  1. I completed BG2 EE ToB today and it was truly an exciting and brilliant gaming experience. I have now played BG1&2 together and I started with BG1 the end of July, I confirmed now on Steam and I have spent 380 hours on these D&D epic games and it was worth every second These games together score a 80/100 on the globally followed and respected " BruceVC game rating system" and I can imagine what everyone is thinking " thats a high score for BruceVC game rating system " but its a legitimate and scientifically proven score and as I mentioned in a previous post its based on several metrics that include I love all games that use the D&D, or similar, rulesets and FR is my favorite setting The high level battles are varied and exciting, it reminds me of D:OS2 The overall ToB narrative is excellent where you face different Bhaalspawn and where you have to consider your own dark destiny. Side quests are worthwhile and interesting The party interaction and Romance arcs are very entertaining The battles with Draconis, Abazigal and finally Melissan were the hardest and most exciting battles in the series. I was able to defeat Melissan, 4th attempt, by using the following tactics I used spells like breach, warding whip, ruby ray, pierce shield and dispel magic I used summons that included planetars, golems and mordenkainen's sword to distract her summons I used my HLA to attack with my tanks I found lower resistance spells useful and then I bombarded Melissan with Energy Blades I also decided to reject the Bhaal taint and its powers, I was confident my character could ignore its evil but I wanted to be mortal and not face the endless divine temptation and enemies that come with it Great games and highly recommended for all who love party based RPG
  2. I cant believe you had courage to say it, normally saying it on ANY gaming forum leads to permabanning immediately I like you and I hope the moderators show you mercy because you speaking from emotion and thats like mitigating circumtances But you right, consoles eroded and diluted complex RPG....we all know this, we just not allowed to say it anymore
  3. Why do we need any kind of council to tell us what we already know about Putins War and the way Russia has been conducting itself within Ukraine? But terrorism has a specific definition and that definition shouldn't be misused, confused or ignored because we trying to be politically correct or for other reasons. Like when people confuse Islamic extremist attacks which is terrorism with any mass shooting which is not automatically terrorism The definition of terrorism is typically when violence is used to achieve a political objective but it needs to have a political objective or we can start using the word terrorism with any kind of violence? https://www.britannica.com/topic/terrorism For me this is a war and Russia is guilty of numerous and continuous war crimes, I think the West and international law should focus on that?
  4. If this is true ES6 could be the greatest RPG we have seen in the last 20 years....imagine Daggerfall with the advanced modern day features and design mechanics
  5. As far as I am concerned a game can never be woke enough, we should always make games as woke as possible
  6. https://dtf.ru/life/1391622-moskvicha-zaderzhali-za-kospley-boyca-imperskoy-gvardii-iz-warhammer-40-000-ego-kostyum-prinyali-za-nacistskiy Now the Ruskies are arresting WH40K cosplay people....hectic
  7. Nice, I didn't even know about those games
  8. Its actually sad to see the levels of manipulation and copium where some people seem to think Putin is doing " gods work "and fighting the " evil, Western, globohomo system "
  9. But I have already explained that SA doesnt support the invasion of Ukraine but we abstained from all UN votes?
  10. Nah, abstaining is not the same as supporting. SA abstained as usual and our personal justification for this foreign policy inconsistency is " the invasion was wrong and we call for Russia and Ukraine to return to the negotiating table " Supporting of Russia would be voting against the resolution but this vote outcome just increases Russia being isolated on the international stage
  11. Why do you think the current Iranian civil unrest is forgotten by the Western world? The unrest in Iran is covered everyday on all the international channels I have access to but most international journalists and general access to Iran is restricted so its not like access to Ukraine Also as I have mentioned several times a war like Ukraine thats on the border of the EU and directly impacts the stability of the EU is definitely going to be more of a concern to Western countries than a war in Iran or Ethiopia Its the responsibility of institutions like the AU and the ME countries to show the most concern when there are wars in there regions. Dont you think thats reasonable?
  12. So I have decided I am going to play these games next as my fantasy choice, I will start with Kingmaker But as I mentioned I am playing BG1&2 now so when I am finished my gaming code says I have to play a game that isnt from the same genre and mechanics . So I cant play a party based RPG immediately But I will be playing these games in the future How is Kingmaker?
