http://www.izakayamatsuri.com/ We went to this brilliant, authentic Japanese sushi restaurant last night called Izakaya Matsuri , do you know it takes 10-30 years in Japan to master the techniques of sushi making!!! Imagine spending 30 years learning how to perfect something, that takes serious commitment and belief in what you doing https://chefzoeescher.com/how-long-does-it-take-to-become-a-sushi-chef-in-japan/ I love Sushi, its always so different and I love the variety of different tastes. And its lower in fat than meat and good for you when you dieting, I had deep fried pork dumplings for a starter and Rainbow roll for my main and my sister and stepmom gave me several pieces of there sushi and crab starters. I love eating with women, they seem to feel guilty about eating there whole meal and I always seem to score

Fair enough but there still seems to be more banning of Conservative views. Its not me that is saying this, Musk is the one saying Twitter needs to be freed https://www.thestreet.com/technology/elon-musk-sends-special-message-after-twitter-takeover?puc=yahoo&cm_ven=YAHOO&yptr=yahoo The thing about life is " perception is reality" and many people have said there is inconsistent monitoring of peoples comments on Twitter. To quote Musk "One of Musk's big complaints about Twitter is that the tweet inhibits the expression of all opinions " Now people say Musk likes to troll and is just being controversial. But he just spent $44 billion to stand by what he clearly believes. Maybe we should accept there is problem with Twitter if someone is prepared to spend that much money to change things ?

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/elon-musk-officially-closes-twitter-011027946.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall Musk takeover of Twitter is completed and his had fired 4 executive He is also likely to restore Trumps account which I support. We have to be consistent on what we consider freedom of speech is and the problem with banning Trump is it fed the right wing hyperbolic narrative that " freedom of speech is under attack" in the US Also there does seem to be more Conservatives that get banned on Twitter for spreading fake news yet you dont see people on the left and there fake news or revisionist history being banned So I support Twitter going back to its original purpose, a place of free speech for everyone. People will believe what they want to believe but these types of SM platforms need to be neutral. Hate speech wont be allowed " Musk also promised that Twitter would not turn into a “free-for-all hellscape, where anything can be said with no consequences!” which is reassuring

Ukraine Conflict - "An empire founded by war has to maintain itself by war"
Yes I agree but the point is the ships are idle because of logistics problems like limited capacity to serve ships or storage capacity But your post suggested the ships are idle because they can make more money waiting to sell on future market. But they not idle because they holding back on purpose to make more money. They idle because of capacity to serve ships?

Yes the article mentions that. What I have found interesting about the whole gas potential crisis in the EU is how relatively quickly the EU was able to mitigate the Russian blackmail and obvious deliberate attempt to throttle gas to the likes of Germany and other countries using Russian gas On Codex you had these Vatniks celebrating how " EU citizens were going to freeze to death " due to lack of gas and high prices but the response from the EU has been effective and it should be recognized Its a good thing to be part of the EU, despite its problems it offers more advantages than disadvantages 🇪🇺

The good news is we dont need oil price caps anymore because the oil price has dropped and so has the gas price. Gas price is down to pre-war levels Ironically its the other way around, Putin was trying to use the economic leverage of throttling gas and hoping the oil price would rise exponentially. So we can happy that this energy blackmail is unlikely to work The only potential concern is OPEC+ reducing oil production in November but we dont know the impact of this because supply and demand realities will influence this

https://www.thesouthafrican.com/news/us-embassy-south-africa-terrorist-attack-sandton-breaking-26-october/ South Africa has received an alert from the US about a possible Islamic extremist attack this weekend. Its gay pride this weekend in the area mentioned so people are nervous. The last US alert we got was initially ignored and handwaved with the outdated " its Islamophobia to suggest this " card and then several South Africans were arrested with links to ISIS and they were planning an attack https://www.thesouthafrican.com/news/south-africa/thulsie-twins-plea-bargain-sentenced-breaking-7-february-2022/ We have never had a real Islamic extremism attack before but several African countries face this type of terrorism fairly regularly. In fact Africa is the only continent that still does because of active groups like Boko Haram and Al-Shabaab One of the biggest concerns for me is we have no effective state security or experience with dealing with type of terrorism so I hope nothing transpires?

What do you mean by Western hegemony? In the 19th century and before hegemony was defined by territory and size of empire because having lots of colonies gave you advantages like access to minerals and cheap labor Those days are long gone and countries dont need that kind of control to be economically or militarily powerful. So the view that the West use to own 90% of things I dont understand how that changes the influence of the West which is economic influence only Because firstly the West is not monolithic and consists of different countries and they dont have the same goals or geopolitical aspirations and then major global events and policies are influenced through the UN unless Western stability is directly threatened like with Putin's War which means you would understandably see a Western response And then what emerging markets do you think will surpass Western economic influence and in what way? And the reason I ask is economic hegemony is organic and it cant change through ideology, it requires successful and sustainable policies

Yes I agree about Taiwan, its so far removed from significant US\Western interests it doesnt seem like its worth a conventional or serious trade war with China. Taiwan is complicated But Ukraine is different because this is about drawing a line to end Putins constant militancy, hegemony and warmongering. Also the invasion destabilizes the EU and Putin has made this about the West and blamed the US\NATO specifically. So I consider the support for Ukraine different to support for the Taiwan But end of the day Putin created this proxy war and the West will finish it
