Am I? People want to a adopt a baby, the older s/he is the less likely there is someone willing to adopt him/her. That is the problem, there are many childen wanting to be adopted but few babies and so the babies get adopted as the older children continue to wait. I doubt gay couples are diferent, most want to adopt a baby and not a child.

Disprove the Theory of Evolution then. And sorry but lossing wings (as well your other examples) is a genetic mutation and very much a part of evolution.

I am not misquoting. There are rights there are privilages. You dont have the right to adopt a child, you have the privilage to adopt a child. There are many issues with legal adoptation, the issue comes with the idea of going to adoption agency and register to adopt a child. Some people dont have that right, if I have a history of child abuse there is no way in hell I am going to be allowed to adopt a child but I could adopt a adult.

I dont think so, I am not going to say gay couples would grow up gay people but it would confuse the child at some point over the sexuality (that is unavoidable) witn makes less preferable as a single person wanting to adopt. Adoption is not a right, its a privilage. No diferent that driving, you dont have the right to drive a car, you have the privilage of being allowed to drive a car. Some people cannot have a privilage, a blind person cannot drive. In adoption there is the fact the welfare of the child is of upmost importance.

And how you feel about teaching religion as science? Problem with god is that god can explain everything and so science can never use god as a agent. If you take Genesis as factual truth then you have to ignore a lot fossil and geological evidence. There is no debate over evolution and creationism, one is supported by evidence as the other is not.

There are a lot of theories that disprove Genesis and a lot of the Old Testement, we take the Ice Age for granted and yet there are no references to the one that humans experienced. The issue is with the fanatics that want to see the Bible (or whatever) as the ultimate reference to science and history and in the case of evolution vs creationism its the christians that are taking the front seat. If Genesis is the foundation of your faith ... well its not much of a faith.

Evolution can be a stick to beat most religions since they have a creation myth that is disproved by Darwin's theory.

How God did it? Sorry but religion anwer was that God did the unknown, we did not know how life come to exist and so religion anwer was that God did it. Yes, we dont know the origin of the first cell organisms. We are making some progress with now finding cell life in another planets (and moons) but there is still the question how they got there in the first place and how it end up on Earth. The problem with religion is what its not know its God that made it as science says "we dont know" and goes looking for the anwer.

There is no evidence of any inteligent design on evolution. Some times evolution screws up, the dinos for examples were (almost) wiped out because of radical enviroment changes and died out, if there was a God that knows all and had a hand in evolution he surely would have made then evolve in order to survive. Unless he left then died because its "God's plans" with is nothing but a excuse when "theories" about God being behind something fall apart. Unless, of course, "God" could not care less ...

The only way to prove a theory is to replicate it. Naturaly we cannot replicate over 10 million years of evolution in a lab but there are supporting evidence (fossils for example) that supports the theory of evolution is for most part correct. There is no "faith" on the evolution process, there is supporting evidence as for evolutionary process that happening by sheer chance that is incorrect since evolution is the adaptation (and expecialization) of life forms to their enviroment and there is no "sheer chance" on that, if a species grows wings there is a reason for it. And that is supported by fossil evidence.

Rubbish. Its called Theory of Evolution for a very good reason, it cannot be proven. But there are many evidence that the theory of evolution is, for most part, correct.

But its ends up being since its the church dogma. That is a issue with most faiths that based their dogma in a document, the holy roman catholic church does not grant women the same rights as males have in the church hierarchy even now. The issue because strong and religions split, the "cults" we see now are exactly the same of what happened with the protestant movements of centuries ago. Also if you read the bible there is no mistake over what is the word of God since they almost flat out write "God come to me and said".