  13. Thats perfect, it sounds like the interesting Romance arcs I appreciate
  14. Yeah its amazing how efficient the FSB becomes when its not the killings of journalists and Russian political opposition members
  15. This game sounds fantastic, I dont much about Pathfinder and that includes the Romance arcs I just want to know if you can Romance the succubus
  16. Can you post links when you make interesting posts like this
  17. What !! You think people are biased against Russia and Putin, whatever gave you that impression Putins unprovoked invasion of Ukraine is a war Vals and yes in a war most people aren't neutral or impartial. Its like WW2 where people were biased against the Nazi and Germany. But in this case its not as broad as that, for example I dont like Putin and those Russians that support him and the sooner he is gone the better But I dont have an issue with the large number of Russians who are opposed to the war or Russia in the future as a responsible member of international community. But right now, yes. I am very much biased and dislike Putin and the direction he has taken Russia
  18. Yes but you cant expect countries that are not part of the direct Western alliance to not buy Russian energy. India is on the side of its own economic trajectory so I cant see why they would not buy cheap Russian energy? But they dont support Russia and its invasion or annexation of parts of Ukraine and we know this because of how they vote in the UN The votes at the UN are not a game and send a clear symbolic message but its a different decision when it comes to energy. Each government has to ensure energy for its citizens and each country will make its own decisions based on their own resources and what is available
  19. https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/world/at-unga-india-votes-to-reject-russia-s-demand-for-secret-ballot-on-ukraine/ar-AA12OUTT Russia suffered another humiliating defeat at the UN around wanting to have a secret ballot around a vote to recognize the 4 illegally annexed areas in Ukraine. To quote " Russia's demand to have a secret ballot on the resolution was rejected after 107 UN member states, including India, voted in favour of a recorded vote " The Ruskies want a secret ballot because they think countries will vote to condemn Russia's actions because they worried about Western blowback. But the real reason is most countries reject Putin's War and the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine because the majority of the world believes in the importance of sovereignty and international borders Its a lonely world for Putin when only 13 countries support you at the UN
  20. Its true, most former Soviet states had been warning us about Putins real hegemony and aspirations and how it was a risk to overall EU and global stability But I thought it was more because they remembered the Soviet occupation and then Merkel\Germany meant well with trying to be more inclusive and less critical of Putin through the years But those days are over now and the likes of Germany and other Western countries are united in understanding the risk Putin poses to the stability of the world. Better late than never?
  21. Thats true, reputational damage lingers and sometimes unfairly Also I am not criticizing anyone because I dont think anyone believed Putin would invade except for @pmp10 I do want to raise one important consideration around the US, after Iraq and the misinformation around WMD many people continued to dismiss all intelligence reports up to 20 years later So my question is this, how do we separate examples of misinformation and lies about geopolitical events during one US presidency from future intelligence reports? Because the US intelligence reports that they share with the world has been more or less accurate and fair sinde Iraq?
  22. Dont be too hard on yourself, before Putins war and the invasion most of us were saying things like " Putin would never be that stupid and invade Ukraine " and then some people were hand-waving the US accurate intelligence with comments like " LOL...you can never trust US intelligence. Remember Iraq and WMD" @Darkpriest still needs to send us the video of him eating his hat
  23. Or the US breaks ties until Putin is gone and there is a more rational person in charge?I think we underestimate how a single leader can influence a country and how other countries engage with that country look at Mugabe (Zimbabwe), Franco (Spain) or Pinochet (Chile )
  24. @Valsuelm Im glad you responded but I disagree with you on lots of things that include you cant separate Putin and his autocratic leadership, which undermines normal freedoms that exist in the US like the right to protest and the right to criticize any war, from the invasion of Ukraine They are inextricably connected because this is Putins War and his dysfunctional and sociopathic personality is a huge part of the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine and the war crimes committed by the Russian military just make things worse You will find very little sympathy or resonance on this forum for Putin and his invasion
  25. I think he means its not going to deter the Ukrainian war effort and its not, they will continue to fight against the unprovoked Russian invasion
