Ahem, YOU FORGOT DJANGO.

What if Baldur's Gate III: The Black Hound was released?
Time to get them tattooed, I guess. Backwards so he can read them, or we can implant the memories of said threads and the future ones while he is dreaming.

What you did today?
Ok that makes 3, a few more and we can host the Obsidian mail order bride convention.

Proper capitalist public transport
With gas prices being what they are, I wouldn't be surprised if those things were a money bleed.

What you did today?
Well it's a glorious summer day with temperatures on the high 90's (farenheit), on day 3 of my 2 week holiday me mum decided; as she does every summer to do some remodeling. I have been cleaning petroleum off the driveway for the last 3 hours; which is a left off from redoing the rooftop. Tomorrow we are painting.

Failpenguin. I'd like to see you swim from Antarctica to New Zealand. That penguin is a god among birds. Maybe he flew?- Libya
Nah it's more like I am advocating for a post-1900 neo-colonialism (which I am) I consider it to be a mutual beneficial relationship. We get to control a resource, and they get a ticket into the 21st century, like most colonies have done (Africa excluded) it's the true and tried method.- What you did today
You should have a sense of foreboding duty, it's up to you to induct this new soul into the ways of the force. make him take the red pill.- Libya
I think that I've said something to that aspect before, so I concur. Personally I think that the area has abundant resources (oil) that will make delivering easier, hoping that the private sector won't **** it up. Plus the more open we are about it the more strength we gain in the international arena, since we would be privy to the rights of the oil in the area (now if only we could sabotage Russia's pipeline). In any case if we are going to stay in the area it should be under 2 conditions: we gain something from the endeavor (**** democracy ) and we focus our efforts solely on a single country, setting up an stronghold for our interests in the area.- What you did today

Yeah I think the reviewer had a bad case of the nostalgia googles and was picking at threads. @Raithe: nice article, the art direction in this game it's sublime and it really shows. Wish people would notice.- Deus Ex 3
I guess that what the reviewer meant to say it's that objects in DX were interactive whereas in HR the interactive objects are often the same ones. The boxes look the same and it's easy to figure out the paths because of it. Edit: but if he wants to build a fort there its always minecraft.- Deus Ex 3
I don't mean to be cross, but what valid points?- Obsidian, please add new forum themes
Sexy?- Drug use and personal limits
Not really. But people on coke tend to act like hyperventilating **** that no one wants around so they would probably be thrown out either way. Ok...how many coked up people have you know, that were for certain under the influence?- Movies you've seen recently
I completely agree. Like the second Riddick film, really. Vin Diesel has some interesting ideas but they struggle in the execution of the movies. Strangely enough they transfer pretty well into the games, Babylon A.D. could had been an interesting FPS.- Deus Ex 3
a-hem anyway, the scoped dart gun is silent, and you don't even need that most of the time, it's very easy to crouch behind enemies and take them out one by one with your bare hands No, the energy cells are spent after you do. Max of 4 cells with energy regen maxed it will still take you about 30 secs after you are completely spent, any enemy at that point that it's still alive can see the corpses and set the alarm. Plus guards are hardly ever alone. Trust me, you can't kill everyone and get the bonuses.- Deus Ex 3
You can't, non lethal weapons are 1 shot only and before you get the silencers it's impossible. With the silencers it's close to impossible. I wouldn't recommend trying to take everyone out since it's next to impossible to do without being seen.- Deus Ex 3
The "Ghost" and "Smooth Operator" bonuses- Deus Ex 3
Gunning him down will alert everyone in the area making one kill turn into a firefight that yields potentially the same. Point it's that on a stealth approach you handle fewer enemies. They fixed that on HR, though.- The funny things thread Part 2
Seconded. Although Jehova's Witnesses are a close second. No birthdays, WTF?!? I know that this it's supposed to be a funny things thread and everything but this post it's just reminding me of my grandmother refusing a transfusion because she is a Jehova's Witness.- How can oen publisher invest in so many MMORPG's and expect to make a profit?
Or the lack could be due to the fact that MMO's are bigger on the Asian market and that free to play models haven't really caught up with publishers over here. On the publisher's side its always about money, I doubt that they will put their faith on something without a sure return.- The funny things thread Part 2
i may be wrongly assuming this was directed at me but if you can't take a joke in a joke thread for what it is worth (which is a joke...) then you probably don't belong in this thread to begin with This, children, it's an ironic post.- The funny things thread Part 2
But then how i'm I going to find out who? :whisper: can you discreetly point your finger at him? :whisper: - The funny things thread Part 2
