As that geneticist said when being interviewed and was asked why he specialised in his subject matter "I have a dream." The reporter turned a little snarky on it and was all "What, cure cancer, feed world hunger?" The geneticist replied "No. A redhead. 5'7. 36-24-36 and with legs up to...." But seriously, yes, physical attraction is nice, but it's not going to kick off beyond aesthetic appreciation if you can't enjoy yourself in the company of whoever your with. The person who you can just relax and BE when you're together. The ones who can get your personal crazy, and accept it happily without trying to change it. Hell, if you can't laugh together during sex, what's going to be the point of it in the long run? And frankly, whether your minds mesh and your chemistry clicks can vary wildly on so many small things.

I was just seeing extreme passive-aggressive rather than actual sub/dom from that direction...

Well, technically isn't the Guns of the Magnificent Seven and The Magnificent Seven Ride count more as sequels that just re-tread the same ground rather than "remakes" ? Still the circle that amuses me is the Yojimobo one. Yojimbo was written inspired by a Dashiel Hammett book that was set in a prohibition era USA ghost town. Yojimbo got the "Hollywood remake" as it were with A Fistful of Dollars. Then back in the 90's, A Fistful of Dollars was remade with Bruce Willis as Last Man Standing.. set in a prohibition era USA ghost down. So the remake of the remake was actually closer to the original story that started it all..

I'm still running through all the fun of job hunting. And having those points of helping dad sort out mom's stuff to get rid off or tidy up or what have you. I think we're still going to be finding bits and pieces for the next decade. Having a minor grouch with the Jobcentre people, my fortnightly sign-in next week clashes with an actual job interview, but they won't let me reschedule it properly. I just get told "if you don't turn up you will potentially lose your jobseeker benefits, and we can't reschedule it but you have 5 days to turn up and wait around and maybe you'll get seen if there's a spare moment, so you might be waiting for a few hours or not get seen that day and have to come back. But if you don't get it done in 5 days you'll lose your benefits."
