A well written argument, but you seem to omit the fact that racial differences are...well, different from religious. Push came to shove many times in the US history were blacks fought in every war and still faced discrimination. Whilst in times of peril they were brothers at arms (to an extent) they still had to face racism when they came back home. The situation with Elizabeth involved a single ethnic group with religious differences. So even if they fight together its no guarantee of a well adjusted multicultural society, although I should point that attitudes have changed and there is more tolerance of differences nowadays. Even if there is enough racism to counter it.

If convoluted storylines were a hallmark of great writing then no doubt there would be many other games praised by their writing. Its hard to care about someone in a Michael Bay film...Oh wait, we are talking about MW. Rule still applies. Seriously, half the people writing for games don't know what they are doing and the other half don't know how to write. I spent most of my time in MW trying to figure out why was attacking a oil base, or why I went to Brazil. Until I finally gave up and figured out that the devs completed the game before the story.

The industry has been pulling out MP on every game in the last 3 years, ever since someone said that "millenials" are more social by nature and by social they probably meant that they can't go 3 secs without texting or checking their facebook status. Let's just look at the transition of FEAR (since it's close to mind) the first 2 were FPS/Horror games with the added multiplayer. The last one was some multiplayer bull with an added FEAR storyline. Wanna know why nobody makes WRPGS that aren't MMOs? NO MULTIPLAYER
