Meh, I've managed to attract one hell of a cold; sore throat, nasty cough, blocked nose - ****ing everything. Same with a friend of mine, but he got better by now, I've been ill since monday and I've getting worse. -.- I ****ing hate my immunesystem.

I did get to use that frown later at the night when people started to discuss their bedroom habits and fantasies. DAYMN... O.O It did end up being a good party, except that there was some "dropin" people that came by, so the party went from 9 to 15 people. The bulb might not have been seated properly in the fixture, the sound you heard might've just been the spark from electricity making a small jump in switch or the fixture. Easily mistaken sound in the middle of the night. One of the most common things I did suring my internship as an electrician was screwing in the lightbulbs properly. It could also be the switch itself that is giving up, though that is more rare. But since you said you had several lights it might be that, or there is something wrong with the fusebox I suppose. You might want to check the fixtures themselves aswell, they might be a bit worn down if they are old. Was it the ground fault interruptor that engaged or the fuse itself? Happy birthday!

My friends are awesome people, but two of the girls happen to be sisters, and they're not exactly happy about that crossover. Heh, it might aswell be since it's going to be held on midsummers eve 60 km away, so it's kind of hard to leave at that point. I'm not terribly worried about them being different people, since we have all met at the same time and such, just not with alcohol involved and I was'nt the... uhm... ninth wheel? I'm pretty certain that I will be sidelined though as you said.

Hmm.. Do you have any tips on how you can make a dog stop barking like crazy on new arrivals, dogs and strangers? My mothers dog is annoying as hell for this very reason.

I just got a phonecall from my friends inviting me to a midsummer party, borrowing my friends parents house for the occasion, and I can't decide if I want to go. I hate parties normally, since they tend to be 20 to 30 people going nuts and being loud as hell, but this time they've "taken that into consideration" so it'll just be the old gang... and their girlfriends. So four couples and me. Not tempted by that, but they are my mates. So torn.

Well, I'm not a computer expert or anything of the sort, but I can't find anything that is wrong at my end, and most other users here does'nt seem to have any problems. And I have no problems on most other sites, it's just a few select ones, but I have no problems viewing .png images or .gif on other adresses.

Nah, not done any new installs or anything, I've cleared cache's, history and all those deals. Reinstalled Firefox (Wich I regret, latest version looks like ****.), it did'nt help, no other browser alleviates the issue, restarting the computer did'nt help either. Hard reloads does'nt help. If I rightclick the "jump to post" icon and select view image, I get denied access to for instance; http://content.forums.obsidian.net/public/style_images/obsidian/snapback.png Going to wait until I go to bed and unplug the router and see if it's an IP problem or something, I'm not alone either; http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/66325-most-ui-icons-and-small-icons-suddenly-just-xs-on-the-forums/

@Walsingham; You almost killed me with that, damn near choked on my tea! @Woldan; I'm a skeptic, but I'm starting to think the same thing. I can't resolve it, and it does'nt make any sence! It seems I can't access some individual adresses for some reason.

You too? I have the same problem as you, and 9gag and tumblr image sites won't display properly either.

Don't have any, adblock only, but since it persists even in explorer and chrome, I don't think it would be that anyway.

Uninstalled and reinstalled the latest Firefox, guess I have to try chrome or something. Nope, nothing of that helped. Can't see images and stuff from 9gag either, same problem there. Frickin weird.

It's weird as hell, the only problem I can seem to find is that I can't find the obsidian forum content server or something like that.

Is anyone else having troubles with the forums today with icons not showing and similar?
