Do you have any auto saves? Auto saves work well for me and they are the only ones I found to not reset my game.

Believe me this sucks I know I am dealing with this every time I load. Have you tried solely using auto saves? I notice all my auto saves work fine its just for some reason my manual saves that get bugged and will either reset my game apart from my inventory, give an infinite loading screen, or crash enitrely, the autosaves avoid this for me give it a shot.

Believe me I know how frustrating it can be especially if you've put countless hours into the game you won't back. Let me know if this worked if not I'll try to think of something it's just a little tricky because the cloud also includes the internet at this point and not just the game.

Was having an issue where my game would run incredibly slow and jittery. So basically what I did was super obvious! CLEAN UP! after a 4-5 hour session of cleaning materials I dropped or didn't pickup, recycling 100s of planks literally I lost count, my game is running back @ 60 fps or so it seems close. For those with tons of builds you will most likely need to do this if you want your game running smoother believe me I know its tedious AF but its worth it until we get a patch,

I completely agree but this type of response will only get a condescending remark from the community here trust me I practically said the same thing lol. We are getting a major update on the 27th so hopefully If we can't find a solution now maybe it'll be fixed by then. This seems to be an issue with the cloud and unfortunately I do not know of any fixes atm. This could be a long shot but perhaps try resetting your router and modem?

Alright lmk if it worked. Did you also check the game ready driver as well? I just got an update on mine yesterday I didn't install.

This has been happening to me very frequently i even make 5-10 backup saves and not even that does the job however I do notice my autosaves tend to work. As long as it is an autosave before that manual save I'm almost certain it will load with all your stuff still there.

When this happens do you get your resources back or are the structures completely gone like they vanished? I do notice for example if i use blueprints on a stack of clay foundations and if i only fill the top one and delete the bottom ones it will fall due to no support as it would technically just be a floating piece. Maybe you need to fill in the bottom parts of your blue prints?

I think maybe this is something to do with a bugged save. Have you tried loading an auto save? I noticed for a fact that my manual saves are super buggy but for some odd reason my auto saves load fine and don't bug my game.

4 minutes 28 seconds? That sounds like paradise to how long my game takes to load, I have video proof that my game takes 20-30min to load. Are you on pc or console?

Yup been having this issue since day 3 thats why I suggested there should be a way to trash planks/logs just because us console users don't have the hardware/fps to handle the game the way a PC does so something like that would help reduce that lag and possibly even load times.

This happened to me once it was really weird I just logged in to see half my base gone like some giant just stepped on it. Lots of backup saves though helped me from having to go too far back.

That's a good graphics card/setup in general I would think that it could easily process this game without any issues. Have you checked to see if all your drivers are up to date? I would assume there might be a graphics card update that you have not yet installed.

Ok so unfortunately I had planned on uploading a slideshow of screenshots but I was unaware of the 1mb size limit. I was trying to refrain from posting a video because I feel it is too self-promotional but it seems thats the only choice unless i resize 60+ screenshots . I think thats a common bug, I heard one way around this is to destroy it with a weapon rather than recycling.

Oh I forgot to add as well re-installing worked for me once as well but but be warned that re-installing erases your autosaves.

Is it just the bases that are gone or has the whole game reset as well apart from your inventory? One solution although inconvenient seems to work, make LOTS of backup manual saves and i emphasize lots 2-3 won't cut it do at least 5+. The autosaves also seem to work for me I don't think I've had an issue loading an autosave that reset my bases and game so make sure you have full 5 autosave slots along with short times. Lastly, if your on pc or have access to one you can use it to look at your saves of the game and it will show a screenshot preview of the save, in my case I notice sometimes these saves will have a white screen as the screenshot preview and this always leads to my game being reset 100%. If you see the other saves with a legitimate screenshot preview of your last save then theres at least a much better chance that it saved your progress.

I think in this location on my game it spawns 3 stink bugs. I could be wrong but maybe the extra 2 cause a frame drop on the console? I play on both console and pc and I notice for certain that I only experience issues with lag or low fps on the console. This may be a dumb idea but if you have access to a PC try to load your regular save and maybe lure 1-2 of them away from that location then save. If you don't have a pc then see if your able to at least get close enough to lure 1 elsewhere with the bow that is if you don't hit the lag zone.

Oh like it doesn't show up in the cloud at all? I think a re-install might fix that only thing is that this will erase the auto saves though

It may be a bug in your game then. @Whitelightning I have actually found lady bugs stuck in rocks not very often but the odd time I will this could be your issue im guessing @Scott McDonald. If that's the case just make sure your alert with the sound to find out if they are stuck or not. In some instances to your able to bait them through rocks when they attack so if they are stuck then try this then they should respawn normally.
