  1. Still playing NWN2. Tried fighting a red dragon. I couldn't even scratch it
  2. Anchorage was pretty ****ing depressing, along with Mothership Zeta.
  3. Well, damn. That is rather sad. Hopefully these won't be too light on content though.
  4. Eh? The Witcher is pretty good.
  5. I hate all the DLC talk around the internet. It's just so early, the game is not even out yet. Also I very much hate DLC in general. We need more expansions. If Obsidian does get to make DLC, I hope they don't go for the Operation Anchorage kind of thing.
  6. The very best part of it for me is not being able to steamroll through the wasteland doing whatever the **** I want without getting killed. I hope traveling is risky. I'm just wondering how difficult the higher levels can be though. Wonder how the high level areas are handled.
  7. The CrispyGamer preview is particularly enjoyable to read. I recommend reading that one over most others.
  8. God damn that looks fantastic. I wonder if my poor 8800gt will be able to max it still D: I doubt it though. It is sad.
  9. This thread went through a lot. Moved to Computer and Console, then moved back to DS3.
  10. What the Beth guy has done hurt my feelings too, even if I haven't been spoiled yet. But I'm sure I will eventually. Still, what happened today is a terrible tragedy and I'll still remember this day for years to come.
  11. Oh yeah, Dr. Horrible. How could I forget?
  12. She doesn't have any major voice acting roles that I can recall, but she's pretty great in The Guild and I enjoy knowing she's in NV. Definitely good news in my book.
  13. Started replaying the campaign on brutal. Needless to say, I am enraged.
  14. I, too, prefer to feel like I'm on a long journey. I don't mind occasionally stopping at towns to rest, do local side quests etc, but I do want to get moving after a while. Always going forward.
  15. No offense meant buddy, but it was already posted a couple of pages ago, and in the Torchlight thread too. Aww
  16. I've always wondered how that works too.
  17. Managed to finish the final mission this time.
  18. Chose Warfield because I'm afraid of Brood Lords. The final mission is fantastic. I got utterly destroyed last time I tried. I steamrolled through most of the campaign and I can't beat this mission. I love it. I'm annoyed that I'll try it again and go to bed.
  19. The problem I have with these missions is that they give you a new unit in almost every single mission. It's like "here's how you win", plus I have a few years of SC1 experience (I'm not saying I'm good, I'm a noob compared to most), but still add up these two and it equals extremely easy missions for me. Those missions, while definitely fun and well made, leave extremely little room for experimentation. I'm fine with that kind of mission sometimes but I mostly don't want to be told what to do. I wanted them to give me the objective "do this", and let me figure out how to do it. That's what I'm hoping for in the final missions, and this drop pods one seems to deliver that. I wasn't in the mood to multitask as heavily as the drop pods mission seemed to demand, I was tired. I'll try it later.
  20. I reached the first Char mission, the one with the drop pods. I complained before that the missions were too easy, even though I'm playing on hard. Well, that's mostly true, but it seems I've finally got some challenging missions ahead of me. It happened very late into the game, 22 missions out of 26 if I'm not mistaken, but still it's good to have a few of them. Tried it for about 15 minutes and I swear I kept hearing "your base/your ally's base is under attack" EVERY GODDAMN MINUTE, because apparently EVERYTHING was under attack AT ALL TIMES, so I rage quit "I'M NOT IN THE MOOD FOR THIS". I'll try it later today when I'm fully rested and in a good mood for infuriating missions. I hope the rest of the game is as challenging as this mission seems to be.
  21. Look at this thread.
  22. I'm playing SC2 now and funnily enough I truly miss those long, arduous missions. All SC2 missions feel far too short and too easy, even on hard. And the cutscenes in SC were indeed a good reward imo. The SC campaign just satisfies me entirely overall, unlike the SC2 campaign. It's definitely great fun, but it's just too short and easy! That's my only problem with it. I think there needed to be one or two seiges in SC2. Not have every mission be an hour long war, but one or two missions where there wasn't an objective with a time limit, where you had to annihilate a massive well built, well fortified base without the help of a special unit. With an AI that actually has a brain/bonuses. Yeah that's exactly what I mean! I don't need all the missions to be difficult/long, but I wanted *some* of the missions to be that way, without special objectives! Also I wish I could find the current Terran music. I can only find "SC2 beta soundtrack", but some of those tracks have been replaced with new ones. I wanted to listen to those new ones (that I love) out of the game some time.
  23. I haven't got enough piranhas
