  1. How does that pertain to the subject at hand? Aren't we discussing reincarnation? Didn't you post a link about reincarnation and I'm interested in your opinion I thought we were discussing the buddhist beliefs (or lack thereof) in reincarnation, but then you went and posted this: So now I'm confused. Ah yes my bad, I always forget that people have no way of knowing when I'm joking about something I have no real proof of reincarnation from any religion but I still like to read about it, so I don't really dismiss the Buddhist view of it ...so really I have no informed opinion about it but I would still like to get your view, and any one elses, about it
  2. Imagine if you were reincarnated as a Syrian refugee

  4. Nah I don't follow boring Buddha definitions of reincarnation....I'm talking about proper reincarnation definitions where I get reborn as a Chinese emperor
  5. I have a feeling you're not overly familiar with Buddhism Really? So you saying that there are not any branches of Buddhism that teaches reincarnation then? Or that people can ascend to Buddhahood (another unprovable belief)? On reincarnation. (Also, isn't the Dalai Lama considered to have ascended to Buddhahood?) alum do you believe in reincarnation? I can't imagine it features too much in the medical fraternity
  6. How do you know most rapes are committed by people from Africa and the ME? Yes in my country we have an astronomical high level of rape but its not because black people are predisposed to rape but yes compared to what you Europeans are use to I'm sure some of the Syrians do seem like they a propensity for it...but this may be due to there history and exposure to extreme violence ? Sorry but how does this negates what he wrote? He didnt presume that they act like that because of their race/color but because of that history and extreme violence? Oh I didn't realize he was saying that, my bad

Take a look at these photos to understand what that racist women was referring to ...now don't get freaked out, this is only over Christmas https://melancholymons.wordpress.com/2013/01/18/kwa-zulu-natals-durban-beachfront-1930-2013/
  8. So smarty pants what happens if someone who use to be Jewish but renounced there religion marries a black person who is Jewish but lies in Mongolia ?
  9. You funny The worst thing about this whole " monkey " insult is how seriously so many black South Africans have taken what this ignorant racist said You would think they would ignore it but they don't, so for the last 2 days I have heard dozens of black South Africans phone in a various radio talk shows and say things like "I'm not a monkey ....I am tired of white people thinking we are monkeys " Yet that is NOT what people like me have ever thought
  10. Buy some nice Old Amsterdam Cheese.,...that should make you cheery ?
  11. What ...don't tell us now you also don't believe in the Greek gods? You are such an " atheist cliche "
  12. Artistic license ...its better than the reality
  13. They are corrupted, they corrupt the teaching, corrupt the religion, that's why Jesus against them is it not? Maybe there are things we can learn from Jews, only good things of course...but what are the good things about them anyway? Well you could learn many things from the Jewish community....I would say the first thing should be how the Jews care about other Jews. They really care about the sanctity of a single Jewish life, most of the Islamic world doesn't seem to care too much about other Muslims if its an inconvenience ....like the Syrian refugees and how the Sunni countries in the Middle East don't want to take in any refugees Is that a good thing? Isn't that RACISM? Jew is a RACE, Islam is a religion, Muslims are from various of RACES...surely you don't want to play with this? Syrian are Syrian, Arabs are Arabs, Turk are Turks, of course they are majority Muslims but they are all of different race. I am Malaysian, i am not Arab, not Syrian, i can say Arab problem is not my problem, Syrian problem is not my problem...but Malaysian problem is my problem So if you want to put all Muslims into one shoe, and compare with Jews, then you are making unfair comparison and judgment I don't mind discussing this, Syria/Saudi/UAE/Jordan and many other Middle East countries are part of the Arab League so there is suppose to be a connection despite what you saying And the reality is these countries are all Muslim countries and despite this they don't care about the Syrians?
  14. Yes in the old days of Colonialism the Europeans did think the various tribes and groups of people they came across in there expansion across the world were uncivilized, barbaric and uneducated ....but compared to the Europeans at the time in the 1600's they were. The Europeans in the 1600's must have had the most technological advancements in the world? But that's the old way the West sees the world ...nowadays we are all one big global village that just needs to understand the West offers the best form of governments

  16. Oh don't think I'm looking for sympathy, on a personal level and financially I'm doing fine But you must admit what she said is reprehensible
  17. http://memeburn.com/2016/01/estate-agent-calls-black-people-monkeys-in-racist-facebook-post/ Guys please read what this white South African women said recently about black South Africans over the Xmas period....I am embarrassed and irritated someone in SA could be so ignorant and insensitive We are dealing with a huge "anti-white " sentiment at the moment where the whites in SA are all being called racist because of her utterances
  18. No the Jews aren't corrupted, they are just very good at survival and they generally very good business men ...especially in finance You could learn a lot from them?
  19. If a religion demands you do an action and you do not do this action due to a lack of evidence of needing to do it this would qualify as "disbelief". I too entertain there's a small possibility of there being a god or gods but seeing there is no evidence for this I act on the assumption there isn't. Call it what you will but I find the "I'm not an atheist I'm agnostic" to be less about philosophical accuracy and more about tip-toeing around people's religious beliefs and not wanting to look like one of those nu-atheist types. To be honest thats why I'm not religious, these is just no proof. In the old Testament divine interventions and acts of wrath were not uncommon. So I would just need something tangible to believe ...I don't think thats unreasonable ?
  20. My drivers license expired 2 months ago so I need to make the laborious trip to the Traffic Department tomorrow to get it renewed

  23. Interesting story, do you think a single coyote would kill one of your dogs in a fight? I guess I'm asking how dangerous are Coyotes? A coyote by himself is not dangerous at all. Even two or three together would not be a serious problem for Sunny & Tommy. It's when you get six, seven or more they are a real threat. But not to me. To get rid of them I walked out on the porch turned on the light and cursed them out... loudly. They scattered. But one coyote would easily eat both rabbits before I could do anything about it. They are more of a nuisance than a threat so I'm usually inclined to leave them be. but a few years ago they got really aggressive so one night I left my grill in the middle of the yard as bait and waited by the loft window. When they came around I shot the biggest one figuring he was the alpha. They stayed away after that. They live in Anderson Tully a management area real close to my house. I think there are two packs that come around periodically but I haven't seen them in a while. I hear them all the time though but they sound far away. Thanks for sharing your view, I enjoy having these types of chats with you because you always provide the right amount of detail about things you are knowledgeable about in a way that is informative...and I know nothing about the bush generally as I have only lived in cities

  25. Clicking at one of the links in your second article I've found something very interesting to read about Canada... http://thefifthcolumnnews.com/2015/03/canadian-intelligence-caught-clandestinely-backing-islamic-state/ What did you find interesting about it? I read the article and initially I would have just dismissed it as your typical anti-Western propaganda that Qistina believes is real but to give them some credit at the end they say the following " While all of this is certainly damning and generates the appearance that the West is actively supporting the Islamic State, there are no credible theories as to why the West would be subverting its own interests. It is possible that this was yet another example of intelligence agencies running amok without proper supervision. Given the volume of factual evidence and the continued stream of anecdotal evidence, we must also consider that the West is involved in a large clandestine operation pursuing interests its citizens are unaware of" So at least they are not drawing " conclusive" evidence. But in summary this is my view of this article, one of the many people who works for Canadian intelligence actually has ideological loyalties to ISIS and is not just supplying information to the West about ISIS he is actually helping ISIS Yes this will occur, ISIS has its sympathizers in every country and some of them I imagine would work for Western governments or at least infiltrate the ones who have operational bases in the ME This DOES not mean the Canadian government is funding ISIS
