Wow, I think you have missed the whole point of the article. But I want to discuss this later when I have more time

Wow that's one of the best articles I have read in ages. Really insightful and relevant. I have forwarded it to all the people that I know would appreciate the content I read many interesting points, but the ones that for me are most interesting are The facts, despite what I normally believe, won't always convince people Our subconscious defense mechanism around contrary ideas is to rationalize and not reason To convince someone we can't just use facts but we have to integrate this with there values I find the last point the most thought provoking, I want to discuss this later when I have a break from work as this will lead to more debates

Well, it had- up to the point the papers stopped cooperating, and as much as Snowden's stuff has been. It went to WL first, but as I said, that assured anonymity, something Snowden was not worried about. Handing it to WL is no more a public release than handing it to a politician is, it only becomes public when, er, it becomes public whether it's a politician reading it in parliament (or someone in their office leaking like a sieve) or someone putting it in their paper. ... That is quite the most charmingly naive thing I've seen in a long long time. It's good to see that some people still trust politicians. But those would be the same senators and congressmen who are slavering about treason and espionage*, running to the top of the pole beating their chests and shouting about how the release damages national security and the like? Going to a congressman would be a good way to cut out the middleman, but not in the successful release sense. He might as well just have gone the whole hog and bought a one way ticket to the Gitmo part of Cuba. After all "congressman catches dangerous subversive spy" is marvellous PR and does not run the risk of you being labelled a traitor yourself. Sheesh, Manning confided in a hacker (in this case code for "foetid gob of yak sputum") and got dobbed in by him. Mmmmm, maybe. You may be right. A congressmen may have just turned him in and basked in the media glory but I doubt it. On further reflection I think the more likely outcome is that no Congressman would have gone to the media or made this information public. It would have been a death sentence for there career and jail time. The reality is that Prism has helped prevent terrorist attacks and is a useful tool to gain pertinent information about suspected terrorists. Why would any Congressmen want to be become a traitor by exposing this?

Well... this situation has the potential to be... icky, We were together for about a year. It was right after I was in that car accident. My life was in total ruins, I had just lost my job, then the accident, my whole savings was just about wiped out, and I has having some real issues with depression following the accident and I was self medicating with booze. Anyway she was one of the physical therapy nurses I was working with and after I was back on my feet I asked her out and it just went from there. We were both divorced and really into each other but she was looking to get married again and after my first go around I really wasn't. So that brought that relationship to an end. That was like four years ago. I have not seen her since. It's a little dd to hear from her out of the blue but curiosity compels me to see her. I wrote her a nice reply and asked he if she would like to go to dinner this weekend. I was thinking here: http://memphis.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi=1/XJ&zTi=1&sdn=memphis&cdn=citiestowns&tm=20&f=10&su=p554.23.342.ip_&tt=3&bt=8&bts=8&zu=http%3A//acrememphis.com/ GB what happened to you when mention an accident if you don't mind talking about it, I have read others talk about it but I obviously joined these forums after the whole incident occurred.

Use the backdoor and GTFO? I could never be that rude, no that wouldn't be acceptable

I don't get the restrictive laws in Oz, the place is like a police state. They have the most poisonous creatures in the earth, cataclysmic storms and wildfires that ravage the land, man-eating sheep and other very dangerous wildlife yet they feel the need to protect there general population from the "horrors of gaming"....

I have an issue with any game that strays too much from the original plot in a movie or plot. What you mentioned is like playing some game around Lord of the Rings and having Sauron come down from Mordor to arrange a picnic with the Hobbits, or rather that's more likely to happen than Little Finger bringing peace to the Seven Kingdoms

I have to say I don't find those hairstyles attractive or complementing the ladies overall appearance at all

The more relevant question is " what if you find you aren't attracted to her anymore" That won't be a problem! I have remarkably low standards! Female? Check. Over 18? Check. Alive? Check. I'm good! I like it,

Okay Melk I tried to play the famous " the issue lies with a bug in game" card to explain your frustration but it seems like you need to spend more time on the game. Sorry buddy I tried

Events are dependant on Attacker-Defender skills. So if your attacker have Intrigue of 20+ then expect to see treacheries, same goes for Martial. So, don't expect poor commanders to fare well against skilled opponent. The only thing I expect is the rules to apply to the computer and a certain bit of reason to be behind things and not a complete and utter random mess to everything. Which is what I experienced. @ Ros Is it possible that in Melk's game a virus effected the software code and the AI and that's why it seemed like the game was a mess? You never know.....

Okay I see what you mean, I know several Garrets. Its not an uncommon name in South Africa

What did you guys talk about? I can probably guess...you swopped stories around whose pet moose eats the most food ?

You're welcome. I'd definitely go for Hunted because Brink is more like a multiplayer experience, no decent single player. Hunted on the other hand has loot, single player, co-op and two humorous characters. Thx, Hunted it is then

Challenge.. Accepted. Since Wals hasn't had the chance to do so yet.. On second thoughts " God Save the Queen"

How do you know that less than 10 % of the people who responded are not from America? Do you know a poll was run on these forums to see where people lived and the majority of people who responded are not from America.

Its a point that's been brought up before and I have no answer for it (which is why, for now, I don't buy that Snowden was acting out of a desire to do good for "the US people"). Since a senator could have presented the evidence in the house or senate and be protected by the "Speech or Debate" clause, in theory the information could have been put out there to "protect" the US citizens without having to reveal how the information was obtained protecting Snowden. But it would have also left Snwoden anonymous, and I gather that being known was important to him. I think that Snowden has committed a serious crime against his country and he must face the consequences. But you raise an interesting question " why go public in the way he did ?" Narcissism, misplaced views on doing the right thing or a Chinese spy? I have heard several theories and I don't know what to think. I just know if he aligns himself with Wikileaks he is making an egregious mistake. Unless you like being confined in a small embassy in the UK?

http://www.getloadedgo.com/ Thanks Astiaks for this link as I think this is an excellent opportunity, anyway I will be buying Dishonored but want some input on my other game. Should I buy Hunted or Brink? I know they are totally different games but I just want views on either
