never played the campaign for the A-10 in DCS, it's not designed for multiplayer, but can be edited for that. so, it's possible, yes. I mostly play MP coop, there are some tough multiplayer missions. and then we can always download new coop missions

I have no interest in WWII planes, but call me if you ever get DCS, especially the A-10C

so how's the combat in Blackguards?

I recommend reading the book. compared to it the documentary felt a bit underwhelming. I especially disliked how it was filmed centered on Scahill looking for the story rather than on the the story unwinding before us. to get back on track: watched the original The Heartbreak Kid. I didn't like the remake with Stiller, but after reading Roger Ebert's piece on the original movie I thought I just had to watch it. and it is great. I don't want to compete with Ebert, since I'll never be able to sell this movie better than he, so here's his review: http://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/the-heartbreak-kid-1972 I'll just say that the ending reminded me of The Graduate, only I liked Grodin's character in this a lot more than Hoffman's in that one. and Cybill Shepherd is just fantastic.

wow, talk about differences in opinions. I hated Frozen. I don't think there was a single thing in it that didn't make me roll my eyes. especially the writing, dialogues sound as if they were written by a 12 year old

I guess you're right, that's the bottom line - how successful the product is. I guess I'm just upset people support products I don't like. I'd much rather see game companies push themselves and genres they work on forward.

clicking all the white icons on the screen != solving puzzles clicking through dialogue != playing a game walking from one screen to the next != exploration clicking through a QTE != combat

I don't think what The Walking Dead has qualifies as "gameplay"

I liked Venetica but then my PC died with my install, and I don't have access to my installation disk anymore...

judging by YouTube videos those game are just a string of QTEs. with clicking on icons on your screen in-between (not even pixel hunting, what has the genre come to?!). I watched the first hour of gameplay from the first TWD game, and it was the most boring adventure game I'd seen. that Wolf game is pretty much the same, it's an interactive story (I'm not sure if you consider those "games")

considering McConaughey took home all pre-Oscars Best Actor awards, I'd bet my money on him. his role in DBC is the usual Oscar-bait-lose/gain-weight business on a different note, watched Blue Is The Warmest Color. I watched it in french so I missed half of the dialogue (and I didn't feel like reading subtitles), but the movie still had me sitting still for more than 2 hours. it's an interesting look at love, how it transcends genders, how it can find you when you least expect it, and how it can hurt you. the sex scenes are awful, though. felt like watching soft porn. I understand why they were included, but I just couldn't help myself and skipped them

actually, if I were to bet on it, my money would be on Cate Blanchett getting the Oscar in the Best Actress category

oh, come on... Jennifer Lawrence doesn't even look the part, she was so out of place in it she's a good actress, but there's no comparing them really, different leagues.
