  1. Yes, co-develop. They hired people for it, but those are working FOR Obsidian. (Including Fallout 2 producer Eric DeMilt who seems to lead the Obsidian side of the project )
  2. Btw. Reading your neogaf post. Obsidian is working more or less on 5 games at the moment - South Park: STOS - Next-Gen Project (On Cryengine) - Pillars of Eternity - Skyforge MMO co-development - 2nd Kickstarter Project preparation/planning
  3. If somebody wonders. The San Francisco GDC will be mid-march.
  4. Many congratulations to Katrina Schnell. She started only 4 months ago in september 2013 as an intern in production on Project Eternity. She worked on the trailer shown as well as providing her musical talents playing the violin. Now, she can call herself Associate Producer, working on PE as well as the unannounced Obsidian project, Awesome job and we hope you have a great future at Obsidian!!!

  6. Mention that Polina Hristova updated her portfolio page.
  7. Amor Santos Charachter Animator http://www.amorsantos.com/
  8. Welcoming Amor Santos, Gameplay Charachter Animator Worked at High Moon and Double Helix before where she was an animator for Fall of Cybertron, Deadpool and Killer Instinct respectivly.
  9. That guy that stands besides him, looks very much like him.. I wont be surprised if its a honorary writer title as a favor to his relative, so that they can get more attention to this project. Its not.
  10. Good time management? While its still a lot of free time he is investing, he only has a small role in all of those projects (Not sure regarding the Grimrock fan movie), and they're pretty spaced out.
  11. That sounds horribly confusing for party management. Where's the overview?
  12. There's a very easy way to do this. Don't. It's usually what I do when a series takes a very stupid turn. Just choose a cut-off point and figure out for yoirself how things would be going from there. Saves you headaches.
  13. I originally backed during the Kickstarter, but had the wrong pledge tiers shown on the fullfillment site. This didn't really matter as I upgraded to the 500 tier anyway, but it would be nice if I got my Kickstarter badge too.
  14. You have to remember though that you're not working with accurate numbers there. Employees that aren't on Linkedin, haven't updated their profiles or are working for a completly different company with the same name in a different country. It's probably a good estimate anyway.
  15. Considering I made a thread wishing farewell to Obsidianities who leave I thought it might be neat to make a thread welcoming new ones and congratulate members on promotions. (I apologize for every Obsidian member I'm going to miss. ) And we're starting with Carrie Patel Having gotten the contract writer position that was posted for Project Eternity she now works as a narrative designer on it. All the best and we're looking forward to your work! And we're congratulating Zachary Simon After starting as a audio intern on South Park in march this year he has now moved up in the world to a position that actually gets him paid! As of this month he can call himself Junior Sound Designer at Obsidian.
  16. We wish you a very happy time with your friends and/or family and hope you guys can look back on a (overall) wonderful year. May the next be too. - The Community
  17. Starting off with John Perez (Storyboard/Cinematic Artist) who left Obsidian yesterday according to his twitter. (Worked on North Carolina and South Park) Much success in your future and I can't wait to play South Park!!
  18. I wondered about that too. That part didn't come with a direct quote though, so maybe its just RPS assuming.
  19. “There’s something we’re talking about that I think would be really cool, but it’s not an original property,” he says. “It’s a licensed property. But it’s not Alpha Protocol! It’s something we can still do a ton of creative stuff with, though. And then the other thing is an original property. Also, there’s a third thing that somebody approached us with, but I really don’t think that’s going to work out.”
