Sorry, I meant a "professional musician" with more talent than Justin Bell. Favorably someone with a degree in music and composition and not in sound design.Yeah, except Justin has a degree in compositioApart from that he also has multiple years of experience scoring for tv and movies. A short trailer is not a reason to demean him forever. There were better (no offense justin) composers that made bigger missteps. Not to mention it's easy to see how this could have gotten wrong. Among other things general direction that he was given and trying to evoke the first PE kickstarter video music. Which I imagine is why the first part doesn't mesh well with the second.

Nope. It was bad. And half of those developer interviews were terrible and dragged lut with dumb questions. Not to mention the useless cameraman, the arguments, the teleprompter failings, the stupid sketches by idiotic youtube celebs(making other vma's look good) and so on. It was a mess.

Because there aren't many gaming award shows. And from the very few that are acceptable none has the same amount of exposure. Like, the Spike Awards is how the world sees gaming. Granted, that might not be true anymore considering now its just streamed.

Two of the reveals have been leaked thanks to them strea, ing the rehearsal without noticing. Telltale Game of Thrones and a new game by the Joe Danger guys.

Yeah it was. I regret not having changed the title before it locked me out. -

Yeah, i gave a little more than $10 (And would have given a lot more if I wouldn't have been broke at the time) and have been supporting Obsidian (and not just the company, but the people in it) for a little while longer and stronger than the kickstarter. This also entitles me to nothing and shouldn't play any role here. It may make me emotional though. Yes. I'm a bit amused about the accusations of nerd rage, considering I have been backing down fast even before Adam posted including apologizing for using the word lying during my first posts (though I didn't even use it in the OP). Explaining my motivations better. And saying theres probably a good explanation when Adam read the thread. Anyway, I got a great post by Adam Brennecke out of it, so I'm satisfied and hopefully in the future they are more clear on thses matters. Communication, yo. -
Stick of Truth + Matt and Trey will appear according to Geoff's twitter

btw I see Adam reading the thread - good guy Adam gives the straight answers *thumbsup* I think we'll get a good enough explanation and by next week its forgotten anyway Still I hope its going to be communicated more clearly in the future. Can't stay mad at Obs -

C2B replied to C2B's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Thats totally fine, but the following week somehow a handful of major bugs have arisen? In that case it wasn't ready last week either. Regardless of thanksgiving support. Lie was a strong word I used and I apologize for that. I still think its a bit dishonest on the other hand. Better communication could have solved this, -

C2B replied to C2B's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Not that part of the update. Saying its because you can't guarantee support, then next week talking about still having to fix a handful of major bugs. So, it wasn't ready last week. That's ok. But, then just say that. -
Seriously? What the hell?
C2B replied to C2B's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
And they posted in the previous update that the site wouldn't be up. That's fine with me and goes with what I said months ago. I was very doubtful it would be up and still think it 'might' be up before Christmas. Fine with me too. If you remember from that thread I was the one ranting against people demanding the backer website early. What's important to me is good and honest communication. If I seez bull**** I call it. (Addmintingly a bit theatralic, but I do enjoy the drama queen) -

They did? Read Sensuki's post again. That WAS them. What are you talking about. The excuse last week is ok on its own. Great even. The problem is that it looses credibility in light of this weeks. If they weren't ready they should have said so. No problem. They didn't though and thats the dishonest part for me and the part that disappoints me. (I don't even really care about the update itself)
