  1. Well, ME does have the contiguous story. You load up from the previous game into the next one. There is a 2 year gap between games that they could mess with. So mini-shep (assuming either Mommy Liara or Male Shep) would be a toddler if he did exist. And given how things have been going in the romances I've unlocked in ME, It feels like the ones from the first games were more entangling (Except for Jack, but she seems like she'd be perfectly fine in a polygamous situation) than in the second (where the sex just felt like "oh, you exhausted all the dialogue options with this member of the opposite gender, here, have pg sex"). And in Alpha Protocol, you can get REALLY entangled with one person in particular, and can boff a few others. Looking at their personalities, one wouldn't keep the kid, one would probably weigh her options financially and emotionally, and a third would leverage her swelling belly into all sorts of benefits. Assuming that they survive that is. If I were writing ME2 and wanted to have this in there? I'd have Liara become a parent, and have a scene where she's talking harsh to an informant, then she "hangs up" and walks over to a crib when she notices shepard... or something. AP2 I don't really wanna get into because of spoiler territory. Considering that ME romance's option was at the Normandy beginning ME2, they should had plenty of times to procreate. It feels like a missed opportunity for both: deepening the romantic bond ( to which there wasn't much motivation to stay loyal) and just an awesome moment in gaming where you find out you have a kid. IMO, BW didn't want to make the player feel bad about cheating on their "spouse" and so that they are able to fully explore the romance options in ME2 to which the majority of the dialog was committed. Seriously how do you go from 3 options to 9?
  2. Pretty sure the majority of eligible (not registered) Palestinians don't turn out to vote. Different motives, Americans don't vote because of laziness or disinterest. Palestinian don't vote out of fear.
  3. Actually ME would enrich itself from something like that, even though is fictional you have a personal reason to save the universe. But it would ruin the new romances so scratch that BW, even though you should feel some real consequences to cheating.
  4. Also a fix for the enemies disappearing after reload.
  5. Okay, after logging 16 hours of gameplay I feel that AP is a bug out of which a game grew. Skipping, faulty AI, awkward controls, and some other major stuff. Fortunately the game has it's playable moments but the amount of faults make it almost impossible to enjoy.
  6. Correction, is like Telos with an iron ball on your foot. That Iron Ball is called the mechanics, I swear that this game has more bugs than a corpse and I've only done two missions.
  7. Remember people these are games, target audience is adolescents and young adults. Sometimes you need the cookie cut cartoon villain so that you know who is who quickly and can get to the playing. I will that in RPG though, this is unforgivable.
  8. They should already have their own experts and should had prepared to handle this situation. This whole thing has a permeating stench of incompetence to it, like everyone handling the situation has no idea what to do. The sad part is that none of them are going to be held responsible for their actions, or lack thereof.
  9. Thanks Tigraines, now I'm sure that AP is a game that I want to play.
  10. Nope it doesn't, but it may very well change how "quality" is defined by the gamer. I would say quality si as much subjective in a game as it is objective. Just look at the current opinions on Alpha Protocol. Everyone is playing the same game, objectively, but the opinions on quality are varying enormously. Quality and opinion are different things and a lot of those reviews are on the biased side of things. AP is a game with technical problems but is not unplayable, it's quality doesn't depend nor changes with person to person. Quality is intrinsic and objective, what a gamer prefers and what it's actually wrong are different. I would say that quality is a mix of content with performance and that the gamer's opinion is irrelevant.
  11. But if you want class act espionage starring a female lead I recommend La Femme Nikita
  12. Because it lacks the mainstream appeal. Basically they want the uninformed and semi-intelligent to know that this is an analogy and engage on it.
  13. Burn notice new season starts this week, so it's spy week.
  14. I disagree. Drowning isn't a pretty thing. There have been no reports of any killed Israeli soldiers. Maybe because shots were fired. Could be that a resolution without violence was impossible, the soldiers were outnumbered and under aggression. Under that kind of situation even the most trained are bound to respond with violence.
  15. Even if they were on the committee, what could they bring to it? They are still in the middle of changing viewpoints about women and their equality. They have an obvious cultural bias.
  16. These things are cyclical, after the Action RPG market subsides there will be a place for old school. Although OP should remember that this has always been sort of an underground thing, BW may have broken into mainstream with the genre most of it remains behind. @WorstUsernameEver: I agree wholeheartedly with you, DA:O would had done much better without the darkspawn and Grey Wardens. Just a big political theme with lots of grey areas.
  17. Nice baiting, but it won't work. Unlike you, I don't do good things for cred mining. Well, actually, that is like you, except that you don't actually do good things at all! Funny that. Then please do tell of the many good deeds you have done for the revolution.
  18. You, sir, are a genius but sadly too clever ever to make it in the games industry. No kidding, that suggestion would kill 50% of the problem stone dead. I find your comment to be disturbing, since I am trying to get into the industry.
  19. True, true. FemShep acts like a **** with Jacob, romancing Garrus would seem rather incestuous since he's more like a brother than a lover, and the bug-eyed assassin is about as sexy as an iguana on steroids. I already have a FemShep save remaining faithful to Kaiden, because hope springs eternal. And Samara is unavailable.
  20. It all sounds so good in the planning phase, and then 10 years later we are still picking up the pieces. Planning? I though we were gonna nuke them.
