism
  4. Happy B-day America !!!
  5. You can spin it any way you want, it still doesn't change the fact they don't seem to understand a basic balance sheet?
  6. Strange that you feel companies like Bioware rip us off, don't deliver on the final product and you say you won't support them. But you are fine paying for a game that may not be finished and has now become apparent that the development company doesn't know how to manage a basic balance sheet? At least with Bioware gives us something we can play, yay for the big publisher business model
  7. We are going to an international dance event tonight, there will be loads of ladies running around and the music will be excellent http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?494025
  8. They are a grotesque. A parody on pretty much everything. If you look at them as anything but a grand rollercoster of immaturity, then you'll hate the game. If you look at them with a fascinated curiosity of just how far they can go without a soccer mom showing up at the devs' doorstep and shooting them, then its gold. A brilliant description of the SR games. Nice one
  9. Oh I just realized that I helped fund this game so I should be able to get it for free
  10. Wow, good information. Thanks Indira for all the details
  11. You are funny. You are a real hedonist, you do realize that?

I understand you want to be protective to your daughter but don't you think those Russian ladies look sexy and elegant, not slutty at all? That's a nice combination and something positive? Of course they are hot but if I can see your thong-ed ass through your sheer lace dress, that's pretty slutty. I gotta get me one of those Russian fur hats, ushanka. Okay I see what you mean
  13. Guys some of you seem to battle falling asleep or have prolonged periods where you don't sleep well. I would like to ask a question? Do you exercise regularly, I don't mean just a walk around the block but at least 40 minutes of intense cardio 3-4 times a week?

Shame this picture of your stereotypical Russian peasant grandmother is cute.

  16. I am also keen to try this game, it will just be a nostalgic sojourn for me. I won't expect much but some mild entertainment I downloaded it last night, but only had time to start a new game and attempt to cross the road... Please also keep us updated on your view of this game
  17. Keep us updated around your view on this game, I am interested
  18. Under other USA regimes he might not have been safe but under the Obama presidency its highly unlikely, I would say almost impossible, that the USA would send a special force raiding party into Ecuador to kidnap Snowden. That's why he will be safe as that's the only way I can think he would be forced to leave Ecuador. But as Walsie mentioned Ecuador risks economic penalties from the USA and that will effect the poor in Ecuador. Not the president who is enjoying his moment of anti-American sentiment in the limelight

  20. http://nedhardy.com/2013/06/26/a-love-letter-to-the-nsa-agent-who-is-monitoring-my-online-activity/ Okay this is brilliant, really funny
  21. You can't expect a corrupt government like Ecuador to do the right thing and refuse Snowden refugee status but you never know?
  22. Is this actually true? (I haven't really done much analysis on what the hobbies are of gay people - my assumption was that the distribution would be not a whole lot different) I have no idea. I'm generalizing. I'm guessing they would not be popular among the really gay. The regular gay folks probably as much as any other. Is this actually true? Of course its not true, I have several gay friends. There are generally 2 types of gay men. The gay guy that sees himself as a man but he is attracted to men and the gay guy that sees himself as a women. The former can have every single hobby that straight people do. Like hunting, fishing and playing rugby. But I know you are aware of this, I assume you are just making a point. @ GB You need to get out more my friend, I can't believe you have never met a gay person ?
  23. Okay, we will have to agree to disagree on this one. That's the one gripe I had with Torment. You have this protagonist who traverses the worlds and planes and fights beings of godlike power. He realizes he is immortal and has people in his party who he is attracted to and has an emotional connection with and are prepared to die for him yet he doesn't really seem to explore the Romance aspect satisfactorily? It was unrealistic considering everything else he has to go through and rationalize about himself I don't think that romance is required in a RPG(or even needed to have a great RPG), but I think that if the player wants a PC who tries to have sex with everything they see, the player should be able to do that. Okay just to be clear I am not saying you must have Romance but it adds to the realism
  24. I would be very excited with a Dark Sun setting and gameplay but it needs to be "modernised" at least to the PE level.
  25. I have to agree, while the original was alright, I was very disappointed with the sequel. I have high expectations for Legends of Dawn, when I know I shouldn't, especially with the constant delays. I enjoyed TW2. I thought they improved on almost aspect of the first one. Plus I enjoyed the way you could really create your own spells and potions. But the one thing that did annoy me a little was the first continent was clearly an African theme and you had these normally docile animals that would never attack a human suddenly attacking you on sight. Like ostriches and baboons
