  1. I hate being in that situation, btw.
  2. Happily, I'm used to people being obsessed with my organs. Never been the kidney, before, though.
  3. Well, ps3 users have been complaining for the whole generation about how they had to suffer FMVs packed for DVD size, instead of using the full available storage space on blu-rays. Imagine if digital downloads were more heavily compressed than disc releases, or even worse, they'd start compressing the whole release more heavily to make the digital download smaller? If you don't have the bandwidth, buy the disc. Simple.
  4. Hey hooking up with an ex sometimes leads to pretty good stuff. But not if they're nuts! Depends on your definition of "good stuff". Also, it's not yet quite noon, and I've already billed more than today's target. Now it's just greed keeping me here instead of going home to watch last night's phins-saints.
  5. Got the parka I ordered in the wrong size due to a shipping error, so I have to return it, fill a bunch of customs forms etc. And I bet the seller is going to choke when he realized how much an EMS package to the U.S. costs (67 euros just for shipping). They have the right size in stock, so this should just be an annoyance.
  6. I have some of the original plastic beakies that predate my lead ones.
  7. If Seattle gets the #1 seed, no one else in the NFC has a chance to make it to the Super Bowl. I remain unconvinced, even yesterday seemed a lot more the Texans coming apart in the second half than the Seahawks being amazing. The Seahawks are still to be properly challenged, beating the Panthers, Jaguars, 49ers as they've been and yesterday's Texans still doesn't a #1 seed make. Saints are pretty much in the same boat, though Miami tonight might be some kind of indicator... Their season also sharpens up rapidly, soon. Ok, I just looked at the Seahawks' schedule and looks like they have it pretty easy the whole season, but Colts next week just might be interesting.
  8. I'd back it, and consider selling a kidney. If there's one genre that's lacking games, it's cyberpunk. I'm considering buying that Syndicate horros, ffs!
  9. I'm big and inoffensive, so I don't get into a lot of fights. Came close at the last office xmas party, but then the girls whose honour I was protecting leapt to my defence and the other guy decided to call it a day ;D +I deal with too many aftermaths of too many bar fights that wind up costing people too much.
  10. In my experiences with Witcher fans, they don't shut up about how the series is the best RPG ever. So much so, almost every thread they enter devolves into "Well, the Witcher did this great...". As for Bioware fans, I just think it is that forum that is ****ed up. Nep seems sane at least. I don't go to their forum. And I seriously doubt I'd be labeled a Bioware fan anywhere but here, my attempt at maintaining a balance just comes off as one-sided due to the other side being rather raucously over-represented here.
  11. If it looks too good to be true, it usually is. Getting progressively more and more broke here in the countryside, but looks like I might be getting at least some kind of bonus before the year's end.
  12. I'll just post this Finnish bread product here so we can /thread
  13. And I can confirm that the Finnish Army didn't qualify as a "good instructor". Ok, maybe they figured that a Civilian Affairs guy doesn't have to be a marksman.
  14. Doesn't even have to be vote... I swear I'm the only person who' s ever worked in their life a lot of my clients have ever met. I've worked since I was 15, if not to have food on the table, then at least to have music to listen to and games to play, mostly due to the crippling tax burden my university teacher parents had to deal with.
  15. Oh, man, I'd love that. Hell yes! Domineering finnish woman... That's the only kind there is, really.
  16. Yesterday at court was kind of similar, was in a bigger city and the prosecutor scored high on the ice maiden/probably moonlighting as a highly paid dominatrix scale. Especially since I said my bit in the first 15 minutes and had to just sit there for the remaining few hours. Niiiice. And I'm guessing you were so turned on you couldn't sit still! Dude, am LL.D. The main thing you take away from an advanced law degree is the ability to sit still in almost any situation. :D Also, frankly, not my type, but still something to rest my eyes on while everybody else is jabbering
  17. That's a good question. I'll have to rethink the plan and start learning English.

  19. one older sister, also married. plus, california vs wherever nepenthe lives "Have advanced degree, willing to travel" :D
  20. Yet there are still people who disagree with both.
  21. My "hmm, Italian" from the vegetato camo is somewhat lessened by the arm flag
  22. you mean aim a rifle and pull the trigger? my wife is a better shot than me by miles. she would be 10x the soldier i would be, and i'm an adult male who is over 6 feet tall. So what we've learned from this is.. entrerix is a wimp. ..and we need pics of his wife. Pronto. no joke, she is 5'2 and only weighs 115 lbs, but her single rep max squat is about 40 pounds more than mine.... she has been lifting weights for a few years though, i dont think most women lift anything other than those little pink dumbbells. if you want pics just google AJ Lee, but change her face for someone who looks a lot like the actress from the xfiles. i dont think the wife wants me posting her pics online Does she have sisters? Or clones?
