  1. You should ask Pagliarulo. But really, Oblivion doesn't have that much dialogue as far as I remember. Yeah, the world is big, I mean, REALLY big, but the npcs always say the same things (Fallout 3 was a huge step forward from that pov imho).
  2. That sounds interesting but; feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, doesn't DA:O 2 happens 10 years after the main storyline with completely new characters. Is there some kind of carryover or just a canon ending? DA2 starts during the blight in the first game(Lothering). You then play through the next 10 years. Wait a minute, 10 years of gameplay!? It's done like in Alpha Protocol, with flashbacks and narration.
  3. Indeed Paul managed to make things right in the end. Germany is 3rd. We'll see tomorrow if Spain is the winner.
  4. Paul is striking again... EDIT : ... or not?
  5. http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showt...p;#entry1053645 Assuming that they show footage of Dungeon Siege III too, this may mean that they'd reveal a bit more before (I can't imagine showing footage at a presentation without at least releasing a couple of screenshots before, especially since this isn't a presentation dedicated to the game).
  6. That's another problem with the wheel, though you're going into an hyperbole. I don't see much difference between that and offering you 10 unvoiced options which are answered the same way though. By the way, surprisingly, Alpha Protocol didn't suffer from that problem, even if I can't imagine Obsidian having a bigger budget than Bioware for the project.
  7. Not if the surprises come from 'my' character. But maybe you're right, it should have been evident that Shepard is Bioware's character, and I was simply the one directing it. Bummers that they're following the same route with Dragon Age though (not that it's nearly enough to make me go 'RUINED FOREVER!' but it is disappointing imho).
  8. E.g. summary was something among the lines of 'you should have informed the husband about that'. What Shepard does? Grabs the guy by the collar and threatens him among the line of 'go and inform the family'. NICE! Alpha Protocol had the same problem.
  9. You should have pre-ordered Monkey Island 2 when you could, you could have got both games at the price of one.
  10. So you prefer to guess what your PC is going to say? With bad voiceacting to boot? Because that was my experience with the wheel in ME. Wasn't nice. At all.
  11. Albatross - 21 (-1) He disappointed me. I expected more from his character. Henry Leland - 20 Konstantin Brayko- 17 Omen Deng- 27 SIE- 28 Scarlet Lake- 30 (+1) I expected much less from her instead.. Sis- 27 Steven Heck - 21
  12. According to a Biowarian the graphics are just a marginal step up from DA:O, so maybe there's still hope for people with low-end rigs.
  13. I haven't played ME2, but isn't that a problem Bioware has had since forever? The only game I don't remember having this problem was Baldur's Gate, but the companions were practically mooks at your orders.
  14. At least going by the BioWare thread, it looks like the PC combat system is safe (+10 points for me). I'm not sure if they're simply improving the console control scheme or changing the combat system for the PS3/X360 versions.
  15. I don't know.. it looked.. clunky to me. Like it wanted to be a third person shooter with the elf chick, instead of letting you play an archer. At least it looked good.
  16. Dragon Protocol II so? R00fles! Not excited though, leave Mass Effect and Alpha Protocol where they are and let Dragon Age be its own game. Meh.
  17. IIRC there was a melee weapon in the inventory of the second part of the demo, so if the previewer was willing to try melee vats moves he/she could. They showed the companion wheel in various videos, same with some new weapons, including the super anticipated anti-materiel rifle and its 'knocking you back' animation. It could have been better true, but I don't think it was that bad.
  18. Well, it's King Foltest sending Geralt on a mission. He could have sent Triss too, just to keep him in check. As for the Scoia'tael, why not? You always ended up with the same cutscene in the end game. Same with the Order of the Rose, in the end you still fight its leader , so.. yeah.
  19. Well for me it was more like 'we're showing The Strip.. you see? different from Fallout 3, right?', so it was just a natural consequences that they'd show the casino minigames. Don't forget that they showed things like the casino bouncer taking weapons, the use of sneak to.. well.. sneak a couple of weapons in the casino, the fact that you can 'break' them etc..
  20. Actually, it will. They can just as easily give you a 'KOTOR2/ME2' type of introduction to decide on previous choices in case you don't have a save though.
  21. Hunted : The Demon's Forge gameplay. Can't say I'm thrilled. EDIT : And another and another gameplay video.
  22. A system proven to be worse than worst? Hopefully not.
