Fallout: New Vegas
If you mean Obsidian's game, it will depend on the publisher. If you mean Bethesda's ones, then yeah, apparently now all their new games will use Steamworks.

Fallout: New Vegas
Whining about replacing one useless collectible trinket w/ another. Glad F:NV forums are there. Just take into account that if Obsidian was as successful as it wanted to be we'd probably have posts like that here too. *shudders*

Fallout: New Vegas
There's apparently a ****storm at the Bethesda's boards because in that preview it was revealed that the equivalent of bobbleheads in Fallout : New Vegas will be snowglobes. WHAT THE [censored]!!!!!!!!!?? Their snowglobes. Who the hell wants to collect them in real life, let alone in a post apocalyptic video game. Edit: Sorry for rage but omg is true

Alpha Protocol dev diary by Alex Brandon
Strangely enough, while the main theme itself didn't do much for me, the various hubs theme helped a lot in setting the mood for me, especially Taipei (the Hong Shi conversation was just fabulous with that oriental theme in the background). And yeah, it's a shame that he isn't working on Obsidian anymore, he seems to be a pretty committed and passionate guy too, which definitely helps.

Tired Dev semi-officially debunked. ? People have different opinions of other people. Tired dev could as well be someone who was very bitter at Parker because he was fired by him, just saying. Not that I have any element to know whether his account is true or not.

Fallout: New Vegas
So they have.. in-game achievements? Unless it's done like Alpha Protocol, then I would enjoy it.

Dragon Age 2
Something that didn't look blurry and low res? I personally don't care much about graphics, and I'm sure that by the time DAII comes out it will be a fine looking game, but those ground textures, the general lack of lighting are really impossible to defend.

Dragon Age 2
To be fair, I don't think I've ever seen a review praising DA:O's graphics. Granted, most didn't think it was much of a problem that the game didn't have striking visuals, but they definitely didn't praise its graphics.

Agreed. They cost too much but are ineffective. The reaction to the Deus Ex Human Revolution trailer tells me something else entirely... Okay. I was hyped for 5 minutes. 5 minutes. Huh? I wasn't talking just about you, but rather, of this whole forum and a couple of other ones I stop by. Cinematic trailers may be expensive but when they are done right they DO generate a lot of interest.

Fallout: New Vegas
In the case of Fallout 3, I found side quest consistently more rewarding than the main narrative, so I can understand people being pissed off, especially since the ending was really really unsatisfying. But I'm fine with Fallout having an ending, even after the Bethesda change, it still is a different franchise from the Elder Scrolls, and one of the appeal for me has always been seeing the ending slides... I can understand why Sawyer doesn't want to jeopardize them.

Dragon Age 2
I think they've actually talked about less talents but upgradeable. EDIT : Note that they've changed the screenshots on GameInformer with some 'updated' versions :

So who is working on this game?
As far as I understand from his wiki page, he actually only did the music for the trailer cinematics of Dungeon Siege II. It was Jeremy Soule that did DS's soundtrack.

Dragon Age 2
Apparently GameStar has also posted a 2-pages article giving us some new info about the game. New info (grabbed it from a summary on the Bioware's boards since my german is grade schooler level and I didn't really even check the article): * new combo system for melee and mage classes * finishing moves for the mages Some characters: Bethany: mage sister of Hawke Cassandra: inquisitor with interest in Hawke Varric: dwarven friend of Hawke and narrator
