Dont you think its odd our American friends cant think of any world leaders they admire? And they being serious
-
Come on? You honestly cant name a leader you respect....I can mention many leaders I know you would respect ? I did. Didn't you read what I wrote? Oh sorry, I assumed you were joking as I meant to say Turnbull doesn't count because everyone knows Australia isn't really a fair representation of a normal country because of how the original immigrants to Oz were criminals and how they massacred the aborigines plus the Australians send all there new arrivals to a island hell hole where sexual abuse is rampant http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/08/11/489659844/australias-immigration-minister-plays-down-claims-of-abuse-on-refugee-island

And GD thinks you have deep insights on the reality of the US political system? When the heck did I ever say such a thing???? You said volo makes sense through his absurdity or something similar ...but he does make sense at times. I have acknowledged this when he does but sometimes his posts have no relevance and just get frustrating People would think they hate 9/11 families or some BS. I doubt the examples Zora mentioned like Pakistan and Chile now suing the USA are practical or realistic. The USA and other Western countries has precedence to intervene in most conflicts so I doubt they could be sued The issue with Saudi Arabia is it is an ally to the West in the fight against extremism but it also has some citizens who do fund and believe in the extremist ideology of AQ or ISIS. But there support of it is secretive, they would be arrested if they publically supported it So now you will have a group of US lawyers just annoying the Saudis because who are they going to sue ? They will find the Saudis understandably unhelpful
-
yes but lets not nitpick, thats white isnt it
-
you incorrigible
-
Who are the families going to sue, I dont understand the objective? We know there was funding from Saudi Arabia but this was not official and was from Saudis who support Islamic extremism ...but its not from the Saudi government ? See below from the article " The Saudi government denies any role in those attacks, and the 9/11 Commission found no evidence that the Saudi government as an institution or senior Saudi officials were involved. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, though. And there have long been suspicions that some of the hijackers received support during their time in the U.S. from individuals with possible connections to the Saudi Kingdom "

Do you seriously asking how accurate data in trollolo video? This video is obviously fake - Russian guy much lighter than Afro-american guy (in other words black guy looks like person who can can solve problem without external help) and a bad actor also - his "agressive" behavior looks so fake for Russians - and they mostly don't react to this. Meanwhile in vice versa situation black guys play their roles much better and attacks much more violently - and Russians react to this. But racism in Russia really existed - Russians hate pureblood Caucasian race so much. http://youtu.be/CXCuWhmB-Ow What race are Russians? I thought you were descendents from the Scandinavians which makes you white ?

But its a serious election considering how Trump has vilified and criticized Obama and dismissed any good he has done ?
-
And GD thinks you have deep insights on the reality of the US political system?
-
SHADY you never complain about much but this perspective from Obama really seems to have annoyed you? This would only apply to people who are committed to the Obama legacy, so if I was a US citizen then it would be relevant to me. But its not relevant to every Democrat and some people will vote for Johnson and Stein Obama is just highlighting a Trump victory will freeze and or undermine his legacy for the next 4 years, so it does matter?

WOD you love your drama don't you I don't see how either of these stories is linked to the USA becoming like the USSR?

Why what were you expecting that would have made it less boring ? The presidential debates are not suppose to be about theatre and entertaining people , they are suppose to be about discussing the issues. They did debate things like the birther controversy, the ISIS strategy, aspects of the economy, tax returns and other topics People keep saying " the debate was boring " so I am interested in what people would like from the agenda ? Trump freaking out ?, that would have been entertaining. Yeah, I want him to completely lose it ...that would be epic
-
No thats not me, volo Trump has done terribly amongst African Americans, he has offended them on numerous opportunities Clinton has over 90 % of the AA vote. It is strange if AA support Trump considering his racist attitude, like the birther scandal, but people are of course entitled to vote for who they want

No male candidate would get this type of criticism in this way ...." I dont like what she says because she is aesthetically displeasing to me " I'm sorry, didn't we spend a little under a decade comparing George Dubya Bush to a monkey and suggesting that's another tip-off he's just not that bright...? Um, no, we didn't? I mean, sure, political cartoonists and the like have always caricatured prominent politicians for laughs, in ways that play into their perceived weaknesses. But nobody was looking at W and saying out loud that "he's so unattractive, I can't bear to listen to him." Anyhow, Bruce missed the worst part of Gfted's post. It was the . So, not only is he judging a female candidate based on her appearance, while considering a male candidate's appearance (correctly) irrelevant to his qualifications, he is also demonstrating that, although he's aware of this judgmental double-standard, he doesn't care that he's perpetuating it. That's institutional sexism in a nutshell right there. But guys on a serious note Enoch is right about institutional sexism and part of it does manifest itself in the unusual way we seem to criticize Hilary. Yes its not that everyone does this and of course reasonable criticism is normal and expected but there is something far too extreme in some of the issues some people have with Hilary I am of the opinion most people dont realize they are actually judging Hilary on a gender bias perspective but it is real. I guess the best way to determine if you are being unfair is to ask yourself the honest question " would I say the exact same thing about my candidate " ?
-
You shouldn't be judging Hilary Clinton on her looks. I appreciate your honesty but your opinion, which probably is not intentional, highlights the constant levels of bias she faces from many of her detractors that a male presidential candidate wouldn't have to face. No male candidate would get this type of criticism in this way ...." I dont like what she says because she is aesthetically displeasing to me " Anyway for the record I thought she looked fine, she also was more presidential than Trump because you can see she really studied the issues and worked hard to prepare for this debate. It was obvious Trump had put no effort into understanding the core issues and he used his usual tactics of hyperbole, theatre and unsubstantiated comments in most of the debate Also when you watch the debate with the twin camera view you can see he starts looking visibly annoyed and frustrated as the debate continues, she remains phlegmatic and reserved most of the time. She has a much better control of her emotions than Trump

Thats a good video, yes racism is a problem in Russian society. This video confirms some of the worst aspects of it, I just am not sure how accurate the data is because the evidence is based on very few examples ?

Outside of Clinton and Trump being abducted by aliens and replaced with better candidates I wouldn't hold out much hope for that. "aliens " Come on my friend, its not that bad I accept Trump may win. I dont believe he will but I also believe Trump wont destroy the USA even if he is president. I guess I firmly see the " glass is half-full " as far as the next US president is concerned
-
GD now that you have had more time to reflect on the debate are you prepared to comment on who you think " won " the debate ? Lets not look at this from an emotional perspective but rather the overall points raised that are based on facts and real issues. For example the fact that Trump wont release his tax returns, again this is unacceptable and should be heavily criticized But I know on November 8 we are all going to lose. Okay, fair enough. You wont comment on who you think " won " this debate...lets wait until we have seen the next 2 debates Then hopefully people will feel more upbeat about the state of the US political system

http://edition.cnn.com/videos/politics/2016/09/27/trump-clinton-hofstra-debate-poll-chalian-sot.cnn So the important CNN poll after this first debate about who " won this debate " puts Clinton on 62 % and Trump on 27 % A resounding victory for the Clinton camp ( yes 10 % more of the people polled are Democratic supporters but still the overall numbers speak for themselves )
