I wonder why there still aren't any OLED monitors to buy? I know about that one Dell (30", 4k, a billion dollars), but I just want a 27" 1440p OLED. If LG can make a reasonably priced 55" 4k TV, it should be possible to make 27" monitors with less resolution for a reasonable price too.

Okay, I'm jealous. Those would be perfect for my character. They are actually awesome so I would guess they fit most non-caster builds. Aside from the obvious stats, the Sigil skill it has is great. My build is centered on full on assault, where everything I hit feeds me hitpoints. I have to balance my damage output with my armour so that I don't get hit harder than I can hit them back. This worked well for large groups of melee enemies (hard hitter on left mouse button, 270 degree arc on right mouse button), but I had problems when those groups had a lot of casters/ranged enemies. The sigil that this piece of equipment summons hits no matter the distance and it activates every third attack (which is all the time). It creates a round area around the attacking enemy that sucks hitpoints from them and transfers to me! Works wonders for those pesky ranged enemies. Also, any other enemy who wanders into the circle are also affected so it's kind of a tiny area of effect spell. Oh god, I'm beginning to sound like a Grim Dawn nerd. I don't know anything about builds, I promise! -
So, according to you, what decides if a game is a RPG or not is what type of combat it has. I guess we have wildly different opinions on what makes a game an RPG. Combat is one of he least important criteria for me.

No-one but me gives a ****, but.. I found my first legendary item! Yay! This is the reason I play these stupid games for; the exhilaration when you see that legendary colour burst out of the kill and you don't yet know what it is. I love it. -
How on earth are you level 76? I feel like I've been playing forever and I'm only level 48 or 49 (struggling to reach 50 and potential Legendary items). Although it is widely known I suck at clicky games..

It doesn't have any room requirements. You can sit still with the Vive too.

I've only used it on my work computer but for me Win 10 is a bundle of problems, from bluescreens to incompatibility. Easier to navigate? For me it feels like they've buried all the more powerful functions under layers of obfuscation. I like the speed of Win 10 though. It feels quicker. I'll just wait until summer before switching on my games computer. Hopefully they've patched it a bit more by then. -

Win 10 is better than 7. In what way? -
I've been playing Grim Dawn too, but I'm too lazy to build anything so I just put all my points into soldier and hit things with my hammer. Oh, and that constellation thing? I have no idea what it is or what it does, but apparently it's not needed. I'm doing just fine without ever spending a point in it (level 40 right now). I'm probably missing half the game.

I had to try out Grim Dawn again since it was officially released last week. I must say I'm a bit surprised by how much has changed since I last played it in the beta (early access?). Especially the map layouts show bigger changes than I anticipated, which is a good thing. I tried to not play the beta too much because I was afraid I would grow tired of the maps before the game was even released, but I see now that my worried were unfounded. Great game, by the way.

So.. the HTC Vive is up for pre-order. For a mere $799 you can enter the VR too! http://blog.htcvive.com/2016/02/unveiling-the-vive-consumer-edition-and-pre-order-information/ Remember how we all thought the Oculus Rift was insanely priced at $600? Yeah..

This game is so cheerful... In Dying Light: The Following, you get these mini missions (you basically pick up little notes from a board) where you're tasked with finding missing people. This particular person was not in the best of shape. I'm so glad they decided to give the rope realistic physics and the girl's body ragdoll physics.. -
Still playing that Dying Light expansion. It's really good, but damn I'm getting my butt kicked every time I drive my car at night. On my feet I'm doing ok, but as soon as I sit in my car they rip me to shreds within seconds. I can't outrun them, I can't run them over, it feels like I can't do anything to survive. Oh well. Still fun though. And the difficulty level makes nights very suspenseful.

Still playing Dragon's Dogma. I defeated the Dragon the game got its name from.. but the game didn't end? I'm very confused.

Yeah, I'm way too lazy to install a beta for just one weekend, but I did check out a Twitch stream on it. I saw this guy run around with two or three other guys, going up against maybe 5-6 enemies. The guy streaming had a sniper rifle and he kept popping an enemy in a grey hoodie 5-6 times in the head while the grey hoodie dude just kept running forward without much of a response at all. It might still be a good game but that put me off a little bit.

Titanfall sales pass 10 million units Battlefront sales figures top 12 million units Does anything you ever say hold any value?

So.. I reached level 50 in Dragon's Dogma and un-used to the Japanese RPG's as I am I thought to myself, "Ok, I'm getting up there in levels, time to check out the Dark Arisen expansion". I promptly had a couple of skeletons doing a jig on my broken body before I realized my mistake. This game has an achievement for reaching level 100. And another for reaching level 200. I guess level 50 is still considered pretty low.

Dying Light was my game of the year 2015. WANNA FIGHT?!
-
I'm closing in on level 30 in Dragon's Dogma. This game is a lot tougher than I remembered, but I'm finally becoming slightly more powerful and can beat up cyclops and ogres. Having lots of fun with it.

Graphics cards with 1024GB/s bandwidth? Samsung begins HBM2 production
mkreku replied to Gfted1's topic in Skeeter's Junkyard
Both Pascal (Nvidia) and Polaris (AMD) will be using these memory modules. Will be interesting to see what kind of impact they have. Feels like RAM bandwidth problems should be solved for a while at least..
