I want to share with you a guys a bizarre and funny dream I had last night. Remember that dreams are just your subconscious mind trying to rationalize the various thoughts you are having. So a dream doesn't have to make any sense or mean anything as you'll see in this case As I mentioned I go to Vegas every year for a Technical symposium. In this dream I was in Vegas but I was staying with Hurlshot and he was showing me around Vegas with his wife. But he looked like he did in his Avatar picture, not in real life. We were also life long friends. He took me to all these clubs and in this one club I met a school friend who I haven't seen for a while, a guy called Mike. Anyway Mike started talking to me about "what I was doing in Vegas" and then he came back to Hurlshots house and we all had a barbeque. I woke up and the first thing I thought was " surly Hurlshot doesn't know Mike". I then realized that I also have never met Hurlshot and the whole thing was just dream. But it felt so real

I hear you, that's probably what happened. I am hoping Steam support will just update my German version with an English one. I am not sure of the logistics but I can't imagine its that hard to do?

Hi All I was given Bioshock as a gift on Steam. I downloaded it and noticed its in German I have logged call with Steam support on Tuesday and still had no response. This is longest time I have ever had to wait for them to get back to me. What else can I do to get an English version of Bioshock or should I just wait?

You can get all of the benefits for $10 cheaper with some simple modding. Although I picked it up for $10 o Steam, but still haven't gotten around to playing it. Okay, thanks Good to know

I like the idea, but I read no mention of the type of PC infrastructure they plan to have? How will we play our games and browse the Internet? Will we still have access to the Obsidian forums? I don't think they have properly thought things through

Good point. But realize that demos are very expensive to create. They consumea lot of dev time and are merely for marketing purposes. Since the game won't be going to market for a while... they saw no need to. And if the game isn't well received, that's just a lot of negative publicity. They'll keep it under wraps "until it's ready". By extending the development by a year, BioWare can avoid the whole issue of it being shamed by the The Witcher 3. They can be more reactive to how it's perceived and make some last minute changes do their game. I think the extension proves the reliability of that leak on reddit, where a BioWare employee (or was it an alpha tester?) confided that DA3 is nowhere near ready and an assured train wreck if it were to be launched this fall. Anubite despite your supportive posts I'm starting to really believe you don't think Bioware is a good development company or that they have a future. Maybe you should just be honest as this sycophantic view of them is a little unbelievable?

I find that hard to believe, in fact I would say thats highly unlikely. Bioware isn't going anywhere. They still have several million committed fans, like me , who believe in there products and enjoy the gaming experience they provide. These fans provide Bioware with a healthy revenue stream, so why would EA try to effect this in anyway?

Actually I would dispute that as you have several cases of prominent businessmen, celebrities and politicians saying things on Twitter and other mediums of Internet communication that have really embarrassed them and caused them to lose there jobs. If these people hadn't lost there jobs who knows the impact they would have had on the world either positive or negative

I'm just teasing Funny thing is I'm sure that thread was where you and I first started chatting when I joined the Obsidian forums. So the Romance thread has a certain nostalgic appeal to me. I grew up with my cheeks being pulled as did all my brothers? Its cute especially if your cheeks are a little chubby like my families were when we were young. I would think cheek pulling is normal?
